With Game Update 7.0.2, we’re introducing a new functionality to the Outfit Designer: Weapons in Outfitter!



Outfit Designer is a feature we introduced with Game Update 3.2: Rise of the Emperor. This feature allows players to change the appearance of their characters by creating up to 16 outfits using their favorite Armors and switching between them at any time. Since its introduction, several improvements have been made to Outfit Designer, such as preview window updates and, more recently, an improved user interface (UI).

Similar to Armors in Outfitter, Weapons in Outfitter allows players to equip one weapon in the Gear window, which determines the stats applied to their character, and stamp the appearance of another weapon of the same type via the Outfitter window. For example, it is now possible for a player to benefit from the stats of the Stronghold Defender’s Lightsaber but enjoy the Reforged Derelict Lightsaber’s appearance. The weapon in the Outfitter slot (or weapons, for dual-wielding combat styles) also determines the sound and visual effects of your weapon with its unique audio, Color Crystal, and Weapon Tuning.

To use Weapons in Outfitter, open the Character Sheet, select an outfit from the Outfitter tab, and drop in the weapons you want to use in the Weapon slots. For this example, we equipped the Decurion Force-Lord’s Lightsaber in the Weapon slot of the Gear tab and dropped the Dark Honor Guard’s Unstable Lightsaber in the Weapon slot of the Outfitter tab. The character’s weapon now has the appearance of the Dark Honor Guard’s Unstable Lightsaber with the stats of Decurion Force-Lord’s Lightsaber! Once you’re satisfied with your selection, click on the ‘Commit’ button.

And that’s Weapons in Outfitter! Players can check out this new layer of customization today!

The day has come! It's time to open up the proverbial multiplayer flood gates for PCVR players. We've removed the code requirement for unlocking Multiplayer so that can stress all aspects of multiplayer.

Now we still consider Multiplayer Early Access (and its clearly labeled as such in the game) so if you run into connection problems or, well, any problems at all please don't hesitate to drop us an email at support@bitplanetgames.com and don't forget to include details as to what you saw (heck, a video would be even better).

Also, in this update we've added back in the recenter instructions for Index, Vive, and WMR controls.
Reverb players take note the recenter instructions that are shown to you are incorrect (this will be fixed in the next update). To recenter just click on both analog stick buttons simultaneously.

Also, in this update there are two additional Ring Course missions for the Phoenix at Uptown International. We now have a total of 291 missions! Enjoy!

IRON GUARD - oreordaz
Great news! The PC port of IRON GUARD is out today! Now it is not necessary to put on a VR headset to join the adventures of First Officer Graves and smash the robots to smithereens!

And for those who have already purchased IRON GUARD VR, we will soon prepare a bundle in which you can buy the PC version at a discount! Follow the news!

9 Years of Shadows - keking26
Hello everyone! We hope you had a nice Easter holiday for those of you who celebrate it. As you are aware, we enjoy sharing our progress with you in terms of the building of 9 Years of Shadows through our monthly updates.
This time, we would like to introduce you to some characters that set the tone for the game’s story. Meet Bebel and Wynton, two a mystic bassist and a nostalgic trumpeter that once belonged to a famous orchestra before finding themselves inside Talos Castle. With talented hands and a penchant for rhythm, musicians merge their craft in a beautiful symphony.



As for other iconic characters, we have been talking about one in particular for the past couple of updates, the mysterious warrior Draythus. You have seen his portrait, but what do you think of his latest idle?


And last, but certainly not least, take a look at the portrait of this noble couple. Though wealthy and well-respected, deadly diseases spear no one, regardless of their station. As a result, this portrait is one of the only reminders their daughter has of her parents, along with her halberd and a beautiful dress.


Fueled by the powerful memory those heirlooms represent, Europa is ready to face anything. If you want to know more about the foes Europa will have to face, you might want to stay tuned tuned to our socials. As of this week, we will officially launch our Bestiary, a compilation of Talos’ most dangerous and intriguing creatures.


