Many, many... more cats!

We have added lots of new cats, from fluffy to hairless. We've also included different types of tails, ears and faces. With all of these variants, you will customize your companion in many different ways!

Play with your companion cat

We are also working on adding more ways to engage with your cat and get bonding points, which will be essential to develop your magical skills...

If you get close to your companion, you will have the option to select pets, minigames or feed.

One of the minigames we are refining is the magical pointer that your cute companion will try to catch.

The magical garden

We've revisited the garden in the botanic class, and we've added more magical elements to the harvesting system. Now wizard apprentices will create patches of soil with the hoe spell where fantastical plants will grow, like the Morning Pumpkin and a flower with the shape of a teapot.

Call of the Sea - aterrett

Hey everyone!

Today is a truly special day: it's our one-year anniversary! And we have lots of things to celebrate and share with you including a 50% off sale, tons of awards, and a brand new Collector’s Edition… but first, lets take a stroll down memory lane together, shall we?

It's been a whole year since Call of the Sea launched, and we couldn’t be happier with everything that’s happened to get us here. From the creation of our studio Out of the Blue, to developing the first Call of the Sea prototype in 2018 under the working title "Blue Game", to signing on with our amazing publisher Raw Fury in 2019, to you – yes, you! – reading this blog RIGHT NOW – all the steps it’s taken to get us here feels like… they were written in the stars.

In June 2019 we delved deeper into Call of the Sea’s story and its ties to Polynesian culture through a workshop led by our Polynesian culture consultant Yunick Vaimatapako.

Then, shortly before launch, Ia Ora Tahiti International School students decided to perform an Aparima inspired by the Te Reo O Te R'ai song, composed by Eduardo de la Iglesia for Call of the Sea.

We also had a lovely time recording the prequel letters performed live by our dear friends Cissy Jones (Norah) and Yuri Lowenthal (Harry).

And finally on the 8th of December 2020, Call of the Sea was launched!

We wanted to deliver a love letter to the puzzle genre, a game crafted with care that all would want to play. We were confident that we had achieved this, but we certainly weren't expecting the incredible warm reception that we got from all types of players from all over the world.

We have also won some awards since then! The first one was the Best of 2020 from IGN last year, then came others like GameKult, Hobby Consolas, DeVuego (we won in 7 categories!), Zapping Awards, WeirdMarket, and more recently Tiga Game Awards and the Nyx Game Awards. But the one we are most proud of is being nominated in the BAFTA Awards for Best Debut Game. What an honour and a dream come true!

We also keep very close to us the kind words and the marvelous fanart that our players have shared with us during the year, and the new ones that come every day. We can’t say how happy you are making us with your support and love for the game.

As we mentioned above, we have a lot to thank you for and a lot to share with you. So, let’s start with some holiday gifts!

During this whole anniversary week, Call of the Sea will be on sale at a very special 50% off discount on Steam!
Indeed, don’t miss this golden opportunity to meet Norah & Harry and have a great time solving puzzles while discovering just what happened to the mysterious Everhart expedition - or gift it to a friend!

We also have wonderful news for those of you that keep a special place in your heart for Call of the Sea’s story: we have partnered again with Meridiem Games on a Special Collector's Edition of the game!

Call of the Sea - Journey Edition is designed and manufactured by Meridiem Games and will be a limited numbered boxed edition of only 1,000 units available across Europe. The Journey Edition will contain all the content of the Norah’s Diary Edition content and will add the exquisite Original Soundtrack (composed by Eduardo De la Iglesia) on a collector’s-coloured vinyl, a hardcover art book with more than 130 pages with designs, artwork and images from the game and three lithographs with original artwork all displayed in a special Call of the Sea branded box. More details can be found here.

To help celebrate, our friends at Raw Fury are hosting a giveaway for one lucky person to win one of the first Collector Box Journey Editions, please follow @RawFury on twitter to find out how you can participate.

We are also opening a Call of the Sea profile on Instagram to share more info about how the game was made, the stories behind the characters, and some more hidden treasures. Find that at @CalloftheSeaGame.

Or, if you feel curious about us, the developers, you can also find us on Instagram at @OutBlueGames where we'll share things about the team, our new projects and of course our company values. For now, enjoy our Call of the Sea Anniversary Party photos, where we had a haka masterclass for the team, an escape room, a fun photobooth… and even a cake full of black ichor to lose our sanity!

If you are more into Twitter you can also find us at @OutBlueGames.

And last but certainly not least, please follow our channels and stay tuned because we are working on some really exciting things we can’t wait to tell you about!

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, Dear Old Pals.

