We're hard at work fixing all the bugs you've all reported, with some slight changes to combat balancing. Shoutout to all our Discord members for reporting so many bugs!

To ensure you've gotten the latest patch, restart Steam. You'll have issues connecting to friends if they are on a different version of the game (todo to fix using build version numbers).

Known Issues:
- Gunner enemy, and potentially other enemies, sometimes fails to spawn on multiple repeated PVE runs. For now, you'll just have to restart the game. We're looking into this one ASAP! We did fix the other issue where they'd spawn in invincible though.

Gameplay Changes:
- Nerfed Bamboo Axe HP
- Added unique charge attack for Axe
- Added unique sprint attack for Axe and Pickaxe
- Dodges now cancel consumable progress
- Increased heavy attack charge times
- Improved hitbox timing on attacks with small items
- After a block input, the block state will persist for a minimum 0.4 seconds. This makes it so that spamming blocks will be more punishing.
- While sprinting, a block input now causes the player to slide for a bit instead of stopping.
- You can no longer block while jumping or rolling.
- Rolling only cancels block before/after the 0.4s minimum. (was able to hold block while rolling)
- Sprint and jump will only cancel block after the 0.4s minimum waiting time. (TODO: buffering input system)

Art Changes:
- Removed PVE / open world player outlines
- Removed voice lines on certain weapons so the character doesn't scream (fishing pole, pickaxe)
- Reduced ridiculous reverb in PVE duel map

Major Bug Fixes:
- Missing wave enemies should be fixed now
- Fixed enemies not spawning in with their weapons sometimes
- Players can now properly give up when in the dying state in PvE.
- Rebirth UI no longer gets stuck on a player's screen when they give up in PvE and the PvE mode ends
- Fixed random no health enemies spawning
- Fixed taking damage from barefoot footsteps in slow (and potentially other damage sources) causing the player to reach 0 HP without dying, which makes the player invincible to all damage

Minor Bug Fixes:
- Controls UI now appears for clients
- Heart eyes now have heart pupils just like in the preview
- Players can no longer access the save menu or enable invasions
- Players now rotate and follow the camera direction when throwing an item and moving the camera
- The damage screen effect no longer lingers on the edges of a player's screen when respawned or revived
- Enemies with spaghetti arms spawning for clients are fixed
- Damage effects should no longer play when healed
- Fixed teleporting back to initial ragdoll height when getting up from ragdoll
- Players can no longer activate chat in the title screen outside the lobby

Optimizations:
- Added better occlusion culling in the Duel Map

Citywars Tower Defense - Linkupdated
Quick fix on a ui error. Since the new language pack of this weekend opening a double description ui could result in your game crashing.

This could primarily happen inside the clothing shop while shopping for clothes. All other types of ui or module were well implemented with the new language pack except the double description module. It would simply crash trying to access the missing font.

Short Hades Carrier Gameplay Video, with a fleet of 5 yachts: One missile boat, 1 assault Dragon, 1 assault Phantom and 2 Furies as repair ships. Also features turret layout as well as a side view of the 3D model.

I've recently uploaded a beta build to test how the game menu scales with different screens. If you want to try it out, go to "Betas" in the game's properties and type "DayAfterDayBeta" in the beta access code field.

Please note that this is not meant for regular play; I'll use the beta channel to test the most random things. :)

The current beta build is focused on testing different screen aspect ratios - currently, the game *SHOULD* display black bars on the sides of the screen if you're using a 21:9 display, or black bars on the top and bottom if you're using a 4:3 display.

Please let me know if the game isn't displaying properly!

  • AI improvements to decrease likelihood of cannibals going off cliff in Summit
