The patch for the "Origins" seasonal update has been installed on the Warface server. The latest game version features improved specs of the guns from the seasonal Battle Pass shop, a new secondary weapon the Makarov Pistol that can be upgraded with modifications as well as a special contract to get it and a pack of bug fixes.
New Content
Makarov Pistol
We are glad to present to you the first weapon model designed specifically for the modificaitions system. The basic version of this secondary weapon offers good specs and has no significant advantages or disadvantages.
There are three mods which can be installed on the pistol and which can raise the basic performance characteristics of the weapon to competitive values in comparison with the best in-game models of secondary arms. So, it will be up to you to determine what specs are most important to upgrade.
The Makarov Pistol is also available in the golden version, which boasts sleek looks, features a more spacious magazine, takes more ammo, and yields a unique achievement for eliminating opponents.
You can get the "Banshee" version of the pistol in a special contract - it is already available in the game. We'll tell you more about the ways of getting the regular and the golden versions in the future. Please bear in mind that the current weapon specs are not final. We plan to tweak them in one of the next patches.
AKS-74U
The AKS-74U is a new weapon for the Engineer. This is a shortened version of the AKS-74 assault rifle manufactured by the Kalashnikov concern. The key in-game advantages of the new gun are high basic and minimum damage indicators. The arm favourably compares to its counterparts in terms of increased effective range and head damage multiplier, which allows its owner to kill opponents with a headshot at medium range. These perks are offset by a moderate rate of fire (700 points) and reduced ammunition. In addition, the weapon supports the installation of mods. With their help, you can improve the basic version of the model to adapt it to your gameplay style.
Please note: the current weapon specs are not final. We plan to tweak them in one of the next patches. So, the weapon will not be available prior to these changes.
Mauser Kar98k
The new bolt-action sniper rifle sports excellent damage indicators and a high aiming speed. The weapon comes equipped with three unique attachments: a silencer, a bipod and a sight.
The load-one-round-and-resume-fire system makes the Mauser Kar98k absolutely lethal. Moreover, the rifle can be upgraded via mods to adapt the weapon to your individual gameplay style. For example, one of the unique upgrades will increase the speed of movement, and the other - the speed of weapon change.

"Alligator" Series
The legendary Ultramarine Knife has got a new camouflage. This is not a melee arm to gather dust and rust in your inventories. Equip your fighter with the cool skinned version and feel nostalgia for exciting moments in battles! With such a camo, you will not only remember the "good old times", but will definitely get more memorable moments in combat.
The series also includes a styled charm, which you can use to decorate your weapon.
We will tell you more about the ways of getting the weapon and the charm later.

Fixed visual artifacts of the themed Safe House, due to which some textures in the background flickered.
Fixed a bug due to which kills made with the weapons of the "Apostate" season did not count for the previously existing achievements.
Fixed a bug due to which camouflages from the Halloween 2021 series could not be installed on the golden versions of the guns from the series.
PvP
Bridges: fixed a bug due to which in "Point 2" the textures of the barrel near the wall disappeared although, in fact, the object continued to be part of the environment.
Factory: fixed a bug due to which it was possible to shoot through the green containers in "Point 2", "Base Loader", "Defenders Base", and the enemy received damage.
District 2.0: fixed an unintended shoot-through spot that became available when shooting through a building near the rail.
Dock: fixed a bug due to which the player could gain an unintended advantage by climbing on a beam. Hangar: fixed a bug due to which the player could gain an unintended advantage by climbing under the roof.

Fixed an in-game vulnerability that allowed players to join the match even after being kicked out of the match via voting.

Known Issues
In the current version of the game, the terms of contracts have not been changed due to an error that arose after the simplification of their conditions: the stages of the contracts did not finish on their own when the progress was excessive (for example, 10/5). We plan to fix this and apply changes later, that's why we have prolonged the contracts (and you will be able to complete them later with new terms). Now, when doing them, please be guided by the values indicated in the contract counter, not in the description, since the localization has been updated separately.
The specs of the new weapons (Makarov Pistol, AKS-74U and Mauser Kar98k) are not final. We will improve them in one of the next patches.