Scarlet Hollow - blacktabbygames
Hey all!

Every so often we like to put together a devlog to serve as a retrospective on a major content update for some part of Scarlet Hollow's development. For our most recent post, we decided to take a long look at our October Balance Patch, both in terms of the factors that drove us to make that patch, its execution, and finally a look at how that new content shifted the breakdown of player choices in-game.

Take a look at the full post here: https://blacktabbygames.medium.com/why-you-should-care-about-balance-in-your-narrative-game-dcb7cbaa36fb

Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter - louvke

Dear Destroyer fans!

Following the Steam Next Fest release of our demo, we have once again gathered a lot of feedback, taken a deep breath, and we are now taking the project to a whole new level. Destroyer is growing, and to give you the first glimpse of what is to follow, we would like to show you one of the new stations that has already been prepared for your upcoming fights against enemy wolfpacks.

That’s right!

In its final form, Destroyer will be just as much about your own ship’s maneuvers, as it will be about commanding your whole escort screen against an entire wolfpack. Because of that, we need to empower the player with new systems and ways of tracking and gathering data on the steel wolves attempting to ensnare the convoy. Perhaps you can remember the two stations from our gameplay trailer that did not make their way into the demo. Well, the reason for their absence was simply because they weren’t necessary back then. In the full game, however, they will help you deal with multiple enemies and evaluate the overall tactical situation.

One of those stations is a board for keeping track of multiple contacts. It was very early in the project when I decided to use it in the game in order to let the player keep track of all the essential information on multiple foes. And well, whaddya know - it actually serves the exact same purpose as it did on an actual warship, so it’s not like we are reinventing the wheel here. Regardless, I really like how it blends with the rest of the design and how it allows the player to immediately see all the most recent information about every contact encountered.

As you can also see on the board, we are currently fighting against two U-boats and, from our initial testing, we can already tell you that the board is of great help, especially if you lose contact with one of them. The reason is that once the contact has been lost, the board still holds all the last known information about it, allowing you to plot its position from the point in time where you lost it. So, you can simply backtrack to your own destroyer’s position on the given time on the DRT, and that will allow you to roughly plot the estimated contact position based on that data.

What is also important, selecting a contact on the board switches all the reporting to that particular contact, with only the most crucial information on other contacts being given (lost, regained, etc.). This way, the player can filter among the reports to hear only reports about the selected contact. After all, the chosen contact is the one that the player will track and attack first.

With the ‘contacts’ board up and running, we are currently working on getting the tactical display working as well. This will be the last station added to the game, so once it is ready, we will no longer need to work on new stations and will be finally able to focus on perfecting and polishing everything we have done so far. At least from the destroyer side, that is, because there is still TONS of work to be done on the U-boat AI, escort vessel AI, and how they interact with one another.

That, however, will be discussed in the next devlog

We hope that the new, tactical level of gameplay introduced by commanding your AI escorts against multiple U-boats will add a new and exciting layer of decision-making to the game.

We would also like to thank everyone who has played our demo and shared their feedback - it is much appreciated, and we will do everything we can to make the game cater to your anti-submarine cravings. We also hope that you will stay excited about Destroyer and that you will keep following the game and help it thrive with your feedback until the official release.

Thank you!

Conan Exiles - Anarchtor
Greeting Exiles!

Something stirs in the air and a coldness grips your bones.

You sense a nefarious darkness growing within both the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah.

The veil between our world and the outer dark is starting to tear, and droves of undead stalk the land. Mystical pillars rise in dark rituals and the ominous chanting of sorcerers can be heard as whispers on the wind.

You can take on this new threat and fight the sorcerers and the unnatural undead they summon. Be on the lookout for rituals of dark sorcery as you explore either the Exiled Lands or the Isle of Siptah.

By stopping the rituals you may earn unique rewards, such as some brand new placeables or even the Skelos Cultist Master armor set of the sorcerers.

The event lasts from today, December 7th, and until the 10th of January.

This event introduces the all-new event system to Conan Exiles and more events will follow in the future.

Perhaps this is just the beginning? But the beginning of what?

The new Update 2.7 is also live today. It adds a lot of fixes and improvements, including a new Point of interest protection system, where the obelisks of the Exiled Lands will receive extra protection from building pieces placed too close.

