New Mode: Weekly Escape. A new weekly refreshed play-mode where everybody has equal chances. Each player will traverse the same map, the same enemies doing the same moves and the same items and upgrades to find at the crafting station.
New Mindset: Ruthless. Not yet thoroughly tested, I would love to get some feedback on this mindset. Her '1000 Fists' ability has huge damage potential and it is complemented by her two other high mobility capabilities.
A new update has been installed on the game servers. In this patch, you will find thematic contracts and a pack of bug fixes. Most importantly, we have fixed several vulnerabilities that interfered with competitive gameplay.
Two new contracts with the previously released agent's content will soon become available in the game. Be sure to complete all the tasks and replenish your arsenal with cool novelties! Below, you can find more information on the contracts.

Sometimes the "Profile" tab shows an empty screen if the player has reached prestige levels. To fix the issue, restart the game client.

IMBEL IA2 Assault
The IMBEL IA2 Assault is an assault rifle adopted by the Brazilian Army to replace the outdated FN FAL and M16A2. The novelty offers very unusual specs for a weapon of its class — it deals a very high damage, but has a quite low rate of fire.
The arm is a perfect fit for sharpshooters as it is very likely to kill enemies with just a couple of shots. In addition, the rifle is equipped with a unique grenade launcher, which will definitely help you out in a pinch.
V3 TAC-13
The V3 TAC-13 is a new shortened semi-automatic rifle from Remington. In terms of the in-game specs, the closest competitor to the V3 TAC-13 is the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3. The novelty differs from its counterpart thanks to an increased damage and a larger magazine capacity, but has a reduced range and rate of fire.
The golden version features an even more spacious magazine.

We are in the process of making a free DLC for the next map, this one will bring the old circus map, it is much more extensive and could please the players once they finish the current one.

Barotrauma modding documentation
Along with the modding refactor included in the Urban Expanses update, we promised more comprehensive documentation about modding Barotrauma. This documentation is released only in English to keep our workload manageable, and it is semi-automatically generated and in places quite technical. Even then, we’re hopeful many of you, particularly the more ambitious modders, will find it helpful.
In addition to the more finicky details, the new documentation includes the pre-existing Character Editor and Submarine Editor guides, and the latter has also been updated and expanded a little bit. In other words, all our official modding guides will now be found in one place: here on GitHub.

In this update Dead Event really got straightened out it's not perfect but it's getting there one miracle at a time. Big shoutout to Chaotic-Reaper_ from the community for finding a issue that was unknown and severe with the server. So turns out when I upgraded the server through the server hosting company to give us more memory, something happened when they migrated the data and all of the files and data got corrupted and the server wouldn't start, it was just ruined beyond fixing. I stayed up for almost 2 days straight trying to not wipe and fix it. But no luck even a few server engineers couldn't make it work again. It is what it is... but we did plan on a wipe eventually anyways. So while it's still early access I decided to do the wipe now considering it's nowhere close to release. But don't worry, with this event ALL previous events activated by Alkazair so you will be able to get all that exclusive event loot +200% Growth Experience Bonus. With the new recent changes to max level from 1000 to 32000 AND your Heirlooms from buying the game in early access, leveling to level 1000 is faster than ever! So take advantage while you can! Event ends 7/11/2022. This was a good time to wipe because I switched hosting providers to provide a clean start and we will be gaining lots of new players during the event. There will be no wipe before full release everything will carry over at that time. I want this to be our last wipe ever. I plan on adding over 100+ playable creatures, more dungeons, colony wars, ranking system and new maps and more to make the game better. Event named after one of our community members Alkazair for coming up with this event idea. Thank you so much for supporting the game and creating an item. (You can create your own item by supporting the game on Patreon) The all powerful Alkazair arrived on the planet, carrying the crystalized flame. Alkazair's Crystalized Flame is so strong it opened portals to the past and let all the past events back into the world. All previous events activated by Alkazair. Partake in exclusive loot, quests, cosmetics and +200% experience bonus and Alkazair's Crystalized Flame super rare item drop chances are increased from 1% to 5% from boss monsters and regular dungeon monsters. Alkazair's Crystalized Flame Item gives great stats and a cosmetic aura:

Placed a cooldown on creature creation to reduce data usage - make a creature - play for a little bit - you'll be able to make another creature by exiting back to the creation. If it wont let you make a character just play a existing creature and go back into the menu and try again or exit the game and retry. I might change this later its a beta test.
Reworked the sky to be better.
Reworked the lighting to be not so dark.
Reworked the fog to not be so foggy.
Changed training dummy's in town from giving 1 to 25 experience per damage (less effective than normal damage).
Changed the day and night cycle from 30 mins to 60 mins for a full day.

Reworked hitbox for Crystal Sorceress dungeon monster.
