DAB'S NOT DEAD - Joyhop
Hi everyone!

We want to share with you news regarding the development of DAB'S NOT DEAD and it's release.

There has been a lot of going on in the past few months that our tiny 2 person team could not really predict. We did magage to finish up Adventure mode, complete the game's soundtrack, improve Arcade mode, and overall polish the game in many ways that surely bring us closer to the release.

However, due to personal and work circumstances we were forced to slow down with the development and it's now sure that DAB'S NOT DEAD will not be released in 2021.

We want to get back on track asap and the good news is that we've secured additional budget for the development, so the whole thing is going to be way less stressful for us and we'll be able to spend more time working on the game!

We're really sorry about the delay and we very much hope to release DAB'S NOT DEAD in 2022!

Conqueror's Blade - Kaeden
The sons and daughters of the Highlands have answered the call to fight for freedom, and three brand-new Seasonal Units are coming to Season X: Highlanders. The first of these new Units brings a brand-new battle mechanic to the fray: the Bagpipers (3-Star).

Historically, the bagpipes were so feared as a “weapon of war” that they were classified as such until as recently as 1996. To Scottish armies of old, bagpipes were more than just an instrument—they were a political symbol, marching their men into harm’s way to a glorious melody in the pursuit of freedom. Pipers were even stationed at the Battle of Waterloo as part of the 79th (Cameron Highlanders) Regiment of Foot, and their music reinforced the resolve of the regiments.

While some may think of bagpipes as an instrument of torture due to their loud and sometimes grating blares, they certainly intimidate enemy forces and were carried and played by ancient Scottish clans of old to do just that. In Conqueror’s Blade, the Bagpipers will carry on this rich history of political symbolism, intimidation, and uplifting performance.

Perhaps now thought of as reserved for royal ceremonies, funerals, and Hogmanay, the bagpipes remain a staple of Scottish culture, and their tradition is kept alive to this day.



The first unit of their kind in Conqueror’s Blade and our foray into bard-type mechanics, the Bagpipers provide stirring martial music as they march into battle alongside the Highlander armies, bolstering morale and the fighting spirit of the men.

While they may not be equipped with conventional weapons such as broadswords or spears, the Bagpipers have their own unique way of carrying their troops to victory—buffing their allies’ attacks with inspiring melodies. The music of these defiant men makes such a difference to the Highland units in battle that the Loegrians have forbidden the playing of their tunes wherever they can, deeming the sound of bagpipes to be an incitement to insurrection.

How's it going, commanders!

I'm taking a little deviation from the regular update schedule to keep you in the loop on what's going on with the game and its Early Access status and what the foreseeable future will hold for the game and for Laukaus Games as a whole.

Before going in to anything else, I want to thank each and every one of you, who have bought and played the game or added it to your wishlist for future purchase. Specifically, I want to thank all of you, who have provided feedback and reported issues you've found within the game. I also want to specifically thank those of you, who have recommended the game to someone you know and might be interested or made videos or other content off of it. We and the game wouldn't be here if it weren't for each and every one of yours support! It really means the world to me.

As some of you may remember, I made my first devlog video of Para Bellum - Hold the Line at the end of August titled "Good and Bad News". I'm gonna share the video here, if you're up to for a little trip down the memory lane and want to see what the game looked like in its very early state back then. Back then I had just lost my job and started working on Para Bellum - Hold the Line full time.

Why I'm sharing this now, is because it's kind of relevant to my current situation. As it turns out, I have now managed to find myself a new full time job and I will be starting at the beginning of the new year 2022. What this unfortunately means, is that I won't be able to work on this game full time anymore and game development in general, will take a back seat for the time being. Once I have figured out my schedule and new rhythm of life at the new job, I'm hopeful that I will be able to squeeze in some time for my own projects, but it might take a while and nevertheless, the development velocity is going to go down in the near future.

That being the situation, I feel like the priority right now, is to get the game out of Early Access. I don't want to rush things obviously, but I'm gonna start taking action towards the full launch of the game soon. I still have a couple of ideas that I want to try out and might add to the game and one scheduled update coming soon - the one with the new Paratrooper Units. I won't be disclosing more information about potential updates at this time since it's so early that I don't want to make promises that I might or might not keep.

In addition to getting the game to it's 1.0 release state, I need to work on a launch trailer and press releases for the media and influencers in the hopes that someone will be covering my game when it's launching. That is going to take some time and that means that actual game development time will be reduced.

