In April, Myth of Empires released Season Servers, igniting the fervor of competitive players all over the world. With the advent of May, what new content will come to the game, and what sorts of events will be held for the May Day holiday? Let’s take a look.

Astral Platform: Experience an Ancient Legend
Ancient Taoist legends tell of lanterns capable of extending one’s life or summoning spirits. This legend has made its way into Myth of Empires in the form of the Astral Platform, which has a chance of increasing the Life Force of your warriors. However, in order to do so, another warrior will need to be offered as a sacrifice. There is a certain chance of failure, though you can guarantee its success by sacrificing a powerful enough warrior.


Beast Mounts are Coming
Tired of boring, old horses and wagons? Do not fret - Beast Mounts are here. Another new addition to Myth of Empires in May are powerful beasts that can be tamed in unique ways. For instance, a player may use a beehive to attract an Alpha Bear before subduing it. Of course, there is the chance that this effort will fail, and the Alpha Bear will ferociously attack the player! For the Wild Wolf, the player will need to fish it out of its lair…
Upon taming these beasts, they can be ridden as mounts. Of course, future updates will have additional Beast Mounts, including boars, and more.


New Furniture: Bring a Little Refinement to Your Ancient Lifestyle
New furniture will be added in May, including the Canopy Bed, as well as Weapon Stands, Armor Stands, and more. Placing these exquisitely crafted pieces in your home will definitely help spruce up the place.


The “May 1 Limited-time Event” is About to Begin!
Myth of Empires will also hold special limited-time events in commemoration of the May Day holiday:

Event 1: May 1 Limited-time Login Gifts
Event time: 4/30 - 5/6 GMT
Login to normal official servers as well as season servers to get a gift including 100 Exceptional Quenching Essence, 1 Two-handed Farming Sickle (Lv. 100), 1 Makeup Case (Warrior), 5 Precious Weight Capacity Elixirs, 5 Chariot Parts, and more.

Event 2: May 1 Double Harvest Event
Event time: 4/30 - 5/2 GMT
Collection yield will be doubled on official servers.

Event 3: May 1 Double Proficiency Event
Event time: 5/3 – 5/4 GMT
Proficiency rate will be doubled on official servers.

Since the start of Season 1 of Myth of Empires – Season Servers, players have expressed a concern that they will fall behind other players if they don’t play for a day or two. But do not fear - the multipliers continue to increase as the season progresses, allowing players who jump in late or miss a few days to catch up. It’s always a good time to start playing MoE!

This week's update brings a range of rustic decorations to the carpentry bench for creative prospectors.

With 20 new rustic items, you can decorate your base or Outpost and turn it into a lovely home for your time on the surface. There is also a new mission on behalf of the African Assembly requiring these items as they host an event for distinguished VIPs curious about your operations on Icarus.




This week is for interior designers. We’re introducing 20 new items to the new ‘Rustic Decor Crafting Bench’ with a distinct rustic theme for you to decorate your bases and turn them into comfortable homes.

The Rustic Decor Crafting Bench will be unlockable from the Crafting Bench at Tier 2, and all the blueprints will come with it, meaning it will only cost you a single point.

All items will be craftable at Tier 2, however the Statue requires Gold, which can only be forged in a Concrete Furnace at Tier 3. It comes in table-mounted and wall-mounted variations.



To fit out your living area beautiful rustic couches are available in 2 and 3 seater varieties. Adorn the corner with an armchair for elderly prospectors and a coffee table to complete the room. Finally, furnish the space with a lovely rustic cabinet to display your finest achievements.

Your dining room can now become a place of elegance with a beautiful rustic table, round or rectangular, with enough dining chairs to support your crew - or what remains of them. Decorate your table with lovely rustic candles, and cook your bear stew in gorgeous rustic pots. Your dining room will be a place of community and fun after a hard day seeking exotics.

And finally, make your bedroom comfortable by adding a rustic wardrobe and nightstand by your bed before getting some much needed shuteye.

The current default language is Chinese, resulting in some players can not switch the language settings, an update is coming to fix it!

因为很多小伙伴们觉得我们之前的玩法很像出版社的做法，所以我们干脆就把以前的玩法改良了一下，做成了出版社的运营模式。当然因为是模仿我国早期出版模式，所以肯定不会是电脑码字啦，就是手写滴。

但是光有这种模式根本不能让玩家体验到现在写小说的代入感，很多小伙伴可能比较年轻，根本没有经历过那个年代的实体书时代，所以我们绞尽脑汁最后决定，将游戏的玩法体量扩充，以后游戏的正式版将会包含“出版社出版”“线上完本”“线上连载”等玩法。
但是这将意味着我们的游戏体量将会几何倍增加，所以这次重置版本第一版我们暂定只包含“出版社出版”和“线上完本”这两个玩法，“线上连载”将会在重置版上线以后我们再加紧后续制作出来。
以下是“出版社出版”的一些展示图。
此为自费出版，自费出版需要自己承担出版风险，根据评分等数据自己估算售卖份数然后印刷，如果到下架仓库还有多余的书籍，会按照旧书价格折算给你，所以次出版方式推荐熟练写手使用。


此为出版社签约出版，签约出版的书籍虽然获取利润很低，但是没有任何风险，推荐给小白使用。


“线上完本”的玩法还在进一步制作中，我们将会在下一次的进度汇报里展示。
在这段时间里我们不仅进行了玩法的制作和整体的改良，还优化了一些更贴心的设计，比如当你点不到墙背后的物品怎么办？所以，我们设置了高墙和矮墙模式，在矮墙模式下你可以将墙体隐藏起来，能让整体空间更整洁同时更容易操作，以下是展示效果。

Scottie here again with another small update. Hopefully it's the last one as well haha! At least for now...

I've fixed a few issues I've noticed while watching other people play through:

-Fixed certain fish switching spots with others (the Frog and flounder for instance, the frog should only be accessible by casting near the lily pads)
-Fixed issue with dialogue going outside the box for certain speeches.
-Fixed a few more typos
-Adjusted word spacing for the fishopedia

And I think that's it. I apologize to anyone that ran into any troubles or typos. If you point em out, I'll fix em!