This week, we are introducing significant changes and improvements related to terrain in the game. Our level designers did an outstanding job, checking every part of the game world and fixing angles of the slopes and terrain unevenness, to ensure better controller handling and traveling across the Stoneholm without unnecessary stutters and slows. But there are more reasons to look under your feet now: The angled terrain is now properly “painted”, to show if the terrain can be accessed, and we added puddles to the game, to improve its visuals.
Thanks to our players' feedback we took a second look at playing outside the Main Server and prepared some changes on that matter, to help smaller servers to grow.
Tomorrow, in Poland, we will celebrate national Independence Day and other important memories of historical moments, so we are sending you the best for Veterans Day, Armistice Day, and Remembrance Day. Terrain improvements
Movement in the game is crucial, so we looked at your feedback and reports related to it. We have found some things that could be improved, to make your travels pleasant and smooth. Our level designers took some time to fix the terrain unevenness and reduce the slopes of terrain across the game. Hundreds of those small fixes will greatly help to reduce any unnecessary slows and stutters that could be experienced during traveling the world.
We improved the visual aspects of the terrains, to better show their accessibility. From now on it will be easier to find out if the terrain slope will allow movement on it, or not. There were situations where the terrain texture was suggesting players can move on it, but the angle of the terrain was not allowing it. We have found and fixed all such inconsistencies.
Additionally, we are adding a puddle system to the game. Those are now not conjugated with the weather jet, but have some other nice features, like turning to the ice if they are placed on the snowy terrain.
Changes in server accessibility.
Thanks to our players' feedback we took a second look at playing outside the Main Server. From now on, if any server gets underpopulated (Aquilla case at this moment) players from other servers will be able to join that server with fewer penalties. That means, things which will be unlocked are: buffs for underdog nation, buff for having locations, enabled players looting, enabled gaining nation points, enabled deadly harvest buff and CP reward, enabled gathering CP's for events and VoD and overall joining those which were prohibited for players outside the main server, allowed robbing the Guild Castle workers storage. Also, we extended the number of players before servers will trigger "weakness debuff" if any nation will get too many players as on small servers those numbers can change too easily. We do hope that change will give more reason to join potential small servers and help them grow - while still not allowing players to use them as risk-free resource farms.
Quality of Life Improvements:
– Temperature drop in player-build workshops (bloomeries, campfires, furnaces), takes longer. For example, a workshop on heat level 6 will keep the temperature for more than 19 minutes, instead of almost 7. – Added dedicated animation for spear throw. – Added a second animation for shooting a bow, which has a 20% chance to be played. – Throwing weapons by players now has a better impact on AI opponents' behavior: they will be more aggressive, and will not always try to block the throw without a shield. – Moa won't bypass the player block if he is blocking with a weapon, with the exception of Moa Old Beast. – Reworked the Escape Menu panel. – Added icon next to dynamic events goals on HUD. – Added clickable key binds icons on side panel HUD (quest log and Character Development) – Added sorting tracked and hidden quests on side panel HUD – Replaced Farms, Mines, and Lumber Mills map icons and colors – All map icons will be now shown on top of the locations links visualization. – Added dynamic margin while changing Character Development tree view scale. – Safe zones on Catacombs spawns are bigger, and nation related now. – Removed the Halloween event content. Why hello there. SDSXL+ 1.0.4 has just dropped into your Steam tray. New features include:
Text to Speech option added.
It sounds much as you'd expect, depending on which TTS languages you have installed on Windows, but the game can now read out the dialogue for you. It makes the odd curious goof, but it tries its very best.
Save/Load game functionality added.
Access this from the options menu in-game. There's a strange bug which I think may be more the doing of AGK than me where it deletes stored images if used from the main menu, so that's a no-go at the moment. Due to this it's pretty basic while I bugfix it, but it appears to work otherwise. Now you can save at any point where the game is waiting for you to click the mouse after a line of dialogue so you can go back and make different choices without having to go through the entire story.
Steam achievements added.
There are now six Steam achievements you can win. One of them is a big ol' secret!
Trading cards etc. enabled.
The game should now drop you badges, trading cards and stuff like that. There are seven cards in all.
Right mouse button on options screen enabled.
For things like music volume, etc. you can now click with the right mouse button to turn things down as well as turn them up with the left button. It's the little things, right?
nb: As there are quite a few more options on the options screen, your previously saved options will have been reset. Sorry about that! NSFW images are now censored by default, so switch that off if you want to see nasty things.

The World Quest schedule for EU servers has been adjusted to alleviate performance issues.

The properties of the item “Party Member Summoning Door” are changed as follows:

The item grade of the outfits Honorable Nobility and Eccentric Jack-o'-Lantern has been changed to Epic.
