We know you've been eager to hear more Mahokenshi news, and we're here to deliver!

We're excited to announce that we have partnered with Iceberg Interactive, an indie publisher with quite a bit of experience in publishing strategy games. Together we will be bringing you Mahokenshi in 2023! To celebrate, we've whipped up a cool new trailer for you to check out.


We also decided not to enter Early Access before full release. We felt that it would be better to bring you the full, polished Mahokenshi experience in one go. There may be other opportunities for testing in the future, however.



And for those who are new here, welcome! Here's what you can expect from Mahokenshi:

  • 4 Samurai Houses, each with their own unique abilities and strengths.

Neyyah - Defy Reality Entertainment
Hello Neyyah adventurers! Another scene has begun its development ... Another step forward to powering up that grand portal, which will eventually open up the entire world of Neyyah to you!



I have previously touched upon the term 'blocking' in this dev log: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1289720?emclan=103582791467052962&emgid=3291580955675052130. It's a great opportunity for myself to lay out the basic foundations of the Neyyah world. A lot of sets have started out this way: no textures, just primitive shapes, which will then become layered and clustered with details along the way!

It was during this phase of modelling - where there aren't any textures added to my models - that gave me the lightbulb moment that THIS was the software I needed to use to create Neyyah. Cycles rendering engine provides a fantastic photorealistic look, using pathtraced rendering. This is one of the many reasons why I decided to create a prerendered game!

It was in one of my first ever moments of seeing Blender's render preview come to life on the computer screen that made me think, 'Wow! This really reminds me of the fidelity scene in Riven' - (despite its low resolution graphics now, it still stands up as incredibly compelling, and continues to provide much inspiration for Neyyah!)

I will share some of my earliest Blender works on here soon! Works which would later lead to much more fleshed out worlds for Neyyah!

Potion Craft Leaves Early Access this Fall

We can confirm that the game is going to be leaving early access really soon! While we can’t name the exact date just yet, we wanted to be transparent and give you the release window understanding so you can be ready!

We will be sharing more news and devlogs about some of the upcoming features in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled.

What’s Coming in the Next Update before the release

Here’s the list of some of the features coming your way in the next Potion Craft update this July.
With this update we will continue to collect your feedback, polish up the features and balance, so make sure you share your thoughts with us!
  • Completely redesigned Water alchemy map
  • New Oil base and a dedicated map for it
  • New map mechanics: teleporting vortex, swamps, map borders, big experience books, etc.
  • New effects and quests for these effects
  • Special quest requirements (e.g. make a potion without using a specific ingredient or make it at least level 3)
  • New Salts: Moon Salt, Sun Salt, Philosopher's Salt
