Game Guide_Training Ground CROWZ Game Guide – Contents Guide: Training Ground –
■ Introduction
Training ground is a mode where you can learn all the combat techniques available in CROWZ. It is very easy to use as each training method has a designated area. Without further ado, let's get started!
■ Contents
As introduced earlier, you can check combat techniques in each zone of the Training Ground, and they can be distinguished very easily.
We will introduce the training zones in clockwise order from the top left of the world map.
1. Firing Range Longshot
In this shooting range, there is a 100m to 1,000m wide field where you can practice firing with any firearms available in CROWZ. The shooting range is made up of 1 to 5 firing lanes where you can train by acquiring the guns placed in each lane. If you want to train with something other than the firearms in the firing range, you can choose the weapons you wish to use from the warehouse behind the shooting range.
2. CQB House
This training ground is a place where you can learn real urban warfare battle skills. You can practice shooting at a target dummy while moving using various concealments and covers.
3. Boat Dock Harbor
In Boat Dock Harbor, you can drive maritime equipment. When you go near the dock, information on available ships will be displayed on the screen.
4. HeliPad Aircraft
In HeliPad Aircraft, you can see two helicopters.
Each is equipped with a Gatling gun and missile so that you can also practice firing in addition to driving a helicopter.
5. Ammunition Warehouse
In the ammunition warehouse, you can try out all the weapons that you can set in Crowz except melee weapons. You can also get ammo and attachments for equipped guns.
6. Garage Armors
This training ground offers two tanks, where you can get on board and practice driving and shooting. If you want to drive and shoot at the same time, we recommend training with other Crows.
7. Obstacle Course Basic
In this course, you can train to jump between structures, climb over them, and even practice crouching and prone shooting positions.
8. Garage Vehicle
The garage supports three cars for the driving practice of the ground vehicles. One is equipped with a heavy machine gun, which we recommend using when practicing with other Crows.
9. Firing Range Pistol
At this shooting range, the target is 25m away, so you can practice with a firearm suitable for close combat. The shooting range is made up of 10 firing lanes where you can train by acquiring the guns placed in each lane.
10. Obstacle Course Vertical
Here you can practice movements similar to those performed at Obstacle Course Basic. As you move between the variously placed containers, you can practice and get familiar with your surroundings.
11. Explosive Range Grenade
Explosive Range Grenade training ground gives you the opportunity to practice throwing various grenades. As the distance can vary greatly depending on the throwing angle, we recommend trying to use all grenades to be prepared to use them on the battlefield!
Play Setting is a place where you can set up or purchase equipment, costumes, and various items necessary for battle. We will guide you on how to set up the equipment, closet management, appearance, emotion, spray, and vehicle.
■ Equipment
In equipment, you can specify which weapon you would like to use. 4 types of weapons can be used per each slot.
The 4 weapons are fixed and used in battles according to the types indicated below. There are locked weapons and parts depending on the account level. However, you can replace them with the weapons found in the game.
① 1st Slot: Chosen from an assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun, submachine gun, light machine gun, and storage rifle. ② 2nd Slot: Chosen from 4 pistols. ③ 3rd Slot: Chosen from 3 melee weapons. ④ 4th Slot: Chosen from 6 throwable weapons.
※ Customize Weapon
Weapons in the 1st and 2nd Slots can be modified using a system called Gun Modification. You can set parts, skins, and stickers that can be attached to the gun. There are also parts that can be used once the higher account level is reached.
For skins and stickers, you can use items you own, or you can equip items you have purchased with RCP in Play Setting → Equipment → Customize Weapon → Sticker.
■ Closet
In Closet, you can specify which outfit to wear. A total of 2 slots can be specified, and each slot sets 10 parts.
- Head / Glasses / Face Equipment / Top / Gloves / Vest / Bottom / Shoes / Bag / Top Patch
After purchasing RCP in Shop, you can equip purchased items in Play Setting → Closet.
■ Appearance
In Character Appearance, you can set the appearance of your character who will participate in the battlefield. - Mercenary / Hair / Facial Hair / Eye Color / Tattoo
After purchasing RCP in Shop, you can equip the purchased item in Play Setting → Change Character Appearance.
If you do not want to set appearance, you can reset it by pressing the Reset button.
■ Emotion
Emotions are actions that can be used on the battlefield which does not have any effect on the battle. However, if you get to have a little bit of spare time in between the battle, fun and witty emotion may perhaps raise the morale of teammates? Emotions are divided into Expression and MVP motion.
