Fixes:
- Settings now only save when closing settings, instead of closing the Escape menu.
- Diplomacy popup appearing at top left of screen instead of at the mouse cursor.
- Item transfer popups were appearing behind the player's belt, allowing players to duplicate items by clicking on the item and then confirming the popup.
- A joining player taking 2nd last player's name, showing duplicate player names in the players window.
- The World Map's toggle Towns/People button wasn't making town buttons reappear after toggling back and forth.

Hey fellow pervs,


Today we launch the Character Creator update. Alongside some minor bug fixes, this update brings you the first part of a full, in-depth Character Creator.



With this update, you will be able to create new girls;



select different faces and edit them;



select different body shapes and edit them, and change hair, clothing, and shoes.



You can also edit the colors for eyes, skin, clothing, hair, and nails.


On top of this, we have added more clothing articles and 3 new girls: Zola, Fane, and Daphne.



In the next update, we will add more to the Character Creator system, specifically the option to select, edit or create new personalities for your girls. This will affect what toys they enjoy and when they enjoy them.




After that we will implement Steam Workshop which will allow you to share your creations with the community and also allow you to import creations of other players.

Of course, over the coming updates, we plan to add even more clothing articles, animations, and poses.

Hellish Quart - Kubold



This is Alexander.

He is based on an extraordinary historical 17th century character - Alexander Dynis. Serving under the Bishop of Cracow, for his deeds, he was nobilitated and became a starosta (a town mayor) of Kozieglowy in Poland. He was mentioned in Walerian Trepka's "Liber generationis" from 1626:

"Dynis Alexander, a Black Man, serving under the bishop of Cracow. For his achievements, the bishop made him a starosta of Kozieglowy in Siewierszczyzna."

His depiction in the game imagines him before this time - right after he ended up in Poland.

Hey everyone,

It is almost time for our Early Access launch, and we’re pleased to announce that we have managed to improve upon the things we mentioned in our last update. We’ve implemented the tutorial messages, fixed up issues with the pathing, and controller support is better than before. WASD still has some issues with regard to ranged attacks, but hopefully it will get sorted out before our launch date.

We are even ahead of schedule on some of the more highly requested features: Local Co-op, which we only thought we would get to after launch, will be present at launch. Also, we have expanded it to support 4 players instead of our initial goal of 2 players. Be warned however, that we have not thoroughly tested the feature, so play at your own risk!

One of the issues brought up on Discord by our Patreon Supporter, smattymatty, was that the inventory tends to get cluttered rather quickly.


We discussed the issue, and decided to implement a major QoL change known as the Commodity Cube.

As per the description, the Commodity Cube essentially gives extra inventory space and automatically stores items such as food ingredients and potions.

You'll receive the cube from Nadir after clearing the first temple mission.



If you are past that quest, don't worry! You should get the cube automatically the next time you load your character.

On a related note, as requested, food items are now on auto-pickup with a handy alert message at the corner of the screen:


Well, that’s all for now. The Early Access launch is really close so I must get back to work. Some of you might be surprised that we’re willing to implement such a drastic new feature so close to early access launch, but this is because we’re committed to taking player feedback. While it is tempting to think of Early Access Launch as some sort of finish line, we know that it is only the start of things, and will continue to take feedback and suggestions. So, keep playing! We hope our beta testers enjoy this new feature.

Manic Archers - Ancient Most High
Many fixes to Coop-Survival mode incl.:
  • AI-player enemies are not revivable and do not revive other players anymore
  • Correct pixel perfect size for enemies
  • Stomp move does not affect other players anymore
  • Homing arrows do not target other players anymore
Other fixes:
  • Radius in which players are getting burned from fire/fire arrows lowered - to reduce players being on fire almost constantly
  • Rapid-fire powerup arrows cannot hurt owner anymore

Eternal Warfare - Space.cpp
Hello again,

This is a small patch fixing some minor issues found recently:

  • When running mods with very large amounts of units or buildings the interface would run out of space. Added buttons to navigate through the pages.
  • Bugfix: Joining a server with the Random Map selected would cause the game to just show an empty map preview and be unable to start the game.
  • Random Map properties are now visible to clients.
PogoChamp - ilikeshiny
Today marks a huge milestone for PogoChamp development. With this release, all of the planned levels are now playable! It has been almost 1 year (362 days) since the Early Access launch, and it feels amazing to call the game "content complete" at this point. (Until I think of something else "really cool" that I can't help but add.)

This marks the end of any planned new levels, but I'm not done working on PogoChamp. There are still a few features I plan to add, and lots of places that need more polish & attention.

Level 100: The Beginning.
I'd rather not spoil anything about the end-game content, so I won't be including a level teaser in this post, but I hope those of you who make your way through to the end will enjoy what's in store.

Unofficial VS Mode
Over the last couple weeks, I started brainstorming ways to play PogoChamp competitively against your friends. I was focusing on ways to play that didn't involve any new features to be added to the game, and I came up with something I think is pretty fun. WaltzingDucks (the current #1 player on the leaderboards) and I played this a few times and had a blast.

C.H.A.M.P.
This is a variant of the Basketball game HORSE, for PogoChamp.

This mode is for 2 players, but could probably be modified to support more.

The game is first to 5 points. Players take turns competing in individual levels, alternating “Attack” and “Defense”.

Steps
  1. Attacking player picks a level that hasn’t been chosen yet.
  2. Attacking player has 5 attempts to complete the level.
    1. If they beat the level, that becomes the challenge time*, and move on to step 3.
    2. If they don’t beat the level, the next player becomes the attacker, and you repeat step 2.
  3. Defending player now has 5 attempts to beat the challenge time on that level.
    1. If they don’t beat the time in their 5 attempts, the attacker gains a point.
  4. The Defending player becomes the new Attacker, go to step 1.
* If the Attacker completes a level but still has attempts remaining, they can try the level again, but only the final attempt counts as the challenge time.

Setup
To see what the other person is doing, you’ll both need to be screensharing. You can do this by going into a Discord voice channel and both picking “Stream” (doing it in a direct call will replace the other person’s stream). Feel free to use the #stream-1, #stream-2, etc channels in the PogoChamp Discord for this. I can also create additional channels that only allow 2 people if you want to play privately..

This works best with multiple monitors, but should be fine if you only have 1, you’ll just need to swap back and forth if you want to watch the other person’s attempts.

When you set a challenge time, just leave your game on the replay, so the other person can watch it & compare / plan their route. This will also prevent the need to remember what the challenge time was exactly, because the replay shows the time.

Variations & Optional Rules
  • You can change the number of attempts from 5 to any other number you want. WaltzingDucks and I found that 3 or 5 felt pretty good, but we’re also probably the 2 most experienced PogoChamp players in the world, hahah. If the experience/skill level difference of the two players is big, you can give players different numbers of attempts as a way to make it more fair.
  • Level Veto: you can add in some number of Vetoes that people can use to force the attacker to choose a different level. These can either be done at the beginning of the match, or after a player picks a level you can have the option to veto it.

Speedrunning
With all the levels available, it's now open season for speedrunnning! PogoChamp already has https://www.speedrun.com/pogochamp. The two current categories are "All Levels complete" and "All Rainbow Gems", but let me know if there are other categories you'd like to see.

Currently I'm using the in-game timer for listing speedrun times, but I also plan to add support for autosplits external timers like LiveSplit to the game
