Empire-Specific Anti-Materiel Rifles
New Anti-Materiel Rifles are now available for each faction. With long-range optics and damage models befitting longer-range engagements, these rifles add a deadly new angle to your Engineer's toolkit.
DAGR-81 (Terran Republic) - An infantryman's answer to long-range vehicle opposition, with a quick rechamber and large magazine for sustained fire.
VX4-3 Slicer (Vanu Sovereignty) - This anti-materiel rifle delay-fires a plasma blade that rips through organic material on its way to striking heavily armored targets.
LA60 Masthead (New Conglomerate) - A hard-hitting anti-materiel rifle that deploys a flak payload when dealing with aircraft.
NE-36 Linecutter (Nanite Systems Operatives) - In addition to a balanced magazine, reload, and damage, this anti-materiel rifle can also prevent MAX units and infantry deployables from receiving repairs.
Infantry Balance
NS-AM7 Archer
Hipfire CoF bloom from 0.6 to 1.
ADS CoF bloom from 1 to 0.6.
ADS movement speed multiplier from 0.75x to 0.5x.
Dev Note: With the increased power provided by the last major update, this weapon's ADS mobility is higher than it needed to be. The Black Market Shortbow has kept this trait, however. The CoF value adjustments are mainly an error correction between the two firing states.
Directives
A new Exceptional VI directive line has been added. Much of the weapons offered in the Legacy update, including the new "Apex" weapons, contribute to this directive's progress.
Anti-Materiel Rifle kills have been added as an option to the Engineer's Directive line.
Fixed an issue where Spitfire Auto-Turret and Anti-Vehicle Mana Turrets could not allow Engineer directive progress, or show as disabled.
User Interface
Main Navigation Menu
The Main Nav Menu has received many updates based on player feedback.
We've moved the Settings, Support, and Codex buttons out of the dropdown menu and into the lower-right hand corner; currencies are now readily visible in the upper-right area without a dropdown; and the logout button now prompts you to either return to the character select screen, or exit the game entirely. Many reported bugs have been resolved and refinements have been made as well.
Additionally, you can now bind a hotkey that will bring up the Settings menu.
HUD Indicator Options
As shown in the screenshot above, we've added the option to turn off many of the HUD indicators in the game, and can be seen through its own pane in the Settings menu.
We're currently exploring options for differentiating some of the categories into friend/foe, but until then, many of the game's HUD indicators can be disabled to tailor the amount of on-screen clutter.
Spawn Changes (Likely Temporary)
When we first launched Oshur, we reverted to some legacy spawn rules with a little less restriction than they had. The intention there was to reduce performance overhead, while encouraging more logistical gameplay. With our investigation of the server performance issues ongoing, we'd like to revert back to the legacy ruleset, but with major reductions in the restrictions so that we don't end up in the situation we had with Oshur.
The outcome of these changes is that all of the valid hardspawns on the map will pop at the same time, instead of bringing them online based on the ideal combat zones we'd like to send you to. Vehicle spawn points will activate slightly faster. Ideally this would provide some information for us, and a more performant server for all of you while we continue our investigation.

We have released a new version of Kirac's Vault Pass that contains unique item skin rewards that are exclusive to this league! Each of these rewards visually interacts with gameplay in some way and will leave the store forever when the Sentinel League ends. After purchasing the pass, you can earn its rewards in the Atlas endgame by completing map objectives. Check out this post for more information!
Check out this video to see the rewards you can earn:
Purchase your pass, unlock access to Kirac's Vault, and complete Atlas objectives to earn up to eight exclusive unique item skins. You'll earn your first reward upon entering the Karui Shores, after defeating Kitava. You'll earn additional rewards by completing sets of map bonus objectives while exploring your Atlas. In Path of Exile: Sentinel, we removed both Vinktar's Square and Doryani's Machinarium from the Atlas, so if you complete the bonus objectives of all 115 maps, you'll have earned all eight available rewards!
These unique item skins don't just provide an alternate appearance for popular end-game items, they also visually interact with your gameplay in new ways. For example, the Intravenous Mageblood skin drains enabled Magic Utility Flasks directly into your bloodstream. The Glacial Hyrri's Ire skin causes enemies chilled by your projectiles to become skewered with shards of crystalline ice. The Mystic Void Battery skin changes the look of your Power Charges and the force within your Void Battery grows as your maximum number of Power Charges increases. To be clear, the unique item skins you can earn are entirely cosmetic and do not convey any gameplay advantage. You still need to acquire the actual unique item they apply to.
