- Manually defeating an UB shows now a short message with how much gp you got.
- You you can now downgrade a planet if it is level 5 or lower (to prevent mistakes from newer players if they can't defeat the UBs).

the time has finally come, you can register as a tester for the closed alpha now!



How to become an alpha tester?
The closed alpha test phase will run over discord, because it has a good channel structure for feedback, suggestions, bug reports, screenshots and more.

How the registration works?
I'm planning to give out around 200 keys. Depending on the amount of registrations you have a certain chance to become an alpha tester. When the registration phase ends and you are chosen as one, I will send you a key over a DM on discord.

When the closed alpha starts?
The closed alpha will start closely after the registration phase, which will be in around 2 weeks.

Recommendations
It's recommended to have a decent PC for better performance and graphics, but the game should also run on potato computers.

Rules
Because the game is still in an early state and some things may change, please do not
upload gameplay / lets play videos public on social media platforms.

Additional Info
The closed alpha version also supports online co-op.

Telepath Tactics Liberated - Sinister Design
New in this patch:

-- fixed the annoying tooltip "wiggle" when mousing over a throbbing new skill button on the level-up screen.

-- battle text overlay messages no longer remain visible onscreen during the appearance of the level-up screen, promotion screen, victory/defeat box, when opening the battle menu, while typing in the console, or when restarting a battle.

-- fixed: all-purpose RangeBonus tags (as used on Binoculars and Lyrio) had ceased to function correctly.

-- fixed: buttons for new skills were not being displayed in the Promotion screen.

-- cleaned up the promotion screen interface a bit in general.

-- fixed: using Escape to close the console in battle would simultaneously register as a cancel press for whatever else was open (and if nothing else was open, would open the battle menu).

-- balance tweaks: made Gavrielle and Zimmer somewhat more likely to gain Strength with each level; increased Madeleine's base Heath slightly and base Energy substantially.

-- fixed: the game was not explicitly setting a custom integer value representing the state of the player's conversation with Fera to 0 at the start of the game. This meant that playing a save file where you had spoken to her and then loading a save file where you had not could result in the game inappropriately using the conversation value from the first save.

-- fixed: status effects for custom skills were not being saved within the skill editor.

-- added a "Not connected to Steam" warning when attempting to upload from the campaign editor and a Steam connection isn't successfully established.

-- fixed: alone among all psy users in Multiplayer, the cryokineticist had a Mind Blast counterattack.

Pirates of Gravitae - Gravitae Pirate
Ahoy mateys!

The day has finally arrived and Pirates of Gravitae is now available on Steam Early Access for purchase.

This is a very exciting milestone for this journey that I embarked on as a solo developer almost a year ago. The game that started its life as a toy for my kids' amusement, the game that I later decided to realize as a full indie game, is now out in the world for all to enjoy.

I say solo developer, but only in the sense that I have been the only designer/developer on the project. Otherwise I am grateful for the contributions of Emiliano Giugliano (2D art), Joe Barrucco (sound design), and Ryan Leach (music), as well as everyone who tested the game and gave feedback to help me craft a better game. A very special thanks goes to my family for their support and the endless inspiration they provide.

So what now?
The next little while will be focused on making sure any reported issues and bugs are resolved as fast as I can.

I am hoping once the dust settles after the first couple weeks, I can turn to working on improving some of the existing game mechanics, and addressing any quality of life issues that the community may request. Already I have received a number of feature requests and suggestions, and I will work on gathering them all and prioritizing.

Once the existing content has received a good level of fine tuning, next comes the business of adding new content to the game as planned. Currently the game has the first act of the grand campaign, from a total of three planned for the final release. Along with the new acts, there will be new enemies, new environments, and more, to keep the game fresh, challenging and interesting throughout the entire campaign. I can't wait to hear what new ideas the community will come up with!

So this is the plan so far. But of course, in the words of Terry Pratchett: "Only presumptuous fools plan. The wise man steers."

Greetings Terrarians!

