Bug fixes and user interface improvements.
Ghost Exile - LostOne
Patch v1.0.1

-Now the electric shield and the boiler can be interacted with using the USE key
-A hint has been added in the lower right corner of the screen when you pick up an item (phone)
-The missing electric fuse have a transparent texture
-Increased brightness of Map previews when selected in the lobby
-Added small instructions-hints when pointing at the electric shield or boiler
-Now, at the average difficulty level, you need to find only one fuse instead of two, at the madman difficulty there are only two fuses
-Now, if you click ready and start, and the card is still not selected, the order selection button will light up
-Now you can light a candle with the left mouse button not only in your hands
-Increased the chance of a ghost response on the Ouija board
-Now when you approach the Ouija board it starts to light up
-Increased decrease in sanity in the dark by 30%
-The motion sensor now does not need to be switched to another mode . if ghost gived a evidence (Infrared Motion Sensor) , the sensor turns on the orange light and emits a different beep
-The monitor of the mind - the heartbeat was removed , now there is an accurate indicator of a particular hunter, the colors were also changed to more pleasant ones
-Fixed a bug if you select the madman difficulty and abruptly start the game, the game did not start
-Now to complete the order, you need to hold down the mouse button
-Fixed the sound of the EMF detector ( now it can 't be heard on the whole map )
-Fixed screamer ( Mass harassment )
-Increased ghost activity (interactions with objects, and the issuance of evidence)
-Reduced the increase in maximum experience when leveling up, rewards have been increased almost twice
-Fixed bugs on maps ( Middle house ( 1,2,3 ) , Small house 6 )

Hello everyone it's 2022! So good to see you all again.

I've been working on this patch since before the holidays but they have a funny way of derailing plans right? :D

I've been combing our bug-tracker, and tweaking random things people @'d me on twitter about, and it's lead to a lot of small fixes and improvements that really make the game more fun to play without less elements taking you out of the experience.

But there's some cool feature/QoL adjustments/additions that add to the game as well!

Moveset Customization Menu



As you likely already know, there is a move learner/forgetter in Frobec. When I began development I had a goal of minimalism and fast battles - get in and out quick, as I read that was something a lot of people desired in the genre, however, the game's complexity has grown significantly since then and it's not always clear to players that a new move is available as they level up their monsters.

For that reason, whenever a new move is available (through using Ultra-Rare Berries, Scouting, or Battling) you'll be offered the ability to jump into the Move learner/forgetter on the spot and pick the moveset you want going forward. This should make the earlier part of the game before you reach Frobec a bit more clear and simply be much more convenient overall for everyone.

Monster Riding



Instead of "sitting" on the heads or backs of monsters, your character will now straddle/grip them. This allowed me to add a significant number of monsters to the rideable list, as they no longer need a large sittable part of their body. This has doubled the amount of monsters you can now ride around and smash up over-world random encounters with. Here's the list of new ones:

Visual Improvements



Several monsters have received overworld sprite touchups to give them a bit more character or clean up lacking ones:





Additionally Windy Province, Mill Town, Crossroads Town, Scarred Province, Humanism and Empathy Kingdom have received tile updates and visual improvements to their color schemes. I think you'll have a lot more fun wandering around and seeing the adjustments.




Next Steps

The first of three free significant DLCs coming this year is being actively worked on and will soon be complete. It offers a slew of new monsters and fun sidequests, some of which are teased in this twitter 2022 message I posted a few days ago.



I've also been hard at work on the Xbox One and PS4 launches, which will have their release dates announced in the very near future.

There will soon be another monster design contest, for a chance to get a monster you designed in Monster Crown as part of a significant QoL addition in an upcoming DLC, expect more details on that soon!

Here's a non-comprehensive list of other fixes, as the total list of small tweaks I made based on people just quickly asking for an adjustment these past two months are a bit much to list:

Added a hint for picking up a hammer (basement of an abandoned school),
The mechanics of blocking due fights have been revised: now enemy hits are blocked more effectively,
Fixed a critical bug with opening inventory under certain conditions,
Added a hint when using first-aid kits, if the character has maximum health,
Added a hint when picking up pills, if the character has a full supply,

Level "Beginning": now you can't go through the Semyon and you can't leave guest house until you talk with him again,

Fixed the disappearing dialogue with Helen if the character goes to sleep/returned from another level,
Fixed bug with the display of weapons where they could not be used (and vice versa, their disappearance, where possible),
The dialogue with the grandson will now work even after the transitions between levels,
Enemies no longer screaming an alert voice lines when character is already fallen in battle;
Balanced the replay time of enemy alert voice lines,
Fixed a bug with clinic guard's waypoints when he's going back to work,
Fixed a bug with the endless repeating of "Task completed" hint after completing the task of the Pharmacist,
Fixed some logic bugs in the side quests.

⦁ In Chasms, players were sometimes getting stuck in the "water room" when the door at the end of the hall won't open. This was the result of a larger issue that never cropped up except in some very few rooms.
⦁ The scale of weapons in the Massive Origin's hands should be correct now. This applies to your character in the world, as well as in the inventory menu.
⦁ Record of your cash earned in Arena for each stage wasn't displaying in the correct format.
⦁ Weapons destroyed after a throw will drop their broken version now, so long as that version doesn't decay on the floor (such as crappy broken hilts).

⦁ You and your squad are now properly invincible before, between, and after completing waves. This should prevent accidental deaths and other workplace accidents.

⦁ Weapon rebalance: range decreases for pistols, shotguns, and other very short weapons.
⦁ Weapon rebalance: magazine penalty tweak, so that larger mags carry greater penalties for size/recoil/recovery.
⦁ Weapon rebalance: BR7 and FNC slightly nerfed to make them fit as low-mid tier rifles.
⦁ Shock Sword and Axe moved from the Quartermaster to the Blackmarket (just like the Dozer Model E).
⦁ In the post-game interactive outro for Arena, your name will be shown correctly instead of as "Player".
