To all Conqueror's Blade players: We received plenty of player feedback regarding balance in the Highlanders season, and so we've decided to make some changes in the new season.
I. Analysis of the Underlying Issue
Based on player feedback, we've learned that the current state of combat and our development speed aren't fully aligned. Previously, our strategy with outdated inferior units has been to remake them with new mechanics, however, the speed at which we push out these remakes just won't keep up with the game's updates. Instead of the gap growing closer, the difference between units has been increasing. Thus, we've decided to roll out smaller but quicker changes to remedy balance issues.
II. Ideas on Changes
Increase in Scope: Balance change will cover more heroes, units and runes.
Increase in Frequency: We will increase the rate at which we roll out these balance changes, making them part of general updates.
Control Scope: Our balance changes will be targeting the stats of units and the damage of hero skills. We won't change the mechanics of heroes and units, but instead work toward greater balance by slight number adjustments.
Iterated Changes: We will analyze and reference the results of each balance chance, and from there continue to improve our strategy of combating imbalance.
III. Coming Changes
The following balance changes will go live with the weekly update on March 24.
Hero Changes:
1. Shortsword & Shield [Kick] III:
Adjusted the blunt damage of the first strike to 160% + 963 (was 150% and +993 points).
Adjusted the blunt damage of the second strike to 172% + 1,083 (was 163% and +1,086 points).
Adjusted the blunt damage of the third strike to 186% + 1,107 (was 176% and +1,174 points).
2. Pike [Wandering Dragon]
Reduced the second strike's damage and armor penetration to 12% (was 15%).
Reduced the duration of the third strike's 30% movement speed boost to 3 seconds (was 3.5 seconds).
3. Bow [Bodkin-Tipped]
Increased the duration to 4.5 seconds (was 4 seconds).
Fixed a bug where the duration didn't always last 4 seconds.
Adjusted the slashing damage of the first strike to 105% + 1,891 (was 105% and +1,791 points).
Adjusted the slashing damage of the second strike to 120% + 2,091 (was 120% and +1,991 points).
Adjusted the slashing damage of the third strike to 140% + 2,291 (was 140% and +2,191 points).
Adjusted the slashing damage of the fourth strike to 160% + 2,491 (was 160% and +2,391 points).
8. Longsword & Shield [Sally Forth] I:
Adjusted the slashing damage of the first strike to 150% + 2,011 (was 150% and +1,901 points).
Adjusted the blunt damage of the second strike to 274% + 1,851 (was 274% and +1,731 points).
Adjusted the piercing damage of the third strike to 250% + 3,368 (was 250% and +3,168 points).
II:
Adjusted the slashing damage of the first strike to 150% + 2,127 (was 150% and +2,189 points).
Adjusted the blunt damage of the second strike to 274% + 2,134 (was 274% and +1,934 points).
Adjusted the piercing damage of the third strike to 250% + 3,759 (was 250% and +3,649 points).
III:
Adjusted the slashing damage of the first strike to 157% + 2,775 (was 157% and +2,601 points).
Adjusted the blunt damage of the second strike to 288% + 2,574 (was 288% and +2,244 points).
Adjusted the piercing damage of the third strike to 263% + 4,885 (was 263% and +4,336 points).
9. Maul [Combat Dismount]
Adjusted the blunt damage to 225% (was 195%).
Fixed a bug where the actual damage didn't match that of the description.

Trials of the Summoned Beasts

Trials of the Summoned Beasts is an event where you can get accessories inspired by summoned beasts. These accessories can be alchemized in Godforge Alchemy. Alchemize them to create powerful equipment!
In addition, this event will be held regularly. Alchemy materials, summoned beast medals, and battle tickets will carry over to the next event, so you can play at your own pace.
*We plan to add other types of accessories in the future.
Beast Mania

Beast Mania is an event that only monsters can participate in. Play this event to get monster-only gear and prisms. Monster only equipment can be greatly enhanced with godforge alchemy!
In addition, if you clear the Nightmare quest that can only be played with a single monster unit, you’ll get a stamp for that monster. Do your best to clear these quests!
In addition, this event will be held regularly. The exchange item Beast Anima will carry over to the next event, so you can play at your own pace.
*This time, you can get Gobl- and Gaoul- only equipment and stamps. More monsters will be added in future updates.
Collect Pokkle Cookies

Battle Scars After each wave, the fighter with the highest damage taken that wave permanently gains +400 health and 3% attack speed.
Divine Blessing Gives a fighter +2400 health and +18% attack speed. If the fighter dies, the buff is permanently lost.