Expressions are used when you want to express your current emotions. Dancing or showing some body movements may help you to unite with your team or squad. Victory Pose is an action you take when you become the MVP after winning a squad operation or in the blood zone.
If you want to show off or highlight your experience, try setting a MVP motion!
Some of the two kinds of emotions can be purchased with RCP and after the purchase can be used on the battlefield by selecting it in Play Setting → Emotion.
■ Spray
The spray is a feature used for strategic marking on the battlefield. You leave the saved mark through the shortcut key (F3) at the location specified with the mouse.
A total of 8 sprays can be used in one battlefield. Some sprays can be used on the battlefield by selecting the item in Play Setting → Spray after purchasing with RCP.
■ Vehicle
In vehicle, you can set patches that can be attached to various vehicles.
Patches can be attached to most vehicles and are categorized into the following types: - Normal Vehicle / Combat Vehicle / Tank / Aerial Vehicle / Naval Vehicle / Others
Some attachments can be purchased with RCP, and purchased items can be equipped in Play Setting → Vehicle.

Hey all! Just wanted to provide an update on PIXELS as we move closer to our launch in Q2 this year. (Yes, thats real soon!!)
This is going to be the first of hopefully, constant annoucements as we get closer to Early Access release and beyond.
First of all, I wanted to give a thank you to all demo players and anyone who played, wishlisted, or watched our Stream during Feb's NextFest. We had a big boost during NextFest and it really means a lot to us so thank you!
Also a HUGE thank you to the people who provided feedback on the Steam forum. We took your feedback into consideration when working on new features. We hope you like it!
With that out of the way...here's the juicy stuff!
Please welcome our newest Pixels!
Leira
Type: Water
Leira is a fast swimmer who can shoot a pressurized water cannon from her mouth. Her species were supposed to be majestic mermaids but something went wrong with her code and this came out.
Lightning Rannala
Type: Brawl
Lightning Rannala is quick on her feet and powerful with her fists! Pixels that underestimate her small stature soon find themselves on the floor, wishing they never taunted her.
Boring Combat...
One of the major problems with combat in Creature Collecting games, is the easy combat. It's super easy to fall into a rhythm of just spamming your most powerful move over and over. Everyone's guilty of it, even me! Games have tried things such as a stamina bar or moves you can only use on certain turns. While we believe those are ok ways to change things up, we decided to put our own spin on things!
Introducing...The Battle Cost System!
With our Cost system, you will notice that every move has a cost associated with it. Normally the cost is 1 which is very familiar in other creature collecting games :). However has you start to use the same move over and over, it's cost will go up every time! From 1 to 2 to 3 etc. How do you reduce the cost again? It's simple! Just use a different move and it will be reset back to 1 again! With our cost system we still allow the player to spam moves when desired, but you will definitely feel the consequences as the cost ramps up very quickly! We hope you enjoy it!
Event Tiles!
One of our core Pillars of PIXELS is we wanted every play through to feel different. To help accomplish this, we decided to expand on our mystery tile selection! Currently we have two mystery types implemented, the Secret Shop and the Loot Tile. We added in 3 more to bring our total up to 5! We are committed to expanding this system even further to 10+ types in the future. We hope the unpredictability makes for an exciting experience! Here are the new tile types we added...
Mystery Gateways
3 Doors are in front of you, pick one and see what happens! Hopefully something good!
Reconstructor
Sad with one of the Pixels you got during your run? Use the reconstructor to turn that Pixel into a new one! Hopefully you get something good!
Virtualizer
Some of the feedback we got was from players who wanted a more familar Creature Collecting experience. While the game is a roguelike fusion at heart, we still wanted to add some of those Creature Collecting elements that players love! Introducing, the Virtualizer! With this Machine, you can store a Pixel from your party into the Virtualizer Database! While losing a Pixel make you weaker during your run, your pixel is stored for all future runs. When you encounter another Virtualizer later, you can take a Pixel out and add it to your party! Don't worry though because one the data is stored, it's always for you to use in the future! If you can find another Virtualizer of course. We hope this encourages players to fill up their Virtualizer database and gives players a lot more choice to use the Pixel they desire!
Whew...that was a bunch of stuff.
Thanks again for following the development of PIXELS! We are still on track for a Q2 Early Access release date and hope to have a release date soon!
