Hope everyone had a great weekend. I just wanted to push another patch update out the door to address a couple of new and old issues. With some new reports and new data I was able to find and fix a couple of issues related to settings as well as power conduits. Be sure to take a look at the release notes below.
What’s Next?
With the Phone Home update released, I’ve been planning out the next content release. As shown on the roadmap the next content update will focus on an overhaul to the new game interface. This will add various starting options to control your gameplay experience. Further details about this and other content in development will be coming in the next developer log so stay tuned 🙂
Thanks for reading and for the great feedback and reports. 🙂
Release Notes
Added “Disable Conduit Top Down View” to control settings. When enabled this will disable the camera view from auto switching to a top down view when entering water or power conduit mode.
Fixed: Resolution setting resets to 640×480 when opening settings window in some instances
Fixed: Haul request data not loaded correctly from save game for launch pad rocket construction. This causes the rocket to not receive all materials if loaded from save game in some instances.
Fixed: Electric power networks not being rebuilt correctly when adding/removing conduits in some instances. This caused various power network issues including, but not limited to, objects getting power when they shouldn’t, objects not getting power when they should, total power amount generated/used showing incorrectly and flickering power.
Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation - lmercure
We are sorry to announce that Tales from Candlekeep : Tomb of Annihilation will become unavailable for purchase on May 20th 2022.
While it will no longer be possible to acquire the game or any of the additional content on that date, players who have the game in their Steam library will still be able to play it and enjoy all of its content.
Grab all the content before it leaves the store. The base game is now 85% off while all the additional content is 60% until the end of the week.
The game is in early access mode. Level 1 and 2 are great examples of the bar that I'll be hitting. Level 3 and 4 are still rough, but laid out. Level 5 is still trash.
BUT! You can beat the game, start to finish. Is it fun? NOPE, but you might have fun doing it. Playing early builds and seeing how things change are always fun. :D
Anyway, here is the formal list....
Title has a voice over clip for the game!
New trailer plays on the title screen
First Tabs NPC encounter is now forced
Companions help out in combat, starting at level 3 (lava level)
They’ll knock off enemies that grab you
Lava level was completely redone
New loading screens for lava level
Issac boss fight was heavily polished
Valuna was completely redone
Charge jump was re-worked
Game Over screen handles Tabris as active companion
YOU CAN NOW PET ALMA
Leto can now emote in cutscenes - scared, for example
Huge memory performance changes - all bullets, explosions, and pickups are in the object pool
Multiple cutscenes and dialog updated
Dozens of small bug and dialog fixes
Bug Fix - Enemies spawn when you get a Game Over
Bug Fix - Game Over Screen and moving under the screen
Bug Fix - Layering the Pause menu over dialog
As always, you can find me in the Discord. Enjoy! - Summer

Not quite the change of image we had hoped for this week!
Welcome to yet another weekly update!
For those new here, we post weekly updates with the goal of being completely transparent with our progress. Comments are open to everyone and we would love to hear your thoughts!
So What's New?
Since we're back to our old tradition, let's start by covering our goals from last week to see how we did:
#Discussions_QuoteBlock_Author
Plans for Week 17
Task
ETA
Finish designing the upgrades store
Week 17 Week 18
Table shows up-to-date progress along with ETA for active targets, if any.
We did not make as much progress as we had hoped we would. Designing the store is taking longer than expected and the goal has been pushed back to next week.
More Details
Not a lot of details this time around. We failed to hit our weekly target last week.
Our target was an ambitious one, especially considering the changes as of late and the vacation just being over. We still hope we can finish the store by the end of May, but this failure to keep up with the schedule does make it (even more) challenging.
Plans for Week 18

Week 18
Table shows next week's targets.
We had hoped to be able to show you something new this week at least, but due to our failure to keep up with our schedule, the pizzazz will be pushed to next week. ːsteamfacepalmː
That's it for this week!
Want to keep track of our progress? Check out this post on our Steam discussion forums, it has a lot more details on what we hope to accomplish and by when we hope to be done, including monthly targets!
