Upon looking into some user-reported bugs, I noticed that I left some map testing debug code in the game. This error resulted in the Autosave function not working properly. Since this is a big enough issue, I decided to release this RC5 update. This update fixes that issue and a couple of other bugs.
Work on the manual continues, and I hope to reach the formula/mechanics sections by the end of the month.
-Bugfix Fixed company acquisition cooldown times not being saved to the save game file in certain situtations. -Bugfix AutoSave saving every decade to a new file instead of indicated time. -Bugfix Fixed Autosell not selling licensed or outsourced designs automatically. -Gameplay Tweaked AI and Autosell initial pricing system. -Media Increase max values for top reviews clips because of chance of falling outside that range. -Media Added additional predesigned cars submissions. -Bugfix Fixed Gearbox weight in contracts window displaying incorrect values. -Media Increased racing series end dates for any series that reached end game for current maps.
Previously, modifications that were made or updated in Manager's Journey were not supported in previous versions of the game.
We've begun work to ensure that players who create mods in MJ can make them available to all other players, regardless of version.
Now in the modification settings, there is a button that changes the backward compatibility of the mod. If "Maximum" backward compatibility is enabled, the mod will be available for all versions of the game. If "Manager's Journey" backward compatibility is enabled, the mod will only be available in the latest DLC.
If you used new content from Manager's Journey in the modification and then selected Maximum compatibility, this content will automatically be replaced with random ones.
We'll be keeping an eye on your forum posts and will continue to polish the backward compatibility feature so that as many players as possible can enjoy your mods.
So, for everyone who published the mods from MJ, you can open your mod settings and change the backward compatibility.
Other fixes
Improved the balance of the Loyal leadership (harder than friendly and easier than adequate). Now fines and contract renewal costs have been reduced by approximately 2 times. If management is moderately dissatisfied (yellow zone), there will be no need to waste reputation to persuade a contract renewal.
Corrections of translation errors.
Fixed a crash if you start a campaign with only one country.

Due to bugs encountered recently by players, we were able to find a way to improve the energy distribution in Silicon City!
The small energy balls that can be seen sailing around the city in the energy view are now independent of the game speed. The consumption and production of energy of all the buildings is now consistant and avoids the slowdowns linked to a high game speed.
Houses abandoned by their inhabitants?
When a house or an apartment is no longer occupied by any silizen for a while, they become abandoned and need to be razed by the mayor in order to renew the residential area and avoid the negative effects of an abandoned building.
As a mayor you must ensure that the residences remain attractive to your citizens. If they become derelict, the surrounding area is probably not attractive enough.

The houses of our dear silizens are embellished with new trees! The higher the land value, the more the variety of gardens will vary. Look at these apartments of the most beautiful effect!
A Blocksy terrain editor
To expand the possibilities of the city editor in sandbox mode, and to give you more opportunities to create the city of your dreams, we have added a terrain editor mode, giving you the possibility to change the type of soil.
