Q1:The game crashes without even entering the main interface when clicking on the Steam library page.
Solution: Try to delete the entire folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TalesOfWild.
This directory can be accessible by running %appdata% through cmd to open the C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming path of your computer. Then go back to the parent directory and enter the Local directory, delete the entire TalesOfWild folder.
Please try it, maybe it will help you.

Solution:
When encounter such UE4 fatal error, try to solve as below:
Try a low image quality setting.

1.Set FrameRateLimit less than 60,and turn on the VSync

2. Enter NVIDIA control panel,and select “Use the advanced 3D image settings”

3.Switch to “Manage 3D settings”→”Program Settings”,select(or add) Cultivation Tales.exe startup file

3 Major changes for version 1.01
First off, easier progression. Several players have pointed out it can be hard to get passed the first four challenges. We want BangBang PewPew to push lightgun players to their limits but we don’t want it to be so hard that players can’t progress. Because of this, we looked at the global leaderboard data and unlocked achievements and decided to make the stars for the Protect the Runner challenge and Pendulum Plates challenges easier to allow people to progress faster. If you’ve been playing those two and already cleared them, give them another shot so you can keep your place in the leaderboard! We also made the start of Stop the Iron Balls easier.

Secondly, we rewrote the way audiences are generated in the curling challenge arena. The quality settings built into Unity weren’t working on higher-end systems so we wrote our own system geared towards the arena environment. On low-end computers, this means better visuals. On high-end gaming rigs, better framerates.

Thirdly, key binding. A few people have asked to be able to bind the action button to something other than the 2nd button on their mouse or gun. Check in the options menu. It now supports every controller supported by the Unity game engine. Of course, we don’t have access to every single one and we could not test every one if we did so please let us know if you run into trouble with your setup. We tested it with 7 different devices on 3 different machines and it worked flawlessly with them all so good job Unity!

The Silent Kingdom - Akane
Hello, everyone!

Many things have happened since the last time I made a post on Steam.



The Silent Kingdom's Kickstarter campaign went live and got fuinded in 9 hours and 14 minutes! After that, several stretch goals have been reached, like one that will turn the first person combat system into third person with battle sprites!

This means that The Silent Kingdom is going to become a full game, and will be released on Steam as an Early Access by the end of this year or the beginning of the next.

The Kickstarter campaign is still running. Grab the exclusive rewards and free DLC for backers now, before it's too late!



In preparation for making the full game, the demo has received a graphical update and some tweaks:

  • Changes in the backgrounds, which now look less pixelated and more fitting with the character sprites.


  • Corrected the distance between party members. No longer shall the princess feel the magician's breathing on her neck!

  • Added a function to hide the text box with the mouse's right click. Now you can enjoy the art whenever you'd like!



A first beta for backers is coming to Steam around June/July. You can find more information in the Kickstarter page.

Note that because this patch changes map generation for hell levels, if you are in a hell level in your save you will need to portal back to seaport and go back to hell island to generate a new map. Changes to item rolls will also not affect items from older saves.

  • Added permadeath mode. Right now there is no way to view lost characters. Screen to view dead characters to come in future patch.
  • Fixed Salamancer doing 3 times the intended damage.
  • Fixed crash during map generation in hell levels.
  • Greatly reduced cooldown on hit effectiveness. Cooldown on hit now scales with damage done.
  • Reduced critical hit multiplier from nothing personal.
  • Reduced HP regen for warden of the forest skill.
  • Slightly reduced critical and attack damage stat affixes.
  • Slightly reduced monster and map size multiplier for hell levels but increased monster scaling difficulty.
  • Increased item pickup radius.
  • Made nighttime slightly less dark.
  • Reduced strength of extra bonus from magic simple glyphs.
  • Reduced experience gain for later hell levels.
  • Gems should now spawn in a smaller range of grades for a given level.
  • Further reduced coin spread in later hell levels (coin amount stays the same, coins are just combined)

These are some features that are currently being developed. And there are some parts that can't be updated for now, such as bug fixes, NPC refactoring, etc.
