It's been a while since our last development update, in which the main focus was on our meow friend 😺 We're glad that you like the progress we've made so far, and once again, we've wanted to thank you for your support! Today's development update will be unique – we've got a new trailer for ya, some new mechanics to show, and most importantly, we've finally got an exact release date! Ready to jump into the Cozy Village? Without further ado, let's get started!

It's been a while since we've shared some mechanics regarding man's best friend, so it's high time to share some of them with ya' all. We hope that you're gonna spend as much time as possible playing with your four-legged companion, because who doesn't love it, right?

Have you missed the parrots? We've missed them too, so we thought it would be the perfect time to show them to you. I'll be honest with you – they remind me of a strange but funny photo with wolves laughing. Can you guess which photo it is? Let us know in the comments!




We've also managed to prepare something special for those of you who cannot wait for some more marine creatures (or rather pets, right?). And trust me, you've got to see this because you're gonna love it as much as I do!




As you already know, House Flipper – Pets DLC will bring you, brand-new mechanics, such as ceiling painting (we’re glad that you love it), door and stair installation, but also you’ll have the opportunity to add some bulbs to brighten up your dream house. Recently, we’ve come up with some variations to the bulbs. Feel free to let us know what you think about them.

Are you wondering where to spend your summer vacation? Well wonder no more because the fine folks at Horzine are sending you to a location we are simply referring to as the “Rig.”



Off the coast of Scotland in the East Shetland Basin of the North Sea, we’ve located a secret research lab hidden away in an oil drilling rig. We can only imagine what horrors the Patriarch and his cohorts have been up to here in this remote location.



We are sending in our top mercs, that’s you, to investigate and rid the location of any of these aggressive specimens you come in contact with. From our preliminary findings, we have determined the rig to be structurally safe … enough, with the usual collateral damage expected to be within the acceptable range. HSE compliant, maybe not so much so bring protective headgear.



Work your way through multiple floors, with caution. There are plenty of ways to drop down to lower depths in an emergency, but be sure to have a plan for retreat. Once you reach the bottom level fighting your way back up may not be as easy! Watch your step down there, we don’t want mercs overboard, but feel free to send the zeds into the deep blue icy waters.

Research and Development are hard at work on some new weapons to take with you on your summer mission. We’ll have that report in your hands next week.

We'd like to introduce the game we've been working on for the last year or so: a psychological horror experience that we call: No Return

No Return is set in modern day China, and tells the tale of an average office worker arriving back home following another unremarkable day on the job. However, things quickly take a turn for the surreal as our protagonist discovers his home replaced by a familiar but nightmarish repeating hallway. Can he traverse this corrupted version of domesticity? And can he uncover the truth behind what's happening by delving into his own shattered memories?


Our game takes inspiration from traditional Chinese folk customs as well as many of the celebrated movie and videogame horror greats of the past. In particular, we pay homage to the chilling and disturbing experiences offered by the Silent Hill titles. In those games, a sense of irreparable psychological damage floods the player's senses, and it is this feeling of hopelessness within a familiar environment that we wanted to recreate for our own unique story.

Our development team, Blametech, is based in China. Founded by Lisen and Yuxuan Gao in the spring of 2021, the team presently consists of 6 people, all veterans of major game companies such as Tencent and NetEase, and most of whom either previously worked together or met through Vancouver Film School. Our studio focuses on creating high-quality narrative games for PC, console and VR.
