Thanks for your support and we’re super excited to show off all of our hard work!
This week I've been doing a lot of 'under the hood' stuff. As the menu system is a bit convoluted in Pictoglyph, I've been testing to make sure the player can't click the wrong thing at the wrong time and crash the game. I've also been working on the save system etc.
I will be doing a 2nd pass of the art assets soon - this means the Steam page will be updated - I'm hoping to to add some nice gifs to show off the game and hopefully explain the concept visually a bit better.
Hello Mages, A new version of the closed Beta is available.
v0.1.3 - 2022.05.22
# Changelog : ## Features : - Add sound FX on various spells - Add sound FX on booster pack opening - Minor additions of sound FX - Sound and music volume can now be set separately - It's now possible to use capital letters and spaces in deck names - You can now see the content of a bundle in the shop - An icon for new cards now appears in the collection after opening a booster pack
## Bugfix : - Losing or winning in the tutorial does not make you gain influence anymore - After unlocking a regular card from the collection, the new price displayed was for a black and gold card. It's now fixed. - Dropdown lists in settings have been fixed - Setting volume now works - In the main menu, "Settings" and "Bug report" buttons are now working correctly - An action of the opponent sending a card to the discard pile sometimes blocked the game after the turn ended. This resolution should prevent quite a lot of issues that happened in the previous version - Effects targeting the discard pile are now working - "Surging wave" now plays its sound FX correctly - Clicking repeatedly on booster packs opening could cause visual bugs. It's now fixed. Cards acquired were correctly added to the collection.
## Known issues (work in progress) : - Permanents with "Protector" can sometimes freeze the game - Sometimes when opening a booster pack, cards would not appear and you have to quit the game and start it again. Cards acquired are still added to your collection properly. - Some spells can let ghost cards appear on the board of the opponent

Hello Pioneers! Todays post will be short and sweet but we still wanted to keep you all in the loop. For the past two weeks we've been making a lot of invisible progress such as fixing bugs, improving our networking solution and just really catching up on a lot of technical debt.
Here is a list of some of the things we've been working on:
Improved positioning of player status icons
Made the hotbar scrollable and only selects occupied slots for faster equipping
Players now sync properly in multiplayer
Multiplayer now validates server versions
Implemented a settings menu
Added new sound effects
Began using the new basic character model setup
Beyond this we're still working on the new animation system but it is finally approaching feature parity with the old system.
Screenshot of the new modular character, don't mind the lack of clothes for now!
Once the new system is in we will do an investigation into some technical aspects that we think could increase performance for players as well as simplify our development efforts, but more on that another time :)
Swapped the controls for turning and movement to be consistent with other VR titles
Sprinting is now bound to the lower face button on the right controller as a result of the above change
UI Interactions are now bound to the right trigger to be consistent with other VR titles
UI
Resized the elements in the elements in the main menu to be consistent.
Reposition the text in the settings menu to be more visual correct
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where you couldn't toggle between the different sections of the Settings Menu
Developer Comments This patch is meant to be a small quality of life update and make the game's controls feel more consistent with other VR titles. I hope these controls feel better for everyone who downloads and know that I plan on doing more to improve them in the distant future!
Thank you to everyone who played and left a review!
