It’s been a while since our last update and we’re excited to talk a bit more about what we’re working on - here's what we have in store for you for one of the upcoming updates:
Interior walls and objects (and pammies) will soon be able to get exploded by certain items. Who needs to strategically plan escape routes when you can blast open a few walls?
Crisis employees will soon be able to zoom, rotate, and pan to get a better look at the situations.
Confused about which item does what thing, about how to reset items, or about existence in general? We’re working on answering some of those questions with a totally new tutorial.
Also in the works is a cool new element - Ice forms when water freezes (who knew?) causing blocked paths or stopping Pammies in their tracks.
There’s a world of difference (sorry) between our old and upcoming world maps:
Shinier buttons and colours, highlighting things, and some general refinements are also on the way.
We’re making use of the new mechanics to develop new accident-prone situations.
Upcoming improvements to the game's aesthetic include new room decor and outfits along with some improvements to the heat vision and such.
What’s that? Who knows. In any case this is apparently a very handy thing to do to prepare ourselves for future goals like enhancing objective progression or potentially a level editor.
We've had a list of things to tidy up that hopefully won't grow too big during the next phases of testing.
We'll roll out some of the updates in late January pending tester feedback.
Finally a big thanks for the support and feedback throughout the development so far, the feedback from our earliest builds right through to recent playtests has helped us make much better decisions during task planning which will hopefully result in a much better experience. If you’re interested in becoming a beta tester or to let us know your feedback we'd love to hear your from you on our discord here:
And welcome to the preview of the first major feature of the upcoming 1.3 Update. And that's festivals.
Festivals are a key component of the Nebuchadnezzar’s religion system because through the festivals players can keep good relations with the worshiped gods. These gods in return provide some nice bonuses to the city. But more on that in some later posts.
To organize a festival, players have to select which goods will be provided during the festival. The quantity of goods is determined by the size of the city population and the variety of goods determines the level of the festival. The higher the level the happier the gods will be.
Players can also choose to which gods the festival will be held. However, the increase of satisfaction will be lower, the more gods one festival is devoted to.
Festivals are only one of the several components of the upcoming religion system, so stay tuned for more news and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, and join our Discord server!
Until the next update!
Numbers and balancing (in the image) are subject to change.

We haven't stopped working on main questline and new locations such as arctic areas or southern parts of the world, however these locations and questline will be presented in full playable version of our game
Join our Discord and Twitter to share your ideas that will influence the final shape of the game.
We are proud to present you the final result of the last years of our work. We hope that the Chronicles, at least for a moment, will take you on a nostalgic journey through this cult-classic world created by Piranha Bytes 20 years ago.
The Steam platform require only Gothic II: Night of the Raven / Gothic II: Gold Edition in your library (no installation is needed).
Server transfer applications are now open! If you’ve been planning a move, now is the time to act as applications are now being accepted for cross-server transfers. We can also announce that all transfers will occur during scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, December 21.
Don’t forget that you need to successfully apply in-game before 10:30 CET/01:30 am PST on December 20 to be eligible for a transfer. Each transfer costs 1,000 Sovereigns, and the characters must have left their House or Cohort for the application to proceed.
You should complete all transactions on the Resource Market, collect items from resource piles, and delist any items from the Market before the server transfer takes place. Listings, items, and resource piles will not be migrated to the new servers and will be lost if action is not taken.
For a full timetable and any answers to your questions, check out the server transfer FAQ. Please also join us in the Conqueror’s Blade Discord channel for any changes that may occur.
