PATCH NOTES
DEEP JUNGLE AND BAROQUE RUINS
We added two minor late-game regions, the deep jungle and baroque ruins.
Made significant changes to the worldmap to accommodate the new regions.
Added new creatures: deep slumberling, purple jell, trash abbot, and goatfolk qlippoth.
Added new flora: nachash tree and nimbus beam.
Added rare urberry bushes.
LATE-GAME HISTORIC SITES
We added historic sites for the period 1, 2, and 3 sultans. The number of historic sites per game now follows this pattern:
Period 5 sultan: 2 sites
Period 4 sultan: 2 sites
Period 3 sultan: 2 sites
Period 2 sultan: 1 site
Period 1 sultan: 1 site
We made mid and late-game historic sites have fewer levels. They now max out at around depth 7.
More changes to historic site population are likely to come.

BALANCE
If you have the Hooks for Feet defect, your dismembered hooks now regrow.

Made a small adjustment to the creature tier calculation.
POPULATION REFACTOR
We're in the process of refactoring our systems for populating maps and creature inventories. Creature and equipment distributions may have changed somewhat (but not drastically).
Humanoid creatures, particularly snapjaws and goatfolk, now rarely spawn with a wider range of equipment.
Snapjaw scavengers now occasionally spawn without equipment.
MODDING
We're in the process of retiring encounter tables in favor of population tables. This may affect mods.
Creatures that were previously equipped via encounter table equipment builders are now implemented as multiple creature objects with the AggregateWith tag (ex: Snapjaw Scavenger).

Hello, Saikono here! Hurrah! it's finally the time! Our Bunny finally has a treat for you. We shoved this small present hidden under your Christmas tree (as late as it might be for our Western audience) so happy New Year! The new episode will feature new new characters, more branching plot, as well as different outcomes depending on your choices in previous episodes, and also one small but curious addition: mini-games. Sadly, because of the engine's technical limitations, saves from the older versions of the game won't work in this one, so you'll have to replay everything up to EP. 3 manually or just skip the text by activating the "skip all text" option in the settings an pressing the Ctrl key. We're deeply sorry for this inconvenience. This whole year our team was working really hard at polishing the game and keeping and the quality bar as high as. Now then, we'll be holding our breath in anticipation of your reaction. If you like the game, be sure to tell your friends about it (or maybe post about it on twitter, pretty please?). Your support matters a lot to us as a small indie team. Let's hope all of can us enjoy the upcoming year together! Cheers!
We have a (little late) holiday gift for everyone today! 🥳 Update 1.1 is out now on Steam & Xbox and includes a lot of new features, improvements and fixes!
Wimba Island Shrines
Shrines weren't challenging and didn't require players to do much besides feed jellies. Each shrine now requires relics of different shapes and colors.
The shapes and colors required change each season. Happy hunting!
Your progress for each shrine is displayed on the right side of your screen. But only for shrines you have found! And don't worry! You won't lose your progress by updating the game or changing seasons.
Competition Improvements
Competitions can now be entered in any season in the morning or afternoon. To enter, go to the competition grounds and use the sign with the trophy icon above it. You can bring a jelly or select one using the new competition popup.
This displays your opponent, how their skills compare to yours, and what prizes you can win. Progress is tracked per jelly, so you'll need to raise one that can go from rookie to grand champion in one go!
Weekly Delivery Improvements
You don't have to speak to Gabby to finish a weekly item delivery. The delivery can be completed by using the farm storage once the delivery deadline has passed.
We also added a notebook tab to help you track your item delivery progress.
Fast Travel
You can fast travel not only to the farm but also to temples that you have discovered. This will reduce backtracking when you just want to get somewhere instead of harvesting items or jellies on the way.
Fast travel by opening the Map tab of the notebook, then using the fast travel hotkey. You can then select which location to fast travel to. Fast travel now passes time based on how far you travel.
Keyboard Improvements
Keyboard hotkeys are now more consistent across every UI. We also made adjustments to the default keyboard control layout based on feedback with a focus on comfort during longer play sessions.
And more!
We've added over 40 fixes and improvements. Thank you for sticking with us and be sure to give us your feedback on our Discord server 🙂