In fact, the most important creatures featured in the Bestiary are backer-enemies, interesting characters backers of a certain tier created, and we have decided to upgrade them to a boss category. When you run into NPCs such as Bebel and Wynton, they will have quests that may steer you in the direction of these terrifying foes.

And the winners are...

Our Build-A-Room #2 competition in collaboration with HyperX and OMEN has officially come to a close! Missed out on the livestream during which we announced all of the winners? No worries, we will gladly get you up to speed. So without further ado, here are all of the lucky winners of Build-A-Room #2!

10. VASEBREAKER
Starting off the list is VASEBREAKER by WexCore, who has made it to tenth place! We loved the great 'action' ending of this room and did we mention it features an RGB vase for the real gamers?

9. Escape Simulator Developer Simulator
Finally, a room that's all about us! Escape Simulator Developer Simulator by Mc.Rawrzee has earned ninth place! This experience that takes 'meta' to the next level features a great voice-over, smooth gameplay and it's also incredibly funny!

8. Game On!
Next up is Game On! by MelonVerse! This room features some really interesting puzzles and a cool story!

7. The Golden Rig
The seventh spot on the list goes to The Golden Rig, which was made by Mumbo. Excellent puzzle design is the key phrase when it comes to this room!

6. The Parable of Stanbert
What do you get when you put 250+ hours of work into a room? You get The Parable of Stanbert by Khadgar! This room actually features multiple endings and a great, hilarious voice-over!

5. The O.M.E.N. System
The fifth place goes to The O.M.E.N. System by Klaode! It features a big robot. What more do you need?

4. The Hyper Adventure
We're almost at the top three, but not before we highlight Cico's The Hyper Adventure! This room features an excellent adventure, some great character designs and the story is top notch!

3. The Virtual Prison
And the third place goes to The Virtual Prison by Duc! We always love a room with some good voice acting. Additionally, this room made perfect use of the assets, featured some great lore and was just a lot of fun to play through!

2. It's All Led Up To This
The runner-up spot goes to It's All Led Up To This by Robin! We really liked both the concept and the execution of this room and it includes some really smart puzzles!

1. The Ominous Obelisk
And the grand prize goes to The Ominous Obelisk, made by Zesty Mordant! We were overall really impressed by the great puzzle design, perfect use of the assets, and additional lore. To top it all off, the room includes a well designed hint system and and an excellent save system. Well done and congratulations!

IRON GUARD (Non VR) - oreordaz
We are happy to announce that IRON GUARD is out on Steam today!

You probably didn't know, but IRON GUARD was originally a VR game. However, after releasing the game on PC VR and Oculus Quest 2, we decided why not make a PC version as well? So now you too can join the adventures of First Officer Graves and find out what caused the disaster.


As it usually happens, we’ve been rushing to finish the project and although we tested it as much as possible we could have overlooked things and therefore if you encounter any bugs please let us know. We will be glad to get your feedback. In the next patch, we plan to add some small fixes and improvements, as well as add support for gamepad controllers.

We are sure that you will especially enjoy our groovy soundtrack and as a bonus we released it for absolutely free, be sure to download it!

Phobies - GPSGI
The newest update to Phobies has arrived! Update 1.3 includes a variety of improvements to make your Phobies experience better, along with a bundle of fixes for numerous bugs.

Improvements:
Gameplay

  • Players can now tap their opponent’s vault/keyhole to see which enemy Phobies have been previously summoned and killed.
  • Matchmaking has been updated to prevent players from matching repeatedly with the same player when several games are started in quick succession.
  • League ranking boosts have been adjusted to provide more consistent momentum when players win matches in lesser-played modes with large rating discrepancies.
    1. For example, if a player primarily plays Async matches and has a much higher rating in Async mode, they’ll receive a more pronounced rating boost when winning Arena matches.
    2. This will assist lapsed or infrequent players of a given game mode in matching with opponents more appropriate to their skill level.
    3. This should also deter less-skilled players who frequently play a given mode from getting trounced by more highly-skilled “tourist” players.

