We've listened carefully to our player feedback and have overhauled Summoners Fate with an all-new UI and gameplay features to deliver an amazing experience that we hope will become your new favorite go-to game to satisfy your RPG, tabletop and roguelike adventure needs.
New Demo Available through May 10th
During Steam's Going Rogue Festival you can play our new extended demo build featuring both a tutorial mission that will teach you the ropes as well as the first chapter of Adventure mode. This comes to over an hour of gameplay. Plus, you can unlock an additional character and replay the demo to discover new cards and deck synergies. Why not check it out and start hurling some squirrels at the Liche King?
Dev Gameplay Streams
In addition, I'll be hosting a few developer streams so you can check out some of the additional content that's in store for you when we release the game. Over six years of blood, sweat, tears and a lot of love have gone into the making of Summoners Fate, and I can't wait to share our latest update with you.
Our first stream starts tomorrow at 8:00AM -> 12:00PM MT. I'll personally be playing the game and answering any questions you have in our chat channel here on Steam.
I can't say for certain that we may (most definitely will) get to attend a goblin birthday party :)
It has been another big month in the world of Untamed Isles. The Easter Guppy dropped a few treats for tamers including new merch, new combat updates, and some new content drops. Let’s get right into some of the exciting development updates.
Power Swapping: Every battle you have 3 power swaps, allowing you to swap out a tame and use a move from the new tame in the same turn.
Wild Card Moves: Each tame has three base moves that can be unlocked with just one limb. These moves don’t require building a stack to use.
Stat Allocation: For further customization of your tames, you can now allocate attack, special attack, defense, special defense, and agility stats to create the perfect build.
Tames Designed By You
This month we designed two new tames with the community. The Bull Tame (name undecided) had its moveset designed over livestream. This livestream resulted in a taunt-heavy, armoured, retaliating tame. Bull Tame is one to watch for! Watch the video here.
Next our community was put to the task of visually designing a brand new Monkey Tame (name undecided). Picture an adorable and wise tamarin monkey and you’ve got the idea!
Player & NPCs
NPC fans rejoice! We made huge progress on our NPCs including completing rival NPCs and rogue faction NPCs. Pirate and hunter faction NPCs are currently in progress.
Big updates have also been made on the character customizer and new clothing items for tamers are also being produced.
New Merch
You asked and we answered. New merch has now been added to the store with unique tames designs: shirts, hoodies, stickers and more. The Pocket Tame Collection features pocket-sized chibi versions of your favourite tames. The Spring Collection features adorable flowery tame designs.
You like video games, we like video games, let’s catch up! Some of our team members from the studio have partnered up on a new project, The Phat Chat Podcast. We discuss the state of video games, retro games, the MMO industry and more.
And more
There are some more updates from our Programming, Art and Music teams. We all appreciate your interest in Untamed Isles and want to provide you the most transparent and detailed updates possible. Thanks for being with us!
Continuing on the previous article, let's analyze the hidden logic behind this deck’s auxiliary cards and runes!
As you remember, the "Stab" card were used as the main source for dealing damage. Therefore, the whole deck was built around it, and, naturally, around enhancing its "Combo" effect (+1 damage this turn to all Combo cards for using a Combo card).
Let us check other Combo cards first!
Falcon Drop — adds 6 points to the Combo stack needed for the Stab cards. It also has Retain effect, allowing this card to stay in hand till the right time comes.
Hardened. The card adds 5 points to Combo, while its Innate feature ensures that the card appears in hand at the start of each combat.
Catalyst — apart from dealing instant damage, Stabs now apply additional delayed damage from Poison. After several rounds, the damage caused by Poison will be double of the Stabs.
Above are cards that can directly increase damage dealt by Stab cards.
What about cards that could be boosted by playing Stab cards?
"Stab" cards feature: 0 cost, large amount, damage increase through Combo effect. So, it affects cards that apply damage/effects based on the number of cards played this turn:
Throat Lock — each time a card is played, additional 8 points are added to the Poison stack.
Execution — deal 10 points damage for every Attack card played this turn.
They both have their timing tactics. Throat Lock suits best for the beginning of the turn when your hand is not yet formed, and gives a DoT boost to your strategy. Execution, on the other hand, shows better performance when it is played later. This card has more strict conditions than the first one, BUT it can use Strength bonus. Plus, it works well together with Keely’s Initial Talent Demon Hand — additional 4 damage points each time an enemy receives unblocked damage.
However, both cards have the same setback — they don’t have Retain effect, causing them to be somewhat “situational”.
The rest of the auxiliary cards in this deck use similar logic.
Next, let's talk about the choice of Runes!
Dispel Rune — This player uses it at its fullest. We've heard some players complaining about certain enemy’s buffs being too powerful. Yet, they tend to ignore ways to dispel these buffs. So, here we are, and I will say it one more time: Dispel Rune deals no damage, BUT its functionality is AWESOME!
Transmute Rune — it works best when attached to Backflow, which makes a huge deck more flexible. Transmute Rune allows you to take a card from the Exhaust pile, and Backflow — take one card from the Discard pile.
Healing Rune — it is also a relatively powerful card. The game’s healing resources are very scarce, so this stable HP recovery card is just like a guarding angel.

Thank you for your feedback and words of support, we're glad you enjoy Dreamvibe! Here is a new patch with improvements according to your feedback:
There was an issue in a previous build that caused the Basic blade to use Slicer blade collisions. In some cases, this caused the blade to go through the notes. Now it's fixed.
Collisions for both types of blades have been adjusted to allow players to move more freely.
Adjusted the resistance of the Slicer blade to make it more controllable.
Added a mew map - Dimension.
Available for both Basic and Slicer blades.
Increased the maximum number of notes per second in the Editor from 3 to 10. It should feel like there is no limit, while still preventing the game from crashing.
A non-maintenance store download patch has been applied to the iOS version of MIR4 after the completion of the iOS review, to adapt the non-applied patches that were excluded from the Update Maintenance conducted on May 3rd (Tue).
[Patch Details] - Fixed the issue of getting kicked out to the title page while proceeding with the 'The Lost Tome' mystery. - Fixed the translation issue of 'Celestial Lord Kang Shirim' mystery which showed Clue 6 with a language different from the set language.
※ Dragonians who are using iOS need to update their game version through the store after ending the game perfectly.
We will always do our best to provide a stable gaming environment.
