Version 0.2 has launched bringing new features, improvements and changes.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards have been added. You can see how you rank among your friends in two categories.

Improved Stats

New Stats have been added to the stats menu, along with a little revamp.

Additional Warnings
The following messages have been added to the game:
  • Trying to leave the game will now give you a warning before you leave or not.
  • When the host leaves a game the players will be given a message to show what happened and kicked back to the main menu.
UI changes
  • Made a few changes to the main menu to fit better on smaller resolutions
  • Lobby type drop-down scales better.
  • When connecting to a lobby, you will now see a "connecting..." message. This message will only go away after successfully joining or failing to connect.
Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed (Hopefully)
  • The mouse Sensitivity slider now saves correctly.
  • Player movement is now consistent based on settings.
  • Sound and Music sliders now update correctly.
  • Leaving the game should now allow you to create a new game.
  • Kicking a player now correctly brings them back to the main menu
Other Changes
  • You can no longer join a game that is in progress
  • Fixed spelling errors :p

Hello! This patch addresses a few things but most importantly another bad crash with level generation. Thanks for your patience as I work out the kinks!

  • fixed a crash on level generation
  • fixed achievement 1_CC to unlock properly
  • lowered the limit on the size dungeons can be. this is to prevent eventual slowdown
  • fixed tutorial prompts showing the wrong button
  • fixed spelling errors
  • Dronk boss room now has button prompts for computer input

Dungeon Maker - Tavarin
Heyo,

You may be wondering why it's been a while since the last update. The simple answer is Elden Ring. I'm addicted, and did not work on Dungeon Maker as much as I should have over the last few weeks, so I'm a little late in adding content to the game.

But I'm back to working on DM, and have made a few changes and additions to the game.

Bug Fixes:

I fixed a bug that was causing the map exporter to export a black image after the lighting update. I had placed the lights on the same layer as the enemies, so when I turned the enemies off so they didn't appear on the exported map I unknowingly was now also turning off the lights. Shifting things around on the layers fixed the bug, and the exporter now works with the new lighting system.

Another bug was introduced in the eraser update that prevented the DM from adding enemies to the encounter maps during a game, as the placer was looking for the eraser which didn't exist in this game scene. I fixed this by only having the game look for the eraser in the map making scenes, so this should no longer be an issue.

The last bug I found was sometimes players would not be able to enter a game after exiting without restarting the program. I fixed this by making sure the network manager is destroyed when you go back to the main menu, so that it doesn't cause any conflicts when the game tries to start it when joining a new game.

Content Updates:

When an enemy dies it will now automatically be removed from the DM's battle tracker, so that it can be easily ignored on future turns.

A simple movement tracker has been added that will tell the player or DM know how far a player or enemy has moved on their turn. This doesn't limit movement in case a player wants to use a dash action, or another effect affects their movement, but will simply let you know how many feet you've moved so you don't have to count squares.

Enemies and NPCs under control of the DM will now open doors as they pass through them.

Ranged area spells can now have a duration added to them for spells that utilize concentration to remain on the field. Once cast these spells will create a circular icon on the map corresponding to their size. Any player or enemy that moves into this spell area, or begins their turn within it, will have the spells damage done to them.

Each player can only control one of these spells at a time, and casting another duration spell will eliminate any currently cast one. These spells can be ended by pressing the end spell button, and will automatically end if the player casting it leaves the game.

Players can also move their duration spells by pressing the move spell button. They can then click a new location for the spell, which will count as 'ramming' any creature in the new location, and perform the spells effect on them.


That's all the updates I have right now, and with my Elden Ring addiction slowing down I will get back to working on DM more, and getting you all more features and content.

Downfall - A Slay the Spire Fan Expansion - Vex'd
Disabled the 'what mod is this from?' window in the Steam version, where no other mods can be added anyway.

Fixed an incorrect change in the last hotfix regarding Champ's Backstep card. It is intended to be a defensive stance entering card.

Added a small window during boss fights that displays the 'lightbulb' buff text, making each boss's mechanic more visible. This will gain a config option to disable the window in a later update.

Automaton's Overload is now named Copy Paste (to avoid naming conflict with Guardian's new Overload card)

Hexaghost's Heat Shield is now 1-cost (0-cost upgraded), has no base block, is not Ethereal, but removes all Soulburn on use.

Automaton's Iterate is now Uncommon.

Hermit Act 1 Boss now uses the Concentrate visual effect (glowing red eye)

Hexaghost - Fixed Inferno Ghostflame resetting progress every turn.

Hexaghost - Fixed a minor text issue with Speedrun's buff text.

Snecko - Fixed Muddled cards still having green cost text after their cost is reset at end of turn.

Additional updates/polish to Korean and Chinese localizations.

Truncated some Guardian gem text while the gem is socketed to reduce number of lines on cards with many sockets. 'Gain temporary...' truncated to 'Gain temp. ', and 'Add a <card> to your hand' truncated to 'Gain a <card>'.

The Evil Within now applies block before dealing damage, a small change but consistent with similar effects like Dash.

Highlighting in Silent 3 fight fixed for cards that temporarily have been reduced in cost.

Gremlins' Steal effect is now a keyword, clarifying that it does reduce enemy's as well as raising your own.

The update includes improved environment sprites and a lot of new things:

  • Two new playable characters: Necromancer and Engineer.
  • "Laboratory" sublocation, which can be accessed by purchasing an engineer.
  • Book of spells.
  • New reward system.
  • NPC Shaman that increases the level of the hero.
  • Sublocation "Saloon".
  • New spells.

  • Now the Back button of the Puzzles correctly returns to the Photobook page of the girl that you were playing with.

PHOTOBOOK
