Euro Truck Simulator 2 - London
We are just one day away from the release of Valve’s Steam Deck, which means that this is the perfect time to bring you up to speed in regards to the support of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator on this new gaming system.



Our developers were extremely excited to work on this interesting project and they have done everything it takes for players to enjoy the smoothest possible experience. In addition to making some tweaks necessary to support this handheld gaming PC, our games will include several special bindings, along with a basic version of touchscreen support (clicking on the screen to select menu buttons). Moreover, we’d like to point out that by choosing to play on Steam Deck you will not be left behind when you will want to drive along with your friend in the Convoy mode, as "cross-platform" gameplay will be supported.



The development of the Steam Deck support went hand in hand with overall gamepad support, which, apart from resulting in general small improvements, adds a new mini-feature into our games - the description of gamepad mapping. Simply put, this means you will have a bindings legend on the screen to always be sure which button has what purpose. This addition represents another step-up in our continuous support of gamepads and steering wheels, and we hope we will be able to push it further in the future.



We hope you will enjoy playing ETS2 or ATS on the Steam Deck and we can’t wait for your feedback on your experience. Martha Is Dead - WIREDGary


Hello everyone - taking a brief moment from all of the launch day chaos and excitement to pop in and say 'Thanks' - seriously, it's been one hell of a ride up til this point and it's nice to take a step back and just take it all in you know?

Right at the finish line as LKA wrapped up development on Martha Is Dead, we asked the dev team to record their thoughts on the journey as a whole for a special episode of Martha Uncovered, you can catch the episode below, as well as some personal words from Luca to you, the fans :



"Hello everyone,

I am Luca Dalcò, LKA's art director and writer.
I'm here to talk about Martha is Dead, our new game that will be released today!
Today…needless to say, I, and the whole team, are very excited and nervous!
The moment of release is a special one.
Years of work and passion become something real.
All the passion, all the emotions, all the love we put into the game becomes a public thing and we feel naked, it's inevitable!

It is very difficult for me to describe Martha is Dead in a few words:
It is a psychological horror/thriller that follows the dramatic story of a girl who suffers a great trauma in the context of a world where war is unleashed with all its insane violence. It is set in real places, in Chiantishire, Tuscany in a historical context that is also real, that of July 1944.
But it is much more than that, and it is above all an intimate relationship between the player and Giulia and her way of seeing the world.

With Martha is Dead our main aim is to convey feelings, emotions, so my advice is to try to live the game by favouring emotionality over rationality.
Not that you don't need to reason in order to understand all the details of the story, far from it!
But I think that at least the first time you play it you should let yourself be captured by the atmosphere, let yourself be dragged into Giulia's mind, more and more deeply.

Martha is Dead required more than 5 years of development, constantly driven by passion.
Additions, improvements, changes have made the game much richer than what was originally thought... we never wanted to stop developing and telling Martha's world: the protagonist with her dystopian family, the raging war, the lies, betrayals, the presence of a past still present, religion, superstition.

But here we are, the game is going to be released!

We wanted to create something special to launch Martha is Dead.
The thing I cared about most was communicating the atmosphere you will breathe in Martha's universe.
On this idea the launch trailer was born.
Julia tells about a nightmare that blurs into reality. A nightmare that is not present in the game, but that, like all the contents outside the game, serves to deepen Martha’s universe.
The whole thing has been realised with Unreal Engine, in real time, as if it were a scene from the game.
A brief meeting with Giulia before entering her mind!

I will never thank enough all those who have been following us since The Town of Light, but also all those who will trust us and immerse themselves in the experience offered by Martha is Dead.

The 50th Abyssal Proving Grounds event is nearly upon us! To celebrate this milestone, you’ll be able to get stuck into a classic 1v1 battleship brawl for 48 hours, from 26-28 February. What better way to celebrate Friendship Week, after all!

As with all Proving Grounds, you can expect a few twists to keep you on your toes when it comes to fitting your ships!

All Tech I battleships qualify for the encounter, but the following items are banned:

  • Weapon Disruptors
  • Shield Boost Amplifiers
  • Shield Rechargers
  • Shield Power Relays
  • Shield Flux Coils
  • Core Defense Field Purger Rigs
  • Core Defense Capacitor Safeguard Rigs
  • Core Defense Operational Solidifier Rigs
  • Auxiliary Nano Pump Rigs
  • Nanobot Accelerator Rigs
In addition, modules are limited to Meta 5, and Tech II rigs are also banned. Ships can only fit a maximum of one Local Repair Module (Shield or Armor).

While in the arena you’ll also enjoy a 100% bonus to all overheating benefits, with the exception of EWAR.

Get your thinking caps on, polish your ship fits, and get ready to go one on one for leaderboard glory!

The four new villagers are arriving in Hokko today as part of the Narrative Update!

This new update also includes:

- A new intro to the game 🥰
- The ability to create furniture from pre-existing designs 🎨

  • Completely reworked introduction to the game, initial progression and narrative.
  • Ability to create furniture from pre-existing designs
  • Four additional characters: Yara, Juno, Roderick and Paula

Changes
  • Added spring joints to villagers ears to make them springy
  • Community: Player created lights can now be turned on/off
  • Saving makes a backup which it will automatically restore from if the save process doesn't complete successfully
  • Replaced sprinting ring UI with sweat effect
  • Worked into villager heads, eyes, expressions
  • Enabled "look around" on villager eyes to add more life
  • Community: Added toggles for avatar freckles and cheek highlight
  • You can now move flowers placed indoors
  • Community: Balancing tweaks on Fishing Tournaments
  • Game now cleans up unused custom content files, reducing the size of large saves
  • Community: Added all community theme suggestions to the game for future creator challenges
  • Added thumbnails for hair styles in appearance screen
  • Community: Sleeping before 4am and choosing "next day" will sleep until 8am instead.
  • Objects loaded from saves now done in batches, speeding up loading times on heavy levels (like the Meadow)
  • Blueprints tweaks: Removed the small storage blueprint, tweaked size requirements on blueprints, small object will now always be placed on top of things, large object always placed under.
  • Blueprints now are unlocked through initial progression gameplay and so are removed from Carpenter Store

Fixes
  • Fixed popping lighting in Moss' shop
  • Villagers no longer rotate and become pushable while sitting on chairs in the Inn
  • Fixed bug where villagers would keep emoting & talking after you interrupt them during a conversation
  • Community: Improved placement of fishing chests
  • Community: Improved placement of weeds
  • Added "clean up" for weeds and chests that have ended up in a bad location
  • Community: Fixed issue causing detailed custom creations to be displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed camera popping
  • Community: Fix for undo queue issues on Painting Tool
  • Fixed awkward starting layout in Lazy villagers homes
  • Community: Better handling of interactables and furniture, in other words: you can now talk to people on bridges.
  • Fixed bug where a new save slot wouldn't be created if a directory with the new save slot's number already exists
  • Fixed bug where highlight marker would stay visible when boarding the train
  • Community: Improved placement of villagers in homes
  • Fix for floating visitors in Inn
  • Community: Workshop now goes transparent when player is behind it
  • Fix for being able to place things on stairs and bridges
  • Community: Fix for storage showing it has items when it's empty, preventing selling and use in design tool
  • Deleting a save slot when others exist will set the new active slot to the first slot, instead of an empty "new game" slot
  • Community: Fixed an issue where fish would ignore bait
  • Fixes for items getting lost in storage
  • Fix for issue causing some savedata to not get saved properly

The demo just updated to version 1.3.0 including following QoL features!
  • Smoother controls
  • Adjustable transparency for blueprints
  • Colorblind mode
