We're releasing a new update for Battlesector, accompanying the release of the Necrons DLC.
The release of Necrons is imminent (just a few minutes now, it will be releasing exactly at 5 pm GMT), but we're making a separate post containing the changelog for the update that accompanies the DLC.
The highlight of this update is of course the addition of the first version of the Planetary Supremacy campaign.
We are extremely interested in hearing your feedback. This is just the first release, but Black Lab Games is fully committed in further developing Planetary Supremacy according to your feedback and expanding it with new content and features, so we want to hear from you. As such, we have dedicated a brand new sub-section of the Slitherine forum where we collect feedback. If you would like to help us improve Planetary Supremacy, please come to this forum section and let us know what you think.
Changes ------
- Support for the Necron Faction Pack. For sixty million years, the Necrons have slept in their tombs. Now they come to Battlesector! >> 14 new units, including the Overlord, Flayed Ones & Skorpekh Destroyers, with dozens of deadly new weapons and special abilities, such as Reanimation Protocols that revives dead units. >> Use HQ Commands to call in the deadly Doom Scythe, to deliver doom from above.
- Support for the 'Planetary Supremacy' skirmish campaign. >> Three factions fight for control of a planet. Eliminate the bases of your opponents to win. >> Battles take place on entirely new procedurally generated maps. >> Capture resource locations to boost your army.
- 'Fast Forward' and 'Skip' button settings are retained in subsequent turns - AI turns now take much less time, particulary when Fast Forward/Skip is used - Added a visualisation of the optimal range of the primary weapon when selecting a unit's destination - Added a new damage type, Acid, which causes a multi-turn status effect, Corrosion. This functions similar to Poison against organic units but instead applies to mechanical units. Changed Tyranofex Acid Splay to do Acid damage.
Balancing --------
- Reduced the Evasion gained from the Adepta Sororitas Devotion faction trait from 0.3 to 0.25 per Momentum - Reduced Seraphim Grace Evasion bonus to 10 - Adjusted the starting position of some Tyranid monsters near the Battle Sisters in Battle for Angels Fall - Increased Hand Flamer (and variants) AP to 2 and shots to 8
Today we made some updates to our Tournament Anti-Cheat System.
First of all - yes, it exists.
Secondly, we've made some improvements to it today that should no longer be flagging players incorrectly in some rare circumstances.
To make sure no one remains incorrectly banned from participating in Tournaments, we have made a clean slate and unbanned all previously flagged players today.
How does it work?
In simple terms, it automatically checks the authenticity of your Tournament run files, and if something is fishy you may have the Tournament system disabled for you. The effect of this is that you'll no longer see the Seal appear on the main menu.
The easiest way to get flagged is to try to manipulate your Tournament save files. Don't do that! (We don't care if you manipulate any single player save files, it's just the Tournament ones we check)
What can I do if I get banned?
We can unban you. The best way is to ask us on our Discord server , or you can send an email to support@abrakam.com. Make sure to tell us your Steam profile name.
We're not looking to stop people from having fun, but we do want to try to keep the multiplayer boards fair.

Several exciting things are currently going on in the world of Dragoness: Command of the Flame. We have our private Beta in full swing as we continue to refine the player experience, and have also recently made improvements to the public demo version.
We've made several changes surrounding balancing and, most importantly, localization. The public demo now supports the following additional languages:
French
German
Spanish
Simplified Chinese
Russian
Polish
Along with the aforementioned balancing changes, there is additional 2D artwork, and a tonne of minor bugfixes to make the game experience smoother overall.

We've released some new updates and fixes from the previous Franchise Update release. Enjoy!
Old roster files now work with new update.
Fixed newspaper message "How Often Will This Happen? Coach __ Fails Make Playoffs", missing "to" before make on newspaper messages.
Fixed issue where kick or punt returners were being chosen for "Kicker of the Year" award.
Running backs are no longer excluded from league receiver leaders screen.
Quarterbacks now drop back automatically (until human touches controls) on under center formations with a minimum speed so slower players can evade quick overpowered sacks after the snap.
Field stats message box height increased slightly to fit longer messages.
Player height now affects catch and interception rates. It also affects swats from defensive lineman for quarterbacks.
Shuffle players and rebuild roster sorts players by overall now.
Fixed issue where gamepad will continue to vibrate after play ends.
Player charge meter should no longer appear when not pressing charge button.
Fixed a few incorrectly ordered depth chart issues in base roster.
Clock plays now appear under "Ask Coach" menu during situations that warrant them.
MVP back button icon location updated to correct position.
Fixed issue where team sends a player to themselves during player wire and free agency events.
Fixed sorting issues in player events newspaper screen.
Fixed issue where Franchise ticker was not displaying on Team menu.
Lineman ball swat success decreased slightly.
Standings page now defaults to your team's conference page.
Team record shows on ticker when viewing Franchise menus.
HOF year arrows only appear when more than one year available.
HOF kicker and punter stats updated. K - FGP, XPP, LNG, PTS | P - AVG, YDS, LNG
HOF current trophy should remain on same trophy when cycling years.
RB newspaper button moved down slightly on schedule screen.
Touched up field stats icon positions to match new box height changes.
Changed player event message from "as compensation" to "in exchange" to help with text that wraps too long.
