- Fix for crash that can occur when calculating lighting for a player. - Fix for full screen not always using the default monitor resolution. - Fix for pausing not actually pausing the game. - Fix for a crash in the dedicated server when a gamer cannot be found.
Fixed a bug where talking to the duck dogs would crash the game...
small tweak to the ending
Slight nerf to Fish damage
Changed when enemies trigger in the graveyard to make the fight a bit more exciting.
The swamp was definitely a pain point, I've spent more time making that level less annoying than probably any time working on any other level, hopefully its fun now and not just a huge pain that makes people quit
In 3.1.0, the crouch had a height value of 140. A mistake in 3.1.1 caused it to become 100. While this was a mistake, I liked the new utility I saw from the crouch in tournament play. That being said, it's very strong right now, so I've reverted it a little. It's still much closer to the good crouch than the old one, but hopefully more reasonable.
UI Changes:
Fixed a framerate issue with the menus, buttons, logos etc.
These should all play at the intended framerate now, on all monitors.
Removed the Matchmaking button.
One of the most common complaints I get about this game is that nobody is on matchmaking. Indeed, most people find matches in the discord or in private. I have removed the button temporarily to try and avoid confusion. In the future, I will be investigating more options to connect to players.
All of these changes were in 3.2.0, which was slated to release around now. But as the month rolls on, I realize I am not finding the time to work on that update. I decided to bring these features forward while I continue to work on the core of 3.2.0, which is coming soon. In the next update, look forward to cross-platform multiplayer with Itch.io, a new game mode, and some more.
(Or, perchance, you can access the new gamemode right now in the discord!)
Today marks a rather special occassion, as exactly one year ago, on March 15th our dinosaur Twitter acount went live! Man, a year already... Time really does fly, huh?
And now, 2479 tweets and lots of love later, we decided it would be a perfect opportunity to update the game to version 1.3.3 as well, since we've gathered a few fixes over the past few weeks! So, what's new in the newest version? Mostly text changes and updates, as while fixing one issue, we've noticed one peculiar thing...
due to a code oversight, the cursor state wasn't updated after the pebble throwing window in Undercave when the "keep cursor item" option was selected in the options, and had to be manually cleared with a right-click. The issue has been now fixed, and the cursor always reverts to a default one.
one message box in Residential Wall was not displayed correctly, and was fixed.
changed one message in the beginning of Scattered Woods, so it will be even more clear what to do next.
due to another oversight (...the joy of being an indie dev!), several text messages in various points of the game were omitted from the final script. All of them have been restored in 1.3.3 (several messages in Scattered Woods, Fungilla and the late-game section in Residential Wall/Fungilla at night).

Phew, that's a lot of text fixes, eh? Hopefully all of them will make the game even more enjoyable for you! And while we're at it, that's all of the little things we wanted to share with you today. As always, remember you're always welcome to join our Discord community, or follow our aforementioned Twitter acount! Remember to give some wishlist love for our pal Zid, the star of our upcoming game, too!
