Weekly Challenge: Monster Island
The kaiju had been confined to Monster Island, but now the whole island is going berzerk! Get the situation under control...if you can.
This one's a doozy, as you'll be immediately attacked by a whole gaggle of kaiju from the island! Luckily they start with low health, but you'll have to prioritize which to take down first. Hold out until the mighty Sky Carrier can be deployed, and don't forget to rebuild your Suburbs with the Population Growth project!
We know things have been a bit quiet lately, but work on Filthy Animals has been carrying on behind the scenes. We are getting closer to launching the game!
Today we have some exciting news to share with everyone - we have a new publisher to help us make Filthy Animals a reality. You might have seen or heard in the press that Green Man Gaming Publishing will be working with us at Pewter Games Studios and LoPoly.
Nothing is going to change in terms of development and plans for the game, it just means we’ll have the funding and support to bring Filthy Animals to a wider market and on as many platforms as possible! The team really understands the game and knows the direction we want to take it.
We are approaching the final stretch of development now, and we can’t wait to bring everyone along for the ride and get you involved. As a small indie developer, it’s super important for us to hear what you all think!

Lastly, we are also bringing the Discord back to life, with a helping hand from our very own mastermind himself, Tony! He’ll be helping us out by managing the Discord, hanging out in the chats and giving you important updates while we focus on developing the game. Be nice!

This Pride, we at Codename Entertainment are delighted announce that we collaborated with Omega Jones to create a unique familiar for our Lambert House charity drive! 🎯 [Performance] Performance has been increased by a rework of lightning-based particle effects. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed a bug in the physics engine which caused some raycasts not to trigger on certain contacts. In particular, this bug could cause explosions not to hit some targets. 🎯 [Bug fix] The HUD border graphics that illustrates key player conditions (e.g., low hull, corrosive, cold, etc.) now handles arbitrary aspect ratios correctly. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed an issue which could cause some turrets on cruisers not to spawn. 🎯 [Balancing] Two Xinthu-based weapons that can do self-damage has been disabled from use on larger ships. The reason is that the issue of self-damage is minor for big ships and major for small ships (due to the large discrepancy in hull).
Have you ever wished that the Item Exchange button didn't disappear when the reward decisions are up? Well, now you can mark your decision as final, and get back to being able to press the Item Exchange or Neighborhood Adjust buttons. You won't get your reward any faster, but you do get to press the buttons that would otherwise be hidden!