War Thunder - CyberStonka

The Bandkanon 1 was an autoloading Swedish self-propelled artillery piece, developed in the late 1950’s on the basis of a previous experimental project. Soon, the menacing Bandkanon 1 will join the ranks of the Swedish ground forces tree in War Thunder, coming to the game as part of the next major update ‘Winged Lions’!
Bandkanon 1C, SPG, Sweden, Rank IV
Features:
  • Devastating 155 mm gun
  • A top of its class rate of fire
  • HE rounds, including variable time fuse
  • Low max speed
  • Limited aiming angles
  • Limited ammunition capacity
History
[expand]In the late 1950’s, Swedish engineers began work on a new self-propelled artillery unit, taking design choices proven from the previous Kranvagn experimental project and combining them with the modified chassis of the Strv 103A. The result of this undertaking was the Bandkanon 1, whose first prototype underwent testing in the early 1960’s.

By 1963, serial production of the vehicle began with an initial order of 26 vehicles. Upon entering service, the Bandkanon 1 managed to set a world record for fire rate thanks to its autoloading mechanism. In fact, when firing at maximum range, the vehicle was capable of emptying its whole magazine before the first round fired even impacted, thus setting a world record for fire rate.

The 26 Bandkanon 1s were commissioned into service with artillery divisions in Norrland and remained in service there up until 2003 before being retired from active service.[/expand]

In War Thunder, the Bandkanon 1C will soon join the mid ranks of the Swedish ground forces tree arriving in the game as part of the next major update ‘Winged Lions’. Prominently featuring an autoloading 155mm howitzer as its primary (and only) weapon, the Bandkanon 1C can serve its opponents with a lethal dose of high explosive at a rate unwitnessed by tankers so far!

The 155mm autoloader-assisted howitzer is the centrepiece of attention of the Bandkanon 1C and not only due to its relative size to the vehicle itself! Although such large calibre weapons in themself are nothing new to War Thunder tankers, being coupled to an autoloading mechanism certainly is a first. Because of this unique arrangement, the Bandkanon 1C can fire its entire 14 round magazine in just 45 seconds - that’s one round fired roughly every 3.2 seconds! But beware, the Bandkanon 1C only has a single magazine of ammunition on board and replenishing it at a strategic point will take time while simultaneously exposing the vehicle to potential enemy fire.

Coupling this incredibly high rate of fire with rather good ballistic properties and powerful high explosive rounds, makes the Bandkanon 1C very effective at destroying hostile vehicles, even more heavily armored ones. However, as the Bandkanon 1C can only fire HE rounds, including remote fuse ones, delivering their full devastating potential may be impeded by soft obstacles, reactive armor found on some vehicles at this rank as well as hits to non-vital components such as tracks. On the other hand, if tankers manage to score a hit around less armored parts of a tank, such as the roof of the hull or turret, then the explosive force of the HE round will likely outright blast the opponent into oblivion in a more than spectacular manner.
Fun Fact: Upon entering service, the Bandkanon 1 set a new world record for fire rate for vehicles of its type.
Despite its own destructive potential, the Bandkanon 1C itself can forcibly be decommissioned with relatively little effort on behalf of its opponents, thus joining the group of so-called ‘glass cannons’ in the game. Also, its relatively large size may catch the attention of hawk-eyed attacker pilots.

Limiting the Bandkanon’s capabilities is its mediocre mobility. Being powered by the same engine/turbine configuration found on the Strv 103C, the Bandkanon can only reach a top speed of about 30 km/h under ideal conditions, while its off-road mobility degrades further with increasingly inhospitable terrain. Due to its mobility, relatively light protection and overall size, the Bandkanon is more suited for the role of a second-line support vehicle than that of a spearheading brawler.

The Bandkanon 1C will await all tankers at rank IV of the Swedish ground forces tree in War Thunder following the release of the next major update ‘Winged Lions’. In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned to the news to be the first to catch a glimpse of more exciting new additions and features awaiting you in the upcoming update. Until then, happy hunting tankers!
Drive 4 Survival - M彡M
Hey survivor!

The end of the year is slowly but surely approaching. For us, this year was full of changes, reversals and unexpected events. Which was strongly reflected in the lower frequency of updates for our game.

When rather than smaller and frequent updates they came more complex but with a longer delay.

We firmly believe that the year 2022 will be better and that we will be able to start more frequent updates and also fulfill our plans with the game.

So today it brings you a new minor update that contains a few changes and news.

  • Creative mode has been fixed - it is now possible to run it again.
  • Wolves and bears can now be hit in the head, dealing more damage.
  • The frequency of attacks on your claimed poi resources has been reduced and they are no longer as common.
  • The garage has been given two new extensions and in total it is now possible to expand it to up to 10 positions.
  • Two new cars have been added to the game - these are not super fast or durable cars, but rather small vehicles for fun.

We are still working on tuning the RV car - so maybe soon;)

We want to thank you for your support and patience - thank you very much!
Enjoy the game!