March already... well almost April really?! 2022 is flying by - but we are sure glad to see Spring starting to come into full bloom and with it, a lot of the plans we have been discussing in earlier States of the Game are close to coming to fruition! 1.4.3 for Consoles and Mobile (parity... at least for a time!) is right around the corner, Labor of Love draws ever-closer, and we have a lot of exciting things to come on the community and merch fronts as well. So much has already happened this year, but we are just getting warmed up.

Let's see what is in store shall we?



PC - RE-LOGIC

TERRARIA - LABOR OF LOVE UPDATE

The team remains hard at work on a variety of Quality of Life and Balance updates alongside some other fun additions that will be coming your way with the Labor of Love update. We often get asked what we mean by "Quality of Life" updates - versus, say fixes or new features. So, we figured now would be a good time to show off one such QOL update that we are particularly happy to see added to Terraria. It is one that is a long time in coming - and one we figure will be pretty much universally popular.



What is this wizardry?!?

Simply put, we are increasing the stack size of nearly every stackable item in the game to 9999. Please note that there are some exceptions to this, but only around 10-15 which had to be kept as-is for mechanical purposes.

This is just one of the Quality of Life upgrades that you can expect once Labor of Love arrives later this year.

What else does Labor of Love have in store? When will it arrive? Well, you will have to stay tuned to find out!

TMODLOADER NEWS - TML TEAM



Hello everyone!

Hello everyone!

We have some definite progress this month that you will want to check out - tML will be doing monthly previews starting in April... and an update on tML 1.4 timing. Want all of the details? Read on!

Moving forward, tML on Steam will have two different branches/betas: 'preview' and 'stable'. Most players on stable will be able to play without the fear of tModLoader updates breaking the game without notice. Each preview will be live for a month, giving modders time to update their mods and react to new changes, before becoming 'stable' at the end of the month. We encourage all 1.3 modders to come and start porting their mods to the preview next month! With some concerted effort, feedback and support, we hope to have the first 'stable' release of tML 1.4 in May, for Terraria 1.4's 2 year anniversary. As always, you can keep track the current progress and such more in real time at tModLoader/tModLoader (But note that the completion percentage doesn't mean anything, because issues and PRs don't have weights.)

PlayStation, XBOX, Nintendo Switch, Mobile - DR STUDIOS

CONSOLE/SWITCH/MOBILE CONTENT PARITY TO 1.4.3 REMAINS THE FOCUS​

The team remains hard at work putting the finishing touches on the upcoming 1.4.1 - 1.4.3 updates for Console and Mobile. We remain fully on-track as of now to get this update in everyone's hands in April. We are very close to being able to submit to all first parties for approval - but we cannot give an exact launch window yet because we do not know how long or how many review passes any given company will want. That said, we are getting close!

To tide you over, here is a little teaser of what is coming your way (with a video from Mobile this time - but everyone will be getting the same content)... watch the cursor closely.



We are, of course, aware of some of the larger remaining bits (further KB+M work, Online+Splitscreen MP, etc) - and we still plan to get to these! Thanks so much for your feedback and reporting - with your help, we are able to fine tune and sort out issues to create a better Terraria experience for everyone!



Mobile news is much the same as the news for consoles... on track for April. Repeating that here in case you skipped straight here.

As we shared in the news post, we made this move primarily to be able to have greater creative control over the appearance, ad content, etc. of the wiki in order to bring things together in a more consistent way for the long term. As in the past, Re-Logic receives nothing (revenue, etc) from the wiki - our involvement here is strictly to maximize the experience for the Terraria fans.

• Added World 3 miniboss Dilapidated Slush.
• Added World 4 miniboss Mutated Mush
• Added 7 new recipes to miniboss drop tables (all 6 minibosses, including those in World 1 and 2). These recipes are for "pro versions" of old equipment!

