As you may recall, we shared our Global MapleStory (GMS) roadmap for the first half of 2022 in our January 13th Maple Memo. Since it’s been about three months, we’d like to provide an update on the roadmap and confirm the status of the contents, changes, and events mentioned. We’ve also elaborated on some of the notable points below for more information.

Blooming Forest Anniversary Update As you may have seen already from our v.232 Update Preview post, MapleStory’s 17th Anniversary is just around the corner! As a celebration, we are inviting our Maplers to the Blooming Forest, where you can play mini-games and earn special functional and cosmetic rewards. For more information, please look forward to our v.232 Blooming Forest Patch Notes on April 26.
Explorer Redux Our Explorer jobs will undergo a revamp this summer, which we hope will achieve the following goals: strengthening each class’s unique characteristics, modernizing the combat patterns, and enhancing skill growth experience. Here’s a list of the Explorers that will have their skills revamped:
Paladin
Dark Knight
Hero
Arch Mage (Ice/Lightning)
Arch Mage (Fire/Poison)
Bishop
Bow Master
Marksman
Night Lord
Shadower
Dual Blade
Cannoneer
Buccaneer
Corsair
There is much more to come in addition to the highlighted skills mentioned above, such as an updated Explorer storyline and updated V Matrix. We’ll share more information when we’re closer to the update release.
Additional Revamps to Boss Rewards During the June update, we plan to revamp our Boss Rewards and these are some of the changes that will be included:
AbsoLab and Arcane Umbra equipment items will now drop in Armor Box and Weapon Box. The boxes will drop at an increased rate from defeating higher-tier bosses.
Will’s Cursed Spellbook and Mitra’s Rage will now drop in a box.
Rewards, such as 50% Bonus EXP Coupon Voucher and Sparkling Red Star Potion, will be added to certain bosses.
Rewards, such as Chaos Scroll 60% and Wealth Acquisition Potion, will be removed from certain bosses.
Kanna Skill Adjustments As previously announced in our January 13th Maple Memo, during our June update we plan to remove the monster respawn time altering effects of Kanna’s Kishin Shoukan skill and replace it with a 10% increase to EXP gained. When this change was first announced, quite a few of you wondered about how this might affect the future of Wild Totems. We’d like to inform you that we have no plans to make changes to Wild Totems at this time. We will elaborate on the overall skill adjustments further in our June update patch notes.
Player Housing Content My Home is coming this summer to all worlds. My Home is new content where Lv. 200 and above Maplers will have their very own house in MapleStory! You can decorate your house with furniture and use various features it provides, such as storage, music player, invitations, and much more. You can invite other Maplers from the same world to come to your house or you can visit your friend’s house if it’s set to public, regardless of them being online or not! We hope you will utilize this personal living space to further show off your unique styles (FashionStory on the next level) and to socialize by holding socially distanced hangouts with friends and guildmates.
That’s all we wanted to share with you about the upcoming patches until July 2022. We would also like to inform you that our MapleStory team has been working towards releasing GMS roadmaps at a regular cadence going forward. Starting this June, we plan to share GMS roadmaps covering the high-level contents and changes within the next 3-4 months, every quarter. You can expect a Roadmap Maple Memo during the following months:
Late March
Late June
Late September
Late December or Early January
Please note that since plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances, there is room for the roadmaps to be slightly delayed or we may post a mid-update to inform you of the changes to the proposed timeline. We will try to avoid such a situation but if it were to happen, we would appreciate your understanding and patience.
We hope these roadmaps will assist with providing clarity on the upcoming contents plans and avoiding confusion about when certain contents will be released in GMS. Our MapleStory team will continue to work towards providing advanced notice on contents and changes throughout the year.
The tow truck now has buttons to affect an entire fleet of vehicles at a time. The game must be paused and the Tow Truck construction type must be selected in the inventory. Three buttons appear which correspond to:
Towing away all vehicles on red roads.
Towing away all vehicles on red or yellow roads.
Towing away every vehicle currently on a road
Buttons are enabled only if you have enough tow trucks available to tow the designated fleet.

Do you like Jump Pads? Everyone likes Jump Pads. Maybe you’ve dreamed of having a spare one to combo with your Glide ability. Maybe you just like the Boing sound when you bounce on one. Either way, you can now select the jump pad as your Item to combo with your ability of choice. You can even use it alongside the Jump Pad ability for even more Jump Pads!
On a similar note, Players can also choose a deployable obstacle as a selectable Item to combo with other abilities, such as Invisibility to make a clean getaway, or maybe just the Obstacle ability to block off twice as many passageways.
Leveling system: Players will now start level 1 and unlock abilities and items as they complete matches.
Some quality of life changes:
Your selected loadout will now persist when returning to the lobby, no need to re-select your loadout before getting into another game.
Players can now cancel the Drift and Glide abilities by pressing their ability button a second time!

Unfortunately, launch will be delayed as a Steam game title conflict was brought to my attention. I am in talks with the wonderful dev team involved with the other Jaded that plans to release in about 1 week. I am taking a look at all of my options and will post announcement when things have been decided.
What's different? -lowered The Destructors screaming volume by half (so it isn't as loud as it was) -Fixed a bug where you could hide behind a radio and it would bug out the AI -Fixed a bug on subtitles where radios would playback earlier then they should -increased the stamina bar by 5%
