This is a special pack that includes many items such as decor items and recovery items. It also contains four deco items from the Tales of Series collaboration!

Welcome to the first pre-release Exodemic patch notes. These will be brief summaries that I'll try to publish for each new build. Leading up to release, I anticipate most of these changes to either be around game balance, bugfixes, or improved user onboarding. Without further-ado here's the summary of the incoming changes:
Balance
Legendary piercing reduced 10 -> 5
Hyper shot now also increases weapon recharge rate
Scrap now lasts 7s instead of 6s on Easy difficulty
Across the board changes to item costs, in general things are more expensive now
Players now start with 75 scrap on Easy, and 50 scrap on Medium
Mechanic encounter cost increased from 25 -> 50
Bugfixes
Fixed bug where all ships would start with 3 health
Fixed bug where multiple augments could be selected/dragged if you clicked in the middle
Fixed bug where button on map scene would sometimes hide part of the map
Fixed occasional crash during map generation
You can no longer take damage at the end of Combat
Other
Jump point on encounters changed from blue to yellow
The servers will undergo maintenance on Wednesday (tomorrow), May 25, 2022 starting at 18:30 server time (6:30PM PST). We anticipate the maintenance to last approximately 30mins to 1 hour

New Carnation Blossom Events
Carnation Flowers Events will start dropping via PVP and PVM in all maps.
Collect 4 Carnation + a Ribbon to craft a Carnation Bouquet rewards
Collect 4 Carnation Bouquet to craft a Carnation Large Bouquet for a chance to get more rewards
Fahrenheit Piece PVP Drop Event
Fahrenheit Pieces will start dropping for Rebirth 6 to Rebirth 12 PVP
Collect 4 Fahrenheit (3 different % Types) to for a chance to craft a Fahrenheit Jade.
New Mount Update:

Cherry Blossom Items will no longer drop via PVP and PVM in all maps
Cherry Blossom Chest via Black Smith NPC will no longer be active
Note that Cherry Blossom event items will be discarded especially "Cherry Blossom” items with the event ending tomorrow after server maintenance.

As a part of today's update, two new-game modes have been added.
Speedrun or Die
In this game-mode, your primary goal is to get through the game as fast as possible, or face the consequences.
Features
All items are set to "Very Common".
The longer you take, the more NPCs that spawn, and the more frequently they do.
NPC spawns are random, and could be either the Thug, Crackhead, or Manager.
Everything else is exactly the same.
This game-mode is intended for players who know the game in-and-out, including the locations in which the homeless people spawn, where items generally spawn, etc. Lack of game knowledge equals guaranteed failure. Taking longer than about a minute and a half to speed through the game will make it extremely hard to beat.
Realistic Mode
Ever wondered how Surreal Experience would play out if your ran at a normal speed and things were a bit more normal in general?
Features
Walking/running speeds of the player, as well as all NPCs have been divided by 2.
Homeless people now move around at a random speed and in random directions as opposed to standing completely still.
The Manager is slightly nerfed in this mode.
It is slightly harder to lose the Thug.
Items that cannot normally be used towards the end of the game can now be used at any time.
This mode is primarily intended for players who prefer slower paced games, and also really just to demonstrate how the game would look if it weren't for the crazy speed that all the other modes have. That being said, with these adjustments, it brings its own unique set of difficulties to the table, which may require you to take a different strategy than what is effective in the other modes.
These modes are a bit more abstract than the ones found in the previous update, so have fun with them! Additionally, there are 2 more achievements to be unlocked for completing them. Good luck, and have fun!
Next Update
This concludes the addition of any new game-modes for the foreseeable future. Work will now go towards finishing the second level of the game, which will take about 2-3 months to finish. I'll be leaking some information about it probably next month or so. Additionally, I will be focusing my attention towards optimizing the game to achieve higher frame rates as well as fixing some bugs/providing some quality of life improvements.
Bug fixes: - Avatars would wander because the waypoints were not clearing properly - Avatars would run in circles - Chiba avatars walked excessively slowly - Dancefloor position editor caused errors
New Features: - Love emote now makes the avatars prefer dance spots near the people they loved
