I'm happy to announce that soundStrider will become free-to-play on Steam later this month. My goal is to bundle all paid copies of soundStrider with my next project when available.

Toy Tanks has tons of brand new content to be showcased here for the Next Fest account. This is a project I've been working on since pre-covid! (Do we still remember those days?) I have a bunch of cool stuff to share with you all: New Enemies, Hazards, Boss Battles, Levels, Modifiers, and much more! I am really excited!
This game has really been a labor of love for me, it's something I've wanted to do for many years but finally mustered up the motivation to commit to once I saw Silohawk's video on Wii Play Tanks. That game meant so much to me when I was younger. It's hard to describe the impact it's had on my life. And yeah, It's just one game, but It came to me during a time when I really needed it. Ever since then It's really just hung out in the back of my mind as another vessel for good memories. Making Toy Tanks is my opportunity to give back to that game, to that memory, to do for someone else what that game did for me.
It's my first game and although it may be rough around the edges, I am proud of what I've created here.
If anyone of you have the time to check out the free demo please do so, feedback is always appreciated, we have a discord server with a wonderfully kind community helping to support the game, this is the perfect place to offer up ideas, suggestions, and criticism, I will read it all.
I hope to bring a few more smiles into the world, and I hope that this project can help me do just that.
About a year ago I hired a programmer, Chris Wilson, to start making all that I want a reality. While I started with, and still use the Corgi Engine, my lack of skill in that department forced me to work with what the template provided. And all of that brings me to these major updates. We're still using chapter one to build all the new upgrades, abilities, fixes and additions. Chris has been able to take all of my art and ideas and help push it to the next level in the game.

Bug Fixes
I'm sorry but I didn't take notes as there were so many to address while dealing with new ones that popped up. I'd probably need 400 more lines of text to wrap them up. And that would just bore you.
There are a few things that have not been addressed yet.
1. The controller issue on the main menu may still require you to unplug and plug it back in. That's a quick fix if it's not working.
2. Playstation Controller is not supported yet. You can use one, but there's an issue where the dash only goes in one direction, reverse.
3. No Mac version yet. The only excuse I have is that I want to make sure it works perfectly on the PC first.
Hello, everyone! Thanks to your feedbacks, we added full controller support to STHELL. We deliberately didn't add rumble, at least for now, cause basically you would have a non stop vibrating controller in your hands, due to the heavy non stop shooting nature of the game. We also added settings for iron sight sensibilty as well. Enjoy the game!
