Hi, everyone!

Here’s some Monday morning news!

It’s another week of game dev and new thing are brewing!

I have FINALLY (this is the third iteration) managed to create an arcing projectile that actually WORKS correctly AND looks good for the top-down perspective. And I’m really excited about this because it means cooler enemies which also creates opportunities for more interesting level design. Also, it’s fun!

I’m currently working on a subway/metro level, which is inspired by the Stockholm metro system. I'm having a lot of fun imagining a metro system that is slowly turning into an underground cave system, full of dangers and monsters.

Speaking of monsters, I'm also testing out a couple of new enemies (something about that arcing projectile), and I'm hoping that I'll be able to show you some of these enemies soon!

Rocket Rumble - rsvp asap
Hey Rocket Rumblers!

After the holiday break we're back and working hard towards the next Rocket Rumble update. Coming next month, our planned update includes a Valentines event, further upgrades to the menus and more!

February is Coming..

And that means Valentines Day is right around the corner! We've been working on a Valentines event that we can't wait to share! The event will feature new event themed missions which of course means brand new cosmetics to earn! The dates will be announced soon so stay tuned for more information!

Menu Improvements

If you've played Rocket Rumble since the December update you might have noticed our menus have gotten a little bit of a facelift - but we're not finished yet! We've still got some improvements to the menu scheduled for our next update.

Gameplay Polish

We've also been working on some overall polish to the gameplay, to make the experience a little smoother! As always we'd love to hear your feedback at any stage of development! We have a community Discord where you can post bug reports, submit feedback, and help us make decisions on future content!

We're looking forward to our next update and we're excited for more things to come!

Hello, friends

First update of 2022 is now being tested on the PTS and will hit live servers on February 1st.
It will deliver more flexible and player-controlled spawn system, improved special sound positioning with Steam Audio, new location and fixes for known bugs.

All players progress will be wiped with this update!

New features:

  • New respawn system - now all players can choose a respawn point from available ones on the respawn screen map
  • Steam Audio integration - significant improvement for environment sounds spacial positioning
  • Base building availability zones expanded
  • New location “Silo” - between lower Safe Zone and Dubovoy
  • New furniture added to houses interior
  • World map icons redesign
  • Shot sound attenuation based on the distance to the shooter tweaked
  • “Press Enter” death screen removed

Bugs fixed:

  • Maklok lake not making sounds when walking on the shoreline
  • Main menu changes to the sound settings are not applied upon server connection
  • Map legend’s position is shifted on the spawn screen
  • Player’s body marker info is missing from the map’s legend
  • Boxes used for craft no longer have collision
  • Player’s Base will be destroyed if the owner or registered person has no logins to the server within a week
  • Traders have wrong items count if this item was added to the starter kit
  • Wrong number of logs displayed in the message after player cuts down a tree
  • Autorun works with main menu opened
  • Game menu and Chat windows remain opened after player’s death
  • Right click menu is not always properly opened upon right mouse button click
  • Wrong items spawn cooldown after moving an item into the crafted box
  • Sometimes weapon modifiers placed in inventory work incorrectly
  • Sometimes player gets disconnected when shuffling certain items in inventory
  • Markers are not fully visible at the edges of the screen
  • ADS mode can get stuck after Esc is pressed
  • Render distance is too low for crates on player’s bases
  • Foam on water on Mid and Low graphics settings
  • PLayer can fall under the map when clinging to a concrete well

Hi there guys and girls, a new update is online.

In this update I fixed tons of bugs with the help of people who posted a lot on the Discord Server. I really apreciate that :)

As you may notice the mount system had changed and your currently catchet mounts are poorly gone.
It has changed to a summoned based mount system. For this I added the 4 possible mounts.



This is just one of them named Phenx. You can unlock mounts by talking to the Tree Spirit which is located at the biggest tree in the world. Go find him and see what you will need to awake a mount :)

There are changes in the building system too. That means Pillars are supporting roof parts as well. I know it is not perfect but I will work further to make it perfect.

Quick patch to add camera options and fix bugs introduced by the last patch.

Bug
  • Fixed bug introduced by last patch that triggered multi-jump when wall jumping
  • Fixed bug introduced by last patch that didn't restore movement if you restarted a level after you hit the goal

Options
  • Smoothed out camera values to make it more stable, feel free to feedback on this if its better or worse
  • Added an option to lock camera on player, this removes all LERP and movement, locking the player in the center

We fixed some exploits reported to us by discord users so, without any further ado :

  1. Fixed a bug when player can occasionally get stuck on obelisk
  2. Fixed bug where "Meet Locust" achievment was not possible
  3. Fixed bug with unlocking "Void Terror" achievment
  4. Fixed bug with unlocking "Army Slayer" achievment
  5. Fixed bug with unlocking "Just a warmup" achievment

We also plan to support Void slayer with further stability improvment, bug fix and balance support!

Madmind: After Hours Team!
Realms of Magic - Zakharn
Hey! Today's update is a smaller one focused primarily on fixes and minor changes. However, this is only a small fraction of what've been doing in the past couple of months. We've been busy finalizing the last realm Blackwall and working on a complete rebalance of combat and all professions.

We also have solid plans for what's after the 1.0 release, however we are not ready to share the details yet. All we can say at the moment is that all Realms of Magic fans should be very happy for the things to come.

We are getting very close to the full 1.0 release, but we still have some important work left to do. We will publish a more extensive post detailing our Roadmap to Full Release in the upcoming days.

    • Significantly buffed Block for the player character, now blocking uses much, much less Stamina, making it a much more viable option
