We can finally reveal the timed exclusive demo for Sker Ritual in the Steam Next Fest event which runs in tandem with Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest from June 13th-20th! The demo will enable 1-4 players to team up online and face Sker Island’s Quiet Ones and their more powerful cohabitants, The Elites, in a first-person round-based survival shooter.
After customising their character’s horror-themed masks, players can jump into Solo, Private or Quick Play online matchmaking for one map, The Cursed Lands of Lavernock. The demo will include a sample of our Story Objectives and gain full access to The Laughing Policeman’s shop and the steampunk-inspired Magnificent Munitions Upgrade Station.
The demo represents the end of Alpha development and will switch to Beta before launching on Steam Early Access later this Summer. The alpha demo will be limited to 30 minutes per game, with an unlimited amount of replays. We’re excited to listen to the community’s feedback and encourage all players to join the Sker Ritual Discord server to be a part of the journey and connect with others in the community.

• Correct misspelled words. • Added dialogue to better understand the story. • Adjust the balance of encountering monsters in various dungeons. • Added stuff to the village. • Fixed a bug that couldn't continue playing.
To keep things as fun, fair, and inclusive for everyone as possible, when you choose to participate in the Stream and with it's community you understand and agree to the below rules:

Added tighter save file validation to prevent the game from crashing in cases where the save file was corrupted. This only affects level progress for levels left unfinished. Completed / unlocked levels are preserved so any progress made is safe.
Fixed a bug where if the restart button was pressed immediately after the level was completed it logged 0 moves and 00:00 time for the level stats
Changed the level stats update to overwritte `0 moves` values to amend cases that were created by the above.
As you will see from this list, lots of work has gone into this new build...and this is the perfect time to thank those players who reached out to us with feedback. It’s appreciated and it really helps us focus on the features ( or tweaks ) that truly matter to the players.
Here is what new in the build : • Better Over all client simulation in the shop. • Re-order customer simulation actions ( search album, check price, queue ) • Album Selling price range fix. ( Customers never paid more than 12 bucks. ) • Selling price vs prestige is now balanced. ( With high enough prestige you’ll be able to sell albums at $20..even $22 ( with Sigil Skill )! ) • Daily Actions mouse over button overlapping issue is fixed. • Helping cashier now starts immediately instead of waiting until the current client interaction is completed. ( Hooray! ) • Daily Result interface cleanup phase 1. ( it’s still a bit of a mess. ) • Fixed a few typos and did a few corrections. ( Neons to fluorescent, vinyls to records. Etc.) • Record Collection value added to the financials. • Collection albums using the wrong band name is now fixed.
New things were added! • 3 new songs! • 40 new disc labels added! • 20 Upgrade icons added!
What are we working on now? • Saving and loading system progressing. • Better Vintage Records collection navigation. • The Record Rack refill system. • Adjustments in the conversation options / bargaining.
Early Access only features. • Loans are still never ending! • Skill points are still awarded each day without completing tasks!