Quality Improvements
• Epic Gamer Moments now occur when rolling for new Vials in alchemy!
• Removed 73 of the chatbox hints that were just jokes, and added 13 new chatbox hints that are actually hints for gameplay
• Party members who are not present will now show the Grey-Dot icon next to their name, in the red Party Member Bar
• King Doot now has a 'repeat fight' button in the top left, allowing for easier grinding with multiple Eyes
• Arcade Ball Launching is now toggle on/off, instead of "hold down" to launch
• Added 5th Printer sampling slot, purchased in the gem-shop
• You can now Hold-Down on the "Boost" button in Alchemy to boost your Bubble Cauldrons faster. (You can do this for Alchemy Liquid Decanting too, but that has always been in the game)
• Double-tapping on Rings/Keychain equipment will alternate which slot they are equipped to. In other words, you can doubletap on two rings, and it will equip both of them (instead of replacing each one in the top ring slot as it used to)
• The "Account-wide items" display within Player-Info now shows [# of Library checkouts] next to [Arcade Balls]

Balance Changes
• All equipment only require 1 of the previous equipment, instead of multiple (other than shoes and gloves because lol)
• Bludgeon now costs 4 glass shards to craft, not 10. Also, costs 1 Sleek Shank instead of 9000 bullfrog horns
• Pet Genetic Fastidious changed. It's bonus now decays after 20 stacks (so at 30 stacks, it will only give ~25 stacks worth. At 40, it would give 28 stacks, etc).
• Pet Genetic Defender changed. It now gives 90% block chance instead of 100%
• Buffed the effect "Teleport" mage talent has on AFK movement speed by 1.5x
• removed all dungeon weapons (just the weapons) from being counted for Looty Mc Shooty and all other future mechanics revolving around item collection
• You're really reading all of this huh, i like that! Thats the kind of dedication i like to see around here!
• "RNG" Vial Upgrade in Cauldron p2w tab now caps at Lv.45, and anyone with a higher Lv will have theirs set back to 45.
• Sapphire Rhombol lab jewel now gives its +25% line width bonus even if its not active. Its 'active bonus' is now +25% breeding exp gain.
• Pyrite Rhombol lab jewel itself is no longer affected by it's own bonus. Otherwise, it is the same jewel as before.

Bug fixes
• Fixed bug that wouldnt allow you to scroll up to the new bubbles with mousewheel
• Fixed bug involving kitchen upgrading, which would cause a kitchen to appear to be cooking even when it wasnt.
• Cooking prowess fixed
• Breedability multiplier in Pet Breeding now displays the correct amount.
• Fixed a bug where having more than 80 inventory slots would cause crashes

War Thunder - CyberStonka

The USS Davis Destroyer will become one of the main prizes in the spring crafting event that starts in War Thunder on April 7th!

The USS Davis (DD-395) destroyer will appear in War Thunder as one of the prizes in the spring crafting event that begins in the game on April 7th. The destroyer belongs to the Somers class, already well known to the commanders of the War Thunder bluewater fleet, but differs from the lead ship in terms of armament. In 1942, the Admiralty began to realize the growing threat from aviation in naval battles and it was decided to strengthen the air defense in most ships. To improve Davis’s AA capabilities, they had to dismantle one of the torpedo launchers: Davis only has two quadruple torpedo tubes, not three like the Somers. At the same time, the composition and number of anti-aircraft guns has also changed - now, instead of ineffective and outdated "Chicago pianos" and heavy machine guns, unified caliber guns were installed - 6 single-barreled 20mm Oerlikon guns, which have proven themselves well for destroying aircraft at close range, and are also capable of dealing with boats.

Otherwise, the gameplay of the Davis is the same as Somers’. The main caliber is four double-barreled turrets with the Mark 12 5"/38 (127mm) caliber guns. A good selection of shells can also be found - high-explosive fragmentation shells, two types of common shells (semi-AP), as well as high-explosive shells with a radio fuse. Unfortunately, turrets are highly vulnerable to any enemy fire and do not have effective protection against shrapnel and automatic gun fire. The engine room and transmission group are protected by 12.7 mm armor from the sides and from the deck, such protection will more than once help the commander out of being hit by enemy HE shells and shrapnel.



Also, it is worth mentioning that the Davis destroyer is a premium ship and will significantly speed up the research in the US bluewater fleet of low and medium ranks. The harmonious and profitable USS Davis is one of the prizes of the big crafting event, upcoming to the game on April 7th.