Supercharged supply chain! The Card Trader now changes cards every day, instead of every week. Additionally, there is now greater variance in rarity. For example, he can offer 3 legendaries some days, instead of the usual 2.
New Feature: Ladder Points
Players are now better rewarded for reaching and staying at the top of the ladder throughout the entire season!
Ladder Points (LP) are earned by the top 100 ranked players each week as follows:
Rank 1: +2000 LP
Rank 2-10: +800 LP
Rank 11-25: +400 LP
Rank 26-50: +200 LP
Rank 51-100: +100 LP
An additional 1-100 LP is awarded based on your exact rank
Ranks are calculated and LP is awarded every Monday at 12:00am UTC.

Speed Up The battle phase in all modes now plays 10% faster, including mythium generation.
Reducing game time without impacting gameplay.
Guild War New Hours: 2-10pm UTC (previously was 5-9pm UTC)
This gives players more time to complete Guild War goals and is fairer to players in different time zones.

Game Balance
King Health increased by ~15% on waves 2-11
Shutdowns - Players are slightly less likely to go on fire on and before wave 11 when playing Cartel or against Castle - Players are slightly less likely to go on fire when the enemy team is saving mythium
Early game mythium saving is currently dominant in high Elo. King buffs make early game saves less threatening, and shutdown tweaks make it less likely for long-savers to be rewarded with a shutdown. These changes increase the viability of income sends and king upgrades in the early game.
Leak Gold When the enemy team leaks, you are now guaranteed a minimum of 1 gold per leak (instead of 0)
This nerfs Fiesta in Classic, notably on waves 1 and 3.
Sprint 2v2 - Bonus movement speed: 150 → 100
Mastermind Playstyles
Chaos - Bonus income: 6 → 5
Chaos is performing statistically well in low Elo and is also a point of frustration in high Elo.
Legion Spells
Magician - Mana regeneration: 0.42 → 0.44
Protector Now transfers the aura on revival (but does not double-dip on the bonus health). Currently, this interaction only applies to Eternal Wanderer/Samurai Soul
Fighters
Proton / Atom - Attack speed: 1.09 → 1.12
Oathbreaker - Health: 1110 → 1130
Angler - Junior Fisherman: Mana gained per stack: 1.75 → 2
Harpy / Sky Queen - Attack speed: 1.65 → 1.72
The above units have low pick and win rates.
Windhawk - Attack speed: 1.26 → 1.23
Violet - Attack speed: 0.9 → 0.93
Shifting power from Windhawk into Violet because: - Windhawk is over-performing and is the highest win rate roll in the game - Violet doesn’t feel rewarding enough to get early game
Warg - Health: 960 --> 950
Lioness - Attack speed: 1.11 --> 1.09
Alpha Male - Dominion: Damage and damage reduction debuff: -5% --> -7%
Warg has a high pick and win rate. Its tank-DPS versatility and strong stats crowd out other rolls.
Sovereign - Damage: 236 --> 226 - Final Judgment: 5% attack speed + 2% damage reduction → 4% attack speed + 250 health
Holy Avenger and Sovereign were intended to be off-tanks, rather than raw DPS units. Increasing their tankiness and power on their own but decreasing their oppressiveness with lifesteal.
Mercenaries
Attack projectile speeds of all ranged mercenaries increased by ~20%
During the Swift Strike event everything comes down to the wire. Find the right strategy, allocate your resources in the best possible way, ally with the right powers and do all of it FAST! In this event time can be your biggest ally or your biggest enemy! To win you have to be swift like a Luchs tank! There is no time in battle!
