As announced in the last patch, I haven't had as much time to work on Andalia in the recent weeks, which is why it's taken a bit longer for this new patch to get ready and wrapped up.
Nevertheless here are a number of gameplay improvements, largely based on feedback by other people who've played the game and found various minor things that could be improved upon.
And these are the new features:
Targetformation - Rotation:
Now it's possible to rotate the target formation of selected units. This is achieved by keeping the right mouse button pressed while hovering over the target area.
The positioning of units in the rectangle formation has also been slightly improved: The last row in the formation is now centered.
Construction - Enqueueing:
If you keep shift pressed while placing a new building, the building menu is now kept open and you can continue placing further buildings without retracting your workers from their current construction.
Moreover, when builders have completed constructing a building, they will search for further buildings to be constructed in a larger radius than before. Both of these things together now allow you to conveniently enqueue several constructions.
Wallplacement - Improvements:
The placement of new walls has been improved to allow players to position wall pieces in proximity of the map border. Previously this has been very difficult if not impossible.
Minimap - Marks:
Now it's possible to put marks on the mini map to inform your allies about points of relevance.
While the flag serves only to mark general locations of interest (only relevant for multiplayer games), the crossing swords can be used to let your allied AI players prioritize a certain enemy player when launching their next offensive. The AI player might even launch an offensive on the marked player right away, if it has got at least 2/3 of the combat strength it would otherwise need to start an offensive.
AI players who start an (self-initialized) offensive will also put an attack mark on the player it wants to attack.
Unittype - Symbols:
All unit icons have gotten a symbol in their upper left corner to help players recognizing the role and function of the unit more easily.
Bug fixes:
The Golem Repair - ability of the mountain dwarves is functional again.
The white screen overlay of the Ingame Menu is back after getting broken in a recent update.
Little explosive boxes, enemies with hidden mechanics and more! This devlog is filled with enemy content and all relevant tech stuff behind it. So be prepared for this very special devlog!
The old map didn't allow for the concept of enemies due to its design. With Tower Mode, entirely new areas have emerged that allow the placement of enemies. In today's devlog, I talk about all the enemies that will exist in the tower. In fact, I think this is where most of the work has gone in.
2022-05-27 - Fourth content release for early access
We are releasing a new chapter with this weekly update, a trip back to the sewers, this time it's not about finding a way through for the heroes, but a way through for all of Repentance. You will find the beginnings of short stories in certain chapters, I will leave it to you to figure out which.
Unfortunately this release will reset your saved progress :(
Expect to see more chapters released next Friday.
NEW
"Elle's rituals", quotes on the menu screen talking about our kickstarter backers in a cool way
Chapter six: Route through the Sewers
Angry Wraith event in Chapter: Will to Power
CHANGE
Replaced the cutscene preceding chapter two, it is really nice :)
Background music now reacts to low hope
Comic book page layout now adapts to number of facets
Adapted the chapter overview so that it now only shows nine chapters
BUGFIX
Negative offense on character facets is no longer possible
Some events did not have sound effects or ambience
Facet stats only apply when event response allows it, but introduced in the last release
When a response was clicked the game would sometimes not allow facets time to return
It's finally here! Out There: Oceans of Time has launched and you can commence your journey in T-Minus 3...2...1…
We thank everyone for their patience and support on getting Out There: Oceans of Time, out there! This has been a long journey but we couldn't have done it without you and we are excited to see you get involved in our communities on Twitter, Discord and Steam!
If the standard edition isn't enough, allow us to present the CELESTIAL EDITION - which comes with two exclusive skins (the Celestial Suit for Commander Nyx, and the Celestial Livery for your Vanguard ship), an exclusive Wallpaper Pack, AND the original soundtrack by Siddhartha Barnhoorn award-winning composer (also available on iTunes, Bandcamp and Spotify)
UPDATE
We are aware the title screen currently says "beta" but the current version is not beta but the full game. It is something we will remove in our next patch. Thank you for your patience!
About Out There: Oceans of Time
As the successor to the award-winning Out There, Oceans of Time blends roguelike, resource management and interactive fiction for a space survival epic where death is one wrong decision away. As Commander Nyx, you’ll explore a vast galaxy that is different every time you play, as you search for the Archon; a cosmic villain set on dominating the civilisations of the galaxy.
“Out There: Oceans Of Time might be the next great space RPG.” Gfinity
“Overall, the visuals took an overhaul, almost on par with an AAA game.” Turn-based Lovers
“I think it’s a real gem that’s worth keeping an eye on. Mi-Clos is clearly passionate about the sci-fi genre, and it shows in Oceans Of Time‘s gorgeous universe.” NME

Crazy amount of new stuff added in just two weeks :). Mostly related to team communication and better battlefield situation awareness.
New announcer voice added
Announcer has a new voice + much more announcements including:
flag cap/returned/lost
minutes remaining
kills/caps left
triple/quad/... kills
and more!
The announcer is now a very useful feature, because he informs you about what is happening with the flags etc. But of course, it can be turned off in the settings.
Team chat added
Press [T] and then [TAB] to switch between team/all channels. (also can be triggered with ^ eg. "^ffc low!")
New screen border icons
Added a new player icon, flag carrier icon and dead player icon. Also the farther the flag or player is the larger the icon is, so you can determine the distance.
Radio voice commands added
Press [G] + key shortcuts. The command will show for your team only - in chat, on top of your gostek + will be voiced with sound by a very famous Vietnam veteran :)
The default keys and radio messages can be customized in the game settings.
Here is a useful cheat sheet of the default layout. (It's best to memorize it!)
New outlines + team colored outlines
I was skeptical at first but team outlines work great! Most importantly they remove restrictions for player colors (except other team color). I think this brings more character to the gosteks!
Also flag has a glow when safe in base. Grenade has an outline and team color in addition to the team colored bullets.
New map by proto
A great original map with emphasis on team-play has been added:

WHAT'S NEXT?
Still some bugs in ranked and with nade/rocket sync. I have to tackle those. Other than that some big additions are coming, but I have to think about what comes first and I'll announce then.
