Peglin - Red Nexus Games
Hello everyone!

Apologies for the lack of updates on what we've been working on behind the scenes, the team has been heads down working on the Cruciball update and a smaller follow-up bugfix and content update. Please don't hesitate to keep submitting bugs and feedback (we have best practices pinned in a discussion thread) and we'll keep fixing things up as best we can!

Now that the Cruciball update is out, we thought it would be great to clear up some confusion and give you a better idea of what to expect on the way to the v1.0 release. So exciting, right!?

The following are some of the things we have in the pipeline:


Second Mine boss
- There will be a second Mine boss added named the Super Sapper!



Slime Synergy Update
- For people that love the splatorb, we'll have a bunch of new orbs and relics made to synergize to make the slimy loadout you've always dreamed of!


Store & Currency System
- Gold will be earned through peg board clear percentage, and you’ll be able to spend it on new Orbs or Relics, or to remove orbs from your satchel! The store will help reduce some of the randomness that is only going to increase as we add more and more content. And you’ll get to meet Haglin, the cutest shop-owner!



Third Castle miniboss
- Keep your eyes on the appearance of a Third Castle miniboss, Shield Mage~.



Bestiary
- The Bestiary is a guide which you’ll fill out by encountering and defeating enemies. It’ll allow you to see stats and descriptions of the enemies you have fought and will have unlocks paired with particular challenges on enemies.



Classes
- Yes! We can choose a class for our little Peglin friend. There will be three available: Balladin, Roundrel, and Spinventor. The three will give different bonuses and statuses that could be of help during your runs.




Run History and Stats
- In the main menu, we will be adding an option where you can view the stats of your previous runs. For example, you will see what nodes you found along the way, the time it took for you to complete (or lose) a run, what orbs and relics you had, and more!


General Content
- We’ll continue to add new enemies, encounters, scenarios, and minigames regularly on our road to 1.0. Each area will have a total of 3 bosses, 5 minibosses, and roughly twice as many battles as are currently in the game!



Challenge Boss
- After the third area, we will be adding a mini Eldritch horror hole! It'll be shorter than other areas with only 3-5 nodes, but this will be the home of an extremely challenging optional boss.


Those are are some the biggest things to look forward to on our road to 1.0. The team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make Peglin better and better, and your feedback and suggestions have been incredibly helpful to us. Crazy Kung Fu - Hyperactive
Dear Students,

I've added another set of bracers to the game for you to unlock at a higher level of training. If you have already been awarded the previous bracers, you can work towards these now. Train hard!

I've wanted to make new bracers for Crazy Kung Fu for a while, and now that we have a variety of them to play with in game I couldn't be happier. It's really great to be able to play and train with some neat looking bracers, as well of course being able to show off your level by simply showing the style of bracer you are wearing 😎

Updates and fixes:
  • New bracers: Improviser & Legend
  • Various texture/model improvements.
  • Updated entire text display system so it's easier to read but also performs better overall.
  • Update leaderboard panels and display, so the banner color works better with the text, and your name/score is a different color so you can quickly see where you are.

Howdy folks!

Have a new build for your folks this week, mooooooostly bugfix focused, but we've stuffed a couple extra things in the Item Spawner as well that've been in the game in one form or another in the past, but never directly spawnable until now. Do please continue to report any bugs of items you try to save/load that don't. We're slowly working our way through everything :-)

    Zombie Death Quota - FroggyFroggy
    A Time Attack mode called Operation: Jam Sandwich has been added.

    It uses a Steam Leaderboard which can be seen in game and on the Community Hub at the top right under View Stats.

    It is a timed version of the level with a fixed starting place for you and all items and monsters.
    The same seed for the random number generator is set at the start of the level, so if you were to always give the same inputs, the level would always play out the same, however once you diverge, zombie wandering will change and the level could play quite differently.

    I wanted a distinctive name in case I decided to add more leaderboards.

    Mission Pop-out:

    New mission pop out will tell you stuff about... Well... Stuff you are probably supposed to do! You can press and hold the Menu button (Button customized to be Num-4 in the gif) to show details, or view it at any time in the Info Panel!

    Enemy Scanner

    As you level up your character you can eventually get a brain big enough to analyze enemies with the Enemy Scanner ability!

    • Added unlockable Buffer items, which you can activate for a temporary boost to your power. Variants: Fire, Feedback, Unstoppable, Consuming, Ghost, Tracing, and Downloadable RAM (SD)
    • Added the Daisy Chain turret minion, which uses a Pinball launcher (with chain!)
    • Added the Patch super duper instant heal, which heals for a percentage of your missing health
    • Reduced the size of the crosshair kill confirm animation
    • Reduced Beam Turret slowing at lower levels
    • Buffed Scorporations across the board (damage, timing, and accuracy, especially with level)
    • Lockout enemies no longer spawn in boss hacks
    • Lockout enemies now are detailed on the progression screen
    • Triple Blink cooldown increased back to what it should have been (about 3s)
    • Cleanse renamed to Debug. It still removes all your debuffs (negative effects/Vulnerabilities)
    • Targeting Dummies can now be debuffed and in general behave lot more like regular enemies
    • Updated AI line of sight algorithm to be more accurate, and so they can do stuff like attack targeting dummies
    • Fixed an issue where canceling a hack on a circularly linked set of servers caused a crash
    • Fixed the end of the Prank War quest chain
    • Fixed a bug causing negative stats which are talents to not apply (move speed, attack speed, etc)
    • Fixed an issue causing Finality to be a level lower than it should have been, preventing difficulty progression

    Shadowforge - Gibi
    When you CTRL + W and press on the text there, it will no longer make you draw on the canvas.

    Pressing on the R, G or B slider will not make your lassoed part move to that direction. Further more, when you use the R, G, or B feature, it will make everything more or less R, G and B on everything but not on your lassoed part.



    Now when you're drawing, the sprite on your cursor will be outlined with full opacity.