  • Adjusted input blockers in the gameplay screen to prevent missed player inputs while Phobies are being spawned/placed.
  • Adjusted behavior of rating systems to ensure players are being properly placed in matchmaking after season resets.

User experience

  • Players are now able to change the language of in-game text from the Options menu.
  • Players are now able to visit/join our Discord server via a button in the Options menu.
  • Players can now exit the game via an Exit button on the main screen.

Bug Fixes:
Network/Gameplay

  • Made numerous improvements to our profile saving code to mitigate issues where players were sometimes logged out of the game by server maintenance.
  • Fixed various sync issues that were causing errors in Arena mode.
  • Fixed server errors caused by old Async match requests being kept in queue.
  • Fixed a server error that could cause desyncs at the end of Arena matches.
  • Fixed an issue in which performing, undoing, then repeating the same action a number of times could cause Arena game desyncs.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the wrong daily cap reward message to appear when players reached their Tears cap.
  • Fixed an issue that caused game music to stop playing after tapping the “information” icon on store card packs.

Phobies

  • Fixed an issue with the Charon Phobie that could cause a crash during tutorial games.
  • Fixed an issue with the Charon Phobie inadvertently appearing in Quests for recapturing Panic Points.
  • Fixed an issue with selection and spawn sound effects disappearing with the Eternal Knight Phobie.
  • Fixed an issue in which status effects were not stacking as intended.

Daily Double

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Daily Double reminder pop-up to appear more frequently than intended.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing Daily Double bonus currency icons to remain on various screens after the Daily Double had expired.

Quests

  • Fixed a crash caused by launching the game if a user had completed a Hard Quest but closed the game prior to collecting the reward.
  • Fixed an issue that inadvertently caused Quest progress to be generated during Frenemy games.
  • Fixed an issue with “A Little Anxious” Quest that could cause it to be assigned to Phobies that do no attack damage.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the “Everybody Panics” Quest from tracking progress unless the game is restarted.

Keep your eyes peeled for more improvements, new Phobies and some cool new features in the near future!

Demon's Mirror - Be-Rad Entertainment
Hey Everyone,

I just flew back from PAX East where Demon's Mirror was selected as a PAX Rising Showcase winner! Since we were a part of PAX Rising we were offered free booth space at PAX East, and the game was playable for the first time by the public, ever!

How'd the Show Go?
Extremely well! People seemed to really dig the synergy between roguelike deckbuilding and the chain-3 mechanics. The CEO of another game company loved it so much he was texting publishers about Demon's Mirror and later brought some of them over to check out the game. Several other publishers also approached me and are very interested in publishing the game. Super exciting stuff!

It was a constant stream of people playing the game, and there were almost always several people watching and waiting for their turn.



I talked to several awesome streamers and content creators. Some of them are already talking about Demon's Mirror on their streams!

It's funny, some people would walk by and say, "oh, it's a bejeweled game with cards", but then they'd play and realize it's much deeper than that. It was really neat to see the AHA moment when the gameplay clicked for them. Almost everyone who finished the demo had a huge smile on their face and would ask questions about the game, like how many characters will there be, when will it be released, if they can play the demo online, etc. Unfortunately, there's no downloadable demo yet, but with how well the demo went at PAX I can't wait until I can put one up.

Toe To Toe VR Party Games - VRdevelopment_eu
We are very grateful for all your feedback.
Considering this, our developers are already working on Game 4.

We felt the need to pay respect to the weapon that conquered the Wild West, and this has inspired us in the development of the new game.



We received more feedback on the multiplayer weaknesses.
As the game has just been released, there are not enough people playing it to make this option enjoyable YET, but the surprise is that you'll be able to meet the ghosts of our developers soon in-game to see and try yourself against "professionals" (well... some of us are quite bad at our game ;-)) at any time in the absence of real opponents, as long as there aren't enough people playing to Toe To Toe at the given time.

For a true multiplayer experience, we will announce an online game night soon, when you will all be able to play against us and each other.
