The Outnumbered Games Dev team is psyched for DISRUPTION in Steam's Summer Next Fest entry starting on June 13th, 2022. And for those of you players with a critical eye, here's where you can help our Dev Team with your astute eye to gameplay, detail and overall quality.
The DISRUPTION Demo
The demo currently consists of an Introduction and (4) abbreviated levels (not necessarily in order) from Act I of the game.
Rooftop Raid
Watch Your Step
Nowhere to Run
Subway Station
This is essentially the same demo structure as we will be featuring in Next Fest, so playtesters are getting access before everyone else on June 13th.
Items Dev are focusing on for this playtest
Show stopping bugs
Controller Responsiveness
Gameplay Flow
Lighting and color
Weapon load-outs
General Impressions
Not so critical as we're already working on tuning these
General collider issues
Occlusion culling issues
Your Feedback is Important to Us

Dear friends, update 1.0.1 has been published. New features added, modifications made based on user feedback.
User interface
The settings section is divided into several sub-sections with a small number of controls in each of them.
The number of varieties of indicators that appear on the screen has been reduced, and their number itself has been reduced.
The Target indicators have become uniform and stand out well.
Load counter became more proportional to the longest possible intervals of loading scenes.
Axis control inversion is now possible.
The end of an episode is now announced not only by a log entry, but also by a special splash screen.
Fixed wrong localizations of some dialog lines and journal entries.
Fixed empty hints.
Launch options
All aspect ratios and screen resolutions are now possible. Note that you still should not run the game at a horizontal resolution less than 1600.
Running in windowed mode and switching between windowed and screened modes is now possible.
Gameplay
The game now more actively instructs the user about the current task and how to perform it, highlighting the right places in the location, setting goal and exit indicators from the level, especially in the first chapters.
At the beginning, the user is shown how to change control sensitivity without going to the main menu.
In the first chapter, the number of turrets now depends on the difficulty level: there are no turrets on Easy, on Normal 2 and on Heavy 3.
Reduced the number of enemies in the infection ward.
Thanks to everyone who helped with their feedback and support to get this update out!

This week we'll be showcasing and testing the following updates we recently made:
Running Boots More testing with Running Boots, fixed some visual bugs and added a toggle.

Player start location changes We made changes to how player start locations work, we'll be testing around with those as well!
GDEX/Origins is June 9th-12th, we will be there with Super Dungeon Designer so swing by our booth to check it out!
We'll be interacting with the chat so feel free to come chat with us and share any questions or suggestions you might have about the game.
