I have completed the framework for the Server Admin Tools and Configurations. On the "Options" Panel of the server window I have added a few more configuration options and made them visible of the client. On the Main Menu screen of the client, you can now see the server options that are set for the individual server you are playing on.

You can now also scale the crafting speed and XP for your server! For those of you who want a faster, casual experience!



For now there are only a few server options, however the framework now exists to add many more. I mostly wanted to get these main options in so people can make specific server types that fit needs of players who want a more hardcore crowd, or a more casual one.

Hello everyone!

I am excited (and a little bit nervous) to announce that my game 《Drifting : Weight of Feathers》 is going to be released tomorrow (Dec. 15th, 2021 PST)!

Thank you all for following the progress of my game and giving me feedback and bug reports! It's been a long and difficult journey and I'm happy you can stay with me until the release date!


《Drifting : Weight of Feathers》 is a fast-paced, action-oriented game. The moves Faye can do are all designed around the concept of enabling players to engage in combat and puzzle-solving while on walls or in mid-air.



Before diving into the actual gameplay, I would like to kindly ask you to first browse through her move list through menu > options > move list and make sure you know how to perform all her moves - the difference between knowing only the basics and the full list of her moves has a HUGE impact on how you would approach the game!

《Drifting : Weight of Feathers》 has a steep learning curve, however, the game is by no means difficult in the traditional sense.

Introducing the first two areas of The Last Oricru, where you will be confronted with a tough and challenging combat and the first game changing choices in the plot that will not only determine the faith of the main character Silver but also the faith of the entire planet of Wardenia.

The Last Oricru offers an enhanced gameplay experience in local co-op and can be played in a hop on / hop off style where players can join or leave the game at any time. Who will live, who will die? Who is a friend, who is a foe? And… who are you?

Okay! We've got a bunch of fixes this morning, as promised! We're going to try to get another build out by this evening with more balance-minded changes, but it's possible that might be more of a tomorrow morning kind of thing.

Oh, and ANOTHER big "Sorry, Steve!" to Steve: the last build didn't have the new Prime Dimension combat track. This one does! SORRY, STEVE!

• Dark Paragon powers now don't move around upon reverting from Transformation.

Interstellar Rift - Conquintor
The second part of our 64 bits update is ready for the experimental branch!

You can read up on the details about why this is a big change in our previous post here.

What are we changing?

We're not changing much in this update compared the previous one. We had to make sure that all engine code would be compatible with 64bit. We never really intended the game to be limited to 32bit, which meant that it took less time than anticipated to get everything up and running again.

So the game is 64bit now?

Yes, servers and clients are now 64bit, although we won't be pushing this to our main branch for at least another week.

What changes am I going to notice?

At the moment it will hopefully resolve any issues people had with loading (very) large ships in the ship editor and busy systems on the servers, which were previously areas where the game could run out of memory.


We are releasing this version on the experimental branch first. Where players can test it out and we can track down any remaining bugs.

Some things to take into consideration when playing on the experimental branch:
  • This version is not backwards compatible, making a backup of your Interstellar Rift Appdata folder is advised. Loading a galaxy will break compatibility with the current version, as will any ship that is loaded in this version. If you don't make a backup you will be forced to wait until this version goes live on the main branch.
  • Unlike the previous update, this patch is for both client and server, and can only be played together with other experimental players.
Hopefully some of you can find the time to play on the experimental version. Any crashes will be sent to us automatically if you have the option enabled. For any other issues you encounter please list them on our bug tracker: Split Polygon Bug Tracker

To enable the experimental branch, right click on Interstellar Rift in Steam, > properties > beta, and select the "experimental IR beta patches" option

Hello everyone,

  • fixed an issue where cars would take a detour by train unnecessarily - this also fixes the issue of trains getting filled up with useless stuff
  • fixed an issue where habitats upgrading / downgrading could fail and you'd be left with invalid buildings stuck inside each other

Background: The train update required some deep changes in the the way pathfinding is handled. We introduced a bug, but it took time to find since the bug did not happen for everyone and it vanished when you saved and reloaded.

When loading a save with this patch, the cars inside train stations and trains are destroyed once to make sure they don't contain any old bugged cars.

We're keeping our eyes open in case more than one bug was responsible for the pathfinding weirdness. If you see pathfinding that doesn't make sense or trains carrying resources they shouldn't, please report the behavior so we know if there is still work to do. Thanks.