After Early Access is over and the game is fully released, active development of the game will be on hold at least for a while. I'll try my best to fix any issues should any arise, but that's all I can promise. I hope to continue developing the game some day in the future provided that I have the time, resources and incentive to do so, but all of that is something that only time will tell.

Eventually, I would like to extent the Para Bellum universe to some new games. I have big dreams and ideas that I would like to chase in the future and I would definitely like to see something great in the future of Laukaus Games. The journey so far has been full of great learning and awesome experiences and I feel like I still have so much to give for all of you.

All of that is going to take some time though, which I unfortunately won't be allowed very much in the near future. Me and Laukaus Games will be here though.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. It feels a bit hard for me to disclose all of this, but I want to be fully transparent on what's going on and what you should expect from the future.

Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight Team.

Codename 7 will be active starting on the 16th of December.

The new Season 7 Battle Pass consists of 100 tiers, filled with a variety of equipment from Ironsights secret agents, and including two new weapons (the HK416 assault rifle and the P30 pistol), an Epic Bowie Knife, emotes, costume parts, unique skins, and even one of the materials needed to obtain the brand new Royal Jester AK-12 Collection Weapon.

Season 7 also introduces the newest mode, Gun Game (Solo). This is an FFA mode and can be queued for through the matchmaking quickplay system.

In addition, the team has revisited some of the decisions that were made when Ironsight was first developed regarding new accounts, and as a result some changes will be made to improve the experience for new users. For example, all items that were initially given to new accounts temporarily will now be permanent, and loadout's have been adjusted to make it easier for new players to adapt to the game. We will continue to make such improvements in the future.

Furthermore, the team are also currently making various efforts to increase the enjoyment of all players, and providing more content for them to enjoy. Among these efforts are the new Gold Attachment Challenges that have been added for all the players who have been seeking a new challenge and goal to work towards.

    Ranked [Solo] Season 7 will return to it's former format, with teams of 5 players queuing up individually. This season will also see the removal of the Win/Loss Streak Bonus/Penalty, as a result of player feedback. 5.New Account Support
  • When a new account is made, it will now receive permanent weapons instead of 7D weapons (K2C, MP5, DSR)
  • The Female Custom Character is now unlocked by default on new accounts
  • The Hawk and Frost mercenaries are now unlocked by default on new accounts.
  • Default emotes have been changed
  • Some bullets [7D] have been provided and equipped to loadout's by default.
  • Default loadout skills have been adjusted to better suit the AR, Sniper, and SMG default loadouts.
  • These changes apply only to new accounts.

6. Gun Game
  • Gun Deathmatch has been changed to Gun Game in the Quick Match menu.
  • Gun Game mode is now a FFA mode (Previously it was a Team Mode)
  • There are now 3 weapon lists. When a Gun Game match begins, one of the weapon lists will be selected at random to be used for that match. This is to help improve the variety for Gun Game mode.
  • Killing an enemy with a melee weapon no longer grants you an additional point. However, enemies killed by a melee weapon will still lose a level.

7. Attachment Achievements
    Attachment achievements have been added, and completing all 5 tiers of an attachment's achievement will reward you with a gold version of the attachment.

8.Male Custom Face Changes
    Male Face variants can now be purchased directly, and more options have also been added to increase customizability

9.Daily Log-in Rewards
    Daily log-in rewards have been updated. Find out more in-game!

10.Rank Season 6 reward
  • Rank Season 6 rewards will be given after the maintenance

11. Bug fixes and improvements
  • The lobby has been updated to fit the theme of Season 7
  • Box opening events such as the Collection Box Event are no longer displayed on the main lobby in the event display.

Ranked Season 7 is about to begin!

Season 7 will return to the previous format of Ranked [Solo], with 2 teams of 5 players coming together to battle for Ranked Points.

Season 7 also see's the removal of the Win/Loss Streak system, which made it difficult for many users to raise their scores in previous seasons.

In addition to Ranked [Solo], Ranked [Duel] and Ranked [Clan] will continue to run as Off-Seasons where you can claim experience and various daily rewards, but there will be no end of seasons rewards for these 2 Off-Season Ranked Modes.

Ranked Menu
    In the ranked menu you can check the time remaining in the season.You can also check your current Points and Ranked Tier.Your current points and tier can also be viewed from your account tab.During matchmaking, you can see how many players are currently queuing for ranked, as well as the ruleset for the current Ranked Mode.The leader board keeps track of the top 100 ranked players in the world.

Rules
Users that partake in actions that violate basic game rules will automatically be excluded from receiving any rewards. This includes the use of glitches, bugs, map boosting, use of 3rd party programs and hacks, etc

  • Refusing to participate in the game, or going AFK.
