Adjusted the skills which are only effective in particular terrains to be more universal. Unit formation is now saved and read in the server. Characters can share data in different clients. Nobility increases players' Town and Defending Troops. Increased the building amount and order cost of Huge Outpost, Stone Camp, War Outpost, and War Fort. Increased the order cost of Large Arena and Forward Command Post. Cities in the novice protection area can now be occupied by cities of the same faction. Optimized all the images of units. Optimized images of some battle scenes. Added depth of field effect in the wild scenes. Added lighting effect of troops in the battle scenes.
Once you have maxed out a power, all copies will be removed from the pool so you will not draw additional wasted copies. If the power is sold, the copies are re-added to the pool.
Adrenaline will no longer cause blunt weakness.
Clear Mind: Time between critical damage increased from 6 up to 6.5 seconds. Critical damage reduced from 60% down to 45%.
Hibernate: Stun duration increased by 0.5 seconds.
It’s been almost a year since Save me Mr Tako was re-released as a Definitive Edition. I want to thank you all for supporting the game and talking about it.
For the Definitive Edition release, since we were working with a new publisher (Limited Run!), we added an all-new English localization to match. And today I’m happy to announce that we're adding an all-new Japanese localization as well by our friends at 8-4 in Tokyo!
With this update, the game now fully supports Japanese once again, and even better than before as now it displays kanji characters as well (the previous release only displayed kana characters).
A new feature that was requested by players a lot was also added to the game: the dialog box now displays the name of the character speaking, which will help to memorize all the main characters.
This patch also fixes a few minor issues. Currently we don't have plans for a Japanese or European physical release, but the North American versions will have Japanese and French localizations on the game card for those who would like to import from overseas. Rework of Relations: Before it was far too easy to get everyone to hate you - now it shouldn't matter how many small transgressions you make, Humanity won't declare war on you just cos you failed to guard a caravan. Also increased the level Humans judge you an enemy, so if you have any save games effected by this, hopefully those cities should be white again.
Reworked Treasure Share - capped lower and increases slower. No effect in existing games until you level up though!
When receiving free skills (e.g. on reaching level 5) instead of receiving Sword, you will get another level of whatever weapon skill you are best at.
Legendary items re-work: There are now very few items with no special powers. A few new powers added. Most combat effects double in power (Precision, parry, etc) Far less Will Power items - also fixed this, it previously did nothing. A few other fixes.
Caravans - Perhaps too many - they were feeding orcs and bandits (Both these get stronger after every win) resulting in the game advancing too quickly. Added new rule counting caravan successes and fails - if too many caravans don't reach their target, the number of new caravans will decline.
On resting (finally) prevented the ghost face that appears sometimes...
