Winds & Leaves - TREBUCHET
We are very excited to have Winds & Leaves finally arrive to Steam today. We have put a lot of work in making the PC version take advantage of the added power and be compatible with all the major headsets.

If you’re new to the game, jump on your stilts and become the Gardener to discover a barren world and use your ancient powers to bring it back to life.



For those who tried it on PS4, enjoy the enhanced graphics and the all new room-scale mode, letting you immerse yourself even more in the forests you’re growing.

  • Graphics: weather effects (e.g. snow) depending on city, season, and time of day.
  • Graphics: clouds on highest zoomout level. All weather can be turned off in settings.

  • Expand availability of Speaking Easy skill
  • Skills to make raw materials (grape concentrate, apple juice, malt syrup, neutral alcohol) now also available based on posession of relevant tier two production skills

  • Bug fix: Some rewards for imported booze were not displaying when relationship level was at exact reward thresholds
  • Bug fix: Option to extend credit was appearing even after hitting the maximum debt level.

CHANGES AND ADJUSTMENTS
- Bosses are no longer affected by stun
- Substantially boosted the health of the Kraken boss
- The Exit Realm floor now has its own unique teleporter rooms
- Added a slight cooldown on swapping weapons using the mouse wheel
- Bullets created using the Bullet Staff weapon now have a downward trajectory

FIXES
- The true ending credits now properly display Kat as the voice of Diavola -- sorry!
- Fixed an issue where the game would become softlocked upon dying with the "Chrysus Medallion" item
- Fixed a bug where Leeches would have a chance to spawn as Golden Leeches upon re-entering a room
- Roselia's shops on the Balcony and Exit Realm floors now display the correct backgrounds


I've seen a couple reports of a crash that has resulted in people's save files getting wiped. If you've experienced this, please let me know the circumstances that it happened under! If you've seen an error message along with this, posting that would especially help. In the meantime, I'm gonna keep trying to figure out a fix. If your save file has been affected by this, let me know and I can try to rebuild your save file based on your Steam achievements.

I know I mentioned in previous patch notes that I would like to have a major content update out in January. Unfortunately, between fixes, finals, Christmas, and the upcoming Pixel Day event on Newgrounds, I haven't been left with a lot of time to actually work on the update. It's very likely that this update will end up coming out in March or April instead (which sucks because I wanted it to be a cool New Years update). I probably won't officially announce a release window until I'm certain. On the bright side, now I'll have more time to make sure that the update is as good as possible. I know I say this every post but thank you all for your patience with these updates!

On a more positive note, here's a teaser for some of the new C-costumes that will be included in the content update. See if you can figure out who/what they are!



Blazing Sails - WixZ
Hi there scallywenches!

A small hotfix bringing some bug fixes and improvements to the newly released galleon and conquest gamemode.

Patch notes:

Galleon changes:
  • Galleon stern redesigned. It now features an overarching balcony so players can shoot behind more easily
  • Bowsprit tweaked a bit so it's less angled upward to give a slightly more streamlined feel to the ship
  • Gunport hatches and planks on the side of the ship now have collisions so you can stand on them
  • Fixed quite a few texture and unwrapping issues with the galleon

Conquest tweaks:
  • Tweaked player colors a bit, some appeared too dark
  • Tickets from flags now deplete twice as fast (from 2 ticks to 4 ticks)
  • Ticket depletion from ship destruction and kills increased
  • Flag swapping now only happens when a certain amount of flag only tickets have been drained, kills and ship kills no longer count towards internal flag swap counter

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug with team spawn selection entry appearing red when shouldn't be

  • Added Dutch and Russian translations to the game! My sincere gratitude to the player base for volunteering these translations: Dutch by Stefan Kroon and Russian by Quotermain & Sergei Serov. Amazing work! If you are interested in seeing the game in your native language and would like the help, please reach out to me.
  • Fix for a mega-ultra-late-game invader pathing bug. When mazes were of an extreme length, invaders would skip through the beginning of the maze, bypassing the first walls/towers. This is now fixed.
  • Update to motion sick mode - Now in addition to removing rolling and swaying camera movement, the waves on the title screen are drastically reduced.
  • Minor tweaks to invader anti stuck code - anti-stuck logic was rarely, but incorrectly being triggered very late game with lower framerates, in situations where invaders were blocked, waiting for invaders in front of them. This resulted in them being able to teleport past a wall/tower.
  • Smelter building renamed to smeltry. This should help prevent some of the confusion between referencing the job or the building.
  • Minor updates to texts and tooltips
  • Other small performance and stability tweaks
  • Slightly slowed the zoom speed down to make it a little less jarring
  • Slightly reduced the amount of fog

Outpost - Jorge
I'm very excited to have most of the technical work behind me, and so now I'm starting the first gameplay features. The sphere in this video represents a robot that follows the player around to help with tasks. It currently also casts some soft light at night to help the player see. I don't know what I'm going to call the robot so for now its placeholder design name is Egg, for reasons that I hope are obvious. Enjoy

Orb of Celestials

Orb of Celestials is here! Every 5 levels you can pick a passive skill and upgrade it to take better advantage of it. The Orb requires souls that you get from killing monsters.

Right now there are 8 passives available, the number will increase as time goes on and more gets added. You can only pick one passive skill out of the two in the same level bracket.

My own thoughts are some of these passives are rather "boring", and while that's not a bad thing I wouldn't mind looking into changing Fervor/Voracity/Bulwark/Fleeting later on to make them more interactable, such as giving the bonuses in smaller percentages which would build up to the bigger number after each enemy killed. (ie. Fervor gives 1% Attack Speed per enemy killed, up to 10%)

Level 5 - Fervor & Voracity

- Fervor gives 10/20/30% Attack Speed.
- Voracity gives 10/20/30% Cooldown Reduction.

Level 10 - Shadow Strike & Shadow Form

- Shadow Strike causes an AoE attack to come out after using Shadowstep. (100/200/300% of Player Damage per rank)
- Shadow Form gives 10/20/30 Corruption after each use and can gain up to 2/3/4 charges.

Level 15 - Bulwark & Fleeting

- Bulwark gives 50/100/150 Defence.
- Fleeting gives 2/4/6 Movement Speed.

Level 20 - Fury & Wrath

- Fury - Deal more damage the lower Health you have. Maximum 10/20/30% more damage at 25% Health.
- Wrath - Deal more damage the lower Corruption you have. Maximum 10/20/30% more damage at 25% Health.



Small Changes

- Changed the main menu to include Discord/Steam links
- Pressing F1 will now bring up the notification board
- The old dash has been removed and has been replaced with Shadowstep. This has a shorter cooldown and a shorter range but feels better to use.
- Potion icon has been updated
- Some more visual effects have been updated
- Urud has a new weird animation now for his Slam attack
- Mages should no longer slide around the floor while moving towards the player
GameGuru MAX - Rick
Smart Object Placement now makes it a cinch to place objects onto uneven ground. The GameGuru MAX Level Editor knows about objects like switches and lights and will correctly rotate and position them where you would expect them to appear. Check the video out to see it in action.
