Steam Next Fest is nigh, and we're excited to announce that we will be LIVE June 13 at 8:00 PM Eastern and June 14 at 3:00 PM Eastern with Interference: Dead Air! We'll share with you some insights into our game's features and gameplay, and we'll be answering questions in the chat.

We love the many NPC's of SunnySide and would struggle to pick a favourite if asked, which got us thinking, who might be your favourite NPC?
We thought we'd have a bit of fun with that and pick 10 of the NPCs to duke it out in an elimination tournament to see who will be crowned the fan favourite! We'll share bios and images of all the characters so you can see which one you like more.
Starting Monday 13th of June we'll share the first battle on the SunnySide Twitter account and put it to a public poll! This will run for a few weeks whilst we whittle down one overall winner. We may even have a little something special planned for the winning NPC to celebrate their victory, watch this space!

We are planning on merging the 3 servers currently under service (America, Asia, and Europe) on June 22nd. We are going to retain the quality of the gameplay while allowing other players to meet and communicate with players from different servers.
In the merged server, players will be able to meet and communicate with other players from different servers as long as they are in Eltheca. PVP and PVE matchmaking will be maintained to be between players of similar ping so that the quality of gameplay will be maintained.
With the server merge, the following changes will take place:
- Server Time will be based on UTC+0 - All characters will be merged onto 1 server. Characters and empty slots in each server will all be merged into 1 server. - Character Rank and Rating will be retained when the server is merged. - If two or more characters have the same names, their names will be reset. Players will have to rename their characters before they can log into the game. - All quest information will be merged as well when the server merge happens. Please note that only completed quests will be merged. Any quests under progress or any completed quests that have not been turned in will reset. Please make sure quests are completed and turned in before the scheduled maintenance. - If two or more guilds have the same names, the guild name will be changed to include the server code. Guilds with their names changed will have a separate in-game button that will allow them to choose a different name. All other guild-related information will be retained. - Friend/Guild List and Guild Activity Points will be retained. - After the server merge, Tournament System will be temporarily unavailable. A System Revamp is inevitable with the Server Merge and Tournament System will also undergo a Revamp as well. We will make announcements in the future when Tournament System is ready to be brought back.

I'm happy to release today's patch which does a complete overhaul of the lighting in almost every dungeon. This should hopefully improve performance in some places and help the game feel like it is of much higher quality. Expect to continue to see improvements to dungeons over time.

In addition to the lighting and performance improvements, there have been some significant changes to a few dungeons to give the player more options while exploring. This may mean you need to find an alternate route to progress based on your character!
Lastly, introducing... interactable objects! There are not very many yet... but now the player can interact with various objects found throughout dungeons to cleverly defeat unsuspecting enemies or unlock a new path.