To purchase your pass, press M in-game to access the store, then click the Kirac's Vault banner.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I purchase the Pass and track my progress through it?
On the Atlas screen, there's a new Kirac's Vault Pass icon at the top left. Clicking that will let you buy the pass, see the rewards and travel to Kirac's Vault.
How do I claim my rewards?
The Pass has a progress bar that tracks how many bonus objectives of maps on the atlas you have completed. Once you have unlocked a cosmetic unique item skin, you can click a button on the Pass screen to travel directly to Kirac's Vault, where a chamber containing that reward will unlock for you to claim.
Once claimed, the cosmetic unique item skins are stored in your microtransaction stash, alongside your existing microtransactions.
Do I get anything right away for buying the Pass?
Yes. The first reward, the Phantasmal Rumi's Concoction skin, is available to claim as soon as you purchase the Pass, providing you are able to access the Karui Shores (at the end of the campaign) in order to enter Kirac's Vault.
As you have likely already completed a lot of map bonus objectives in the Sentinel leagues by now, there are probably more cosmetic skins that will immediately unlock after you purchase the Pass.
Is this pay-to-win in any way?
No. Access to Kirac's Vault and its cosmetic skins offer no gameplay advantage over other players.
Do I need to have bought the Pass before I complete my Atlas? Is there a penalty for just waiting until near the end of the league and buying it then?
No. The Pass costs the same amount regardless of how many objectives you have already completed, and the relevant rewards will unlock instantly if you buy the Pass after completing objectives. There's no penalty for delaying your purchase until later in the league, though you'll need to purchase it before the league ends.
I'd like to earn some microtransactions without having to pay. Is there a free Pass?
We recently bolstered Path of Exile's existing challenge system with additional free microtransactions that can be earned by completing challenges.
Can I pay more money to unlock rewards that I have not been able to unlock through gameplay?
You can't pay to unlock rewards (other than the first one, which comes with the Pass). Everyone you see with one of the unique item skins from Kirac's Vault will have completed the bonus objectives required to earn it.
Does the Pass give you the unique items that you need in order to be able to wear the skins?
No. Kirac's Vault provides you with no form of gameplay advantage or power. You must separately find the unique items that correspond to your cosmetic skins in order to be able to wear them.
Is the Pass available for Standard players?
No. At this stage it is only available to players in the current challenge league because many Standard players can instantly unlock their whole Atlas by completing a single map.
Will I have access to my cosmetic unique item skins in Standard or future leagues?
Yes. Any skins earned during this league will be available account-wide and can be equipped to any character you make in any league, as long as it uses that unique item.
Can I equip these unique item skins to other unique items than the one they are intended for?
No. They are designed to visually augment the special properties of the unique item that they reskin. For example, the Sanguine Arakaali's Fang skin summons demonic spiders. This wouldn't make sense to apply to other unique daggers because those daggers don't have the ability to summon spiders.
Are the Pass or its cosmetic unique item skins available after this league ends?
No. The Pass can only be purchased during this league and its cosmetic unique item skins are exclusive to this Pass. They will not be available again. If you want to have them in your collection forever, you must purchase the Pass this league and complete the objectives for any skins that you want.
In the future we may release different cosmetic unique item skins for the same unique items.
What happens if I'm playing in multiple Sentinel leagues? Which league does the Pass track progress from?
The pass tracks your highest Atlas progress from any Sentinel league you are playing in (including private leagues based on Sentinel).
How did you choose these unique items to reskin?
This is a Pass for end-game characters who are able to complete the bonus objectives of their Atlas, so we picked iconic "meta" uniques that top players are likely to use in their builds. We also wanted to experiment with these being more than just simple reskins - each one has special visual effects that interact with the core theme of each unique item.
These skins are exclusive to this Pass, but we will continue to pick iconic and powerful unique items to make skins for in future Passes (which could include additional skins for some of the unique items covered by this Pass).
Will the Kirac's Vault Pass be released on Console platforms?
Absolutely. Due to certification it may lag behind the PC version by a little bit, depending on the platform, but will be out soon!
To purchase your pass, press M in-game to access the store, then click the Kirac's Vault banner.
