Updated with new uses for fire in the game, you can now throw oil lamp or torch out to ignite objects. The combination of vodka and torch together will have a more powerful effect and can be used to repel wild dogs.

Gameplay Re-Vamp | Planetary Battles
Last month we published our “Gameplay design plans,” this month we’ve been rigorously implementing and testing them. The “June 4th “Meet & Test” event produced a lot of valuable feedback, so a big thank you to everyone that provided comment, critique and criticism.

Up next, the Planetary Base assault loop will be re-introduced to the game. (It was temporarily removed so we could focus on Station Assault). We’ll be looking to receive more player feedback on the new gameplay loop, and further, on the state of the game.



Community Event and Testing
We'll be hosting a livestream to cover the changes, and discuss the new gameplay. Including match progression, objectives for attacking / defending planetary bases, changes to player progression, unlocks, loadouts, missions and more.

Your feedback is important to us. We'll continue to track how the game plays, and how intuitive objectives are for new players. We're interested in hearing your thoughts on refining the Station Assault loop, Planetary Base assault loop, and team play mechanics. Switch to "Beta-Branch" for this Event
Participating in this test, will require the "Beta Branch" build on Steam.
To Change, Right-click Battlescape in your Steam library > go to "Properties" > and in "Betas" select "beta".
After the event, be sure to switch back to the default ("None") branch.
Once updated, and in game, join us on the PTR test server.

DEAD - Postal

but now something is actually being done with it.

DEAD 2 will be releasing at some point later this year. Currently I am opening the availability to play in set beta/tech tests that I will be privately hosting to gain feedback that I otherwise would not be able to see for myself. Below is a video of the current look of DEAD 2.

To be able to join in on Beta Tests you must add me on Discord georgehennen#8969 so you can be invited to a private discord group for various Keys and Beta testing release windows.

AI Roguelite - AI Roguelite: AI-generated RPG
  • Introducing multiple difficulties, including “Adventure” difficulty (easy mode). In adventure mode, you are given total freedom to directly write story events, via the “[OPEN-ENDED]” option in the text box. The AI will respond accordingly and do the same checks as if you’d done a regular action.
  • Changed death mechanics: In adventure mode, when you die you wake up in a different place with no penalty. In roguelite mode, you wake up but lose most of your items. In insane mode, death is permanent.
  • Added an option to use item/ability while running away.
  • Slightly improved NPC name generation (less chance of bogus names)
  • Added tooltip damage info to abilities
  • Fixed bug where enemy turn asked the AI twice in a row and took twice as long as needed
