Space Wreck - Kamaz from Pahris.Entertainment
It's that time of the year again - a new major update for the game, with lots of bug fixes/ease-of-use improvements but also a plethora of new things as well. Check out below the list of things coming with this version:

New UI layout (again=)
Because the screen slate (datapad) is the primary tool you use, the whole UI is now centered around it. Now everything you need is in one place, easy to get a read from a glance.

BIG UI
Screen slate now zooms when opened - it's a better use of available screen space and improves readability. Also, let's condense even more content in the slate without compromises. This was actually suggested in one of the excellent Clan Iwan playthrough videos.

It's especially good for inventory management as now you have two columns that fit way more of your clutter in a single screen. Same with the looting screen.

Gun toting
Now you should be more careful when whipping out a gun in public - NPCs might not like it. And you get a limited but special set of dialog options if you initiate dialog with a weapon in hand. Just keep in mind - they can keep a grudge!

Customizable map scrolling speed
Map scrolling was reworked for this update and there's also a slider to adjust its speed to your liking.

Nearby object highlighting
Hold down the SHIFT button and nearby (based on your PERCEPTION) interactive objects will pop up. This is a very simple feature that was requested by some players and content creators.

Foggy visor outside
If you step outside, your helmet's visor slowly fogs up. That's another hint that you are outside, in the vacuum, and should be careful to have your suit up and in fair condition.

Did you know...?
Now, while loading the game, it'll show short GIF animations highlighting some less obvious but useful features.

We won't mention every single of them but there are lots of small and big under-the-hood changes (e.g. in combat) as well intended to improve the overall state of the game.

Yet there is also one big and noticeable change that is hardly visible - we have a new soundtrack by Kyle Misko. Go, get the demo and check it out!

As always, we will be monitoring Steam discussion boards for your feedback! Good fuel hunting!

WizardChess - TwoPM Studios
Hey everyone, we're hard at work putting the finishing touches on the next update right now and it should be out very soon. In the meantime we've just published a roundup of all the work done in Janary. Check it out :)

Thanks for your continued support!

Dots and Dashes - turkey1000
Tweak to Computer Level 7
Primeval - Exhibyte
đŸ”¹Rearranged the graphics settings choices.

đŸ”¹Added a third shadow graphics setting that controls the overall shadow quality. If you have all three of the shadow options turned up you'll get really good looking shadows but it will cost you some FPS. Try to find the right combination of shadow quality levels for your computer for optimal performance and visuals.

đŸ”¹The graphics option Gamma slider has been hidden because it is not currently being used.

đŸ”¹Enabled the graphics option "Vegetation Density" and added the graphics option "Vegetation Distance" this should give a little more fine-tuning capabilities for your performance and visuals.
Hats and Hand Grenades - pabi
Today's update includes a new hat and a bunch of quality of life patches:

- Bunny ears!
- Music overlap fix
- Unequipped hats drift to different spawn points instead of clumping together on one
- Improved mouse grenade aiming
- Various bug and crash fixes

I've got something big in the works for the next update. Stat tuned and thanks for playing!

I think I'm making these Demo updates too detailed. Fixed a lot of abilities like Economics, Naturalism, Mining, Smithing (not Blacksmith anymore because you can work with all metals). Item prices are now modified by condition, faction respect, and the Economics ability (boosted by Education skill).

Got rid of the Alchemist class and combined it with Scholar, then added an extra ability to all the other classes. So now all the other classes are a bit more powerful. As of right now, the Streetwise and Linguistics abilities do nothing. On the next update, Streetwise will let you gather information in towns and contact the black market at any time (in town). Also, I need to make more Bluffing dialogue options and books to translate with Linguistics. So the Merchant and Scholar are still underpowered classes, but they are getting there.

Also: a few more updates to character creation, fixed some minor bugs, changed Lurkwood to Tuskwood so I'm not ripping off the Forgotten Realms setting, and main player sex is now a reputation (not a script variable) so that it can be transferred when you import your party into another story.

Complete list of changes:

-Fixed shopping discounts, new script discount parameter, implemented Economics ability.
-Main 5 party members are automatically selected after moving to a new map.
-Newly-spawned mobiles now start with max Health and Meta, healed all mobs in story.
-Changed player sex to a reputation, not a variable (to be exported with party to other stories).
-Added new script command: "pickParty" to pick a party member (1 to 5), beds now heal whole party.
-Fixed bug from last patch where you can use/get objects from 2 paces away (now it's only talking).
-Changed Lurkwood name to Tuskwood (Lurkwood is a place in the Forgotten Realms setting).
-Changed Blacksmith ability to "Smithing" (all kinds of metals and ore).
-Finished the Mining ability and added a few ore veins to the world.
-Outlined mouse cursor in yellow to make it more visible.
-Added more abilities at trainers and training dialogue.
-Combined Alchemist and Scholar into one class.
-Character creation now displays class skills.
-Favius will now only talk to the main player.
-Updated Player's Manual and Builder's Manual.
