While there are plenty of notable fixes and features to which to look forward in today’s build, here are some of the big highlights coming with this month's update:

NEW CARDS!
Calmecac (I)

“Ships 1 Warrior Priest. The next Council Member you research or are researching, will Age-up twice as fast.”
  • Can be used with any politician
Calendar Ceremony (I)

“Ships 1 Warrior Priest. Enables the new Calendar Ceremony at the Community Plaza which reduces the cost of your next Age-up, overtime.”
  • For each Villager tasked to the Calendar Ceremony, the next Age-up cost is reduced by 0.5 resources per second (split evenly between food and coin)
  • Switching Ceremonies does not cancel any progress
  • Warrior Priests work at the rate of 2 Villagers, as usual
  • Affects all Alliances for each age, but affect them one at a time (i.e., the cost of the Imperial Age would not decrease until you start researching the Industrial Age)
Ritual Gladiators (III)

“Ships 1 Jaguar Prowl Knight for each 2 you have lost so far (up to a maximum of 16).”
  • i.e., Would ship 16 Jaguar Prowl Knights if 32 have been defeated when this card arrives
5 Warrior Priests (III)

“Ships 5 Warrior Priests.”
  • Ships 5 Warriors Priests
Wall of Skulls (IV)

“Ships 1 Skull Knight for each 2 you have lost so far (up to a maximum of 13.)””
  • i.e., Would ship 13 Skull Knights if 26 have been defeated when this card arrives
Otontin Slinger Combat (IV)

“Otontin Slinger improved in combat.”
  • Hitpoints improved by 10%
  • Damage improved by 10%
Chichimeca Rebellion (IV)

“Rebellion! The resistance of the Chichimeca ennobles your present War Hut warriors and turns them into Knights. Villagers become Warriors instead of getting defeated.”
  • Puma Spearmen become Champion Jaguar Prowl Knights
  • Coyote Runners become Champion Eagle Runner Knights
  • Otontin Slingers become Champion Arrow Knights.
  • When defeated, Villagers transform into the Warrior unit obtainable from the Call the People Ceremony at the Community Plaza
NEW GAME MODE: EMPIRE WARS
Today, we’re excited to bring Empire Wars to Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition – an additional game mode to accompany Supremacy, Treaty and Deathmatch, available NOW to everyone!

Like in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Empire Wars puts players into the action right away with additional resources and a bolstered economy. However, instead of a pre-built town, players use a steady trickle of free Homecity Construction Wagons to grow their town with buildings they choose – making what you build and when a valuable decision!

[h4]Gameplay[/h4]
  • Gameplay begins in the Exploration Age with enough resources to choose a first Politician bonus, Wonder, or Federal State, etc, right away!
  • All Cards and each Age-Up deliver Construction Wagons that can make nearly all default buildings (excluding Houses*, TCs and Banks)
  • In Empire Wars shipments are earned more often and ship faster, additionally, an extra one is awarded upon reaching the Commerce Age, ensuring every match begins on even footing
  • Many buildings are available an age sooner – including one Town Center
  • Most civs begin with a free Outpost Wagon or Castle rickshaw — other starting units/resources vary as per balance requirements

[November 11 2021 - 10:30 AM PT] Developer Update - Thanks to your help, we have identified an issue related to Specials spawning and suspect their spawn cards are being repeated unintentionally. We are actively investigating and working on a fix. Thank you for your patience.



Developer Update - We wanted to highlight the following bug fix with some additional information: "Fixed some issues related to Specials spawning." We found an issue where Specials would frequently duplicate their spawn cards, compounding as players progressed through levels. This would often result in an unfair amount of Specials overwhelming Cleaner teams. In future patches, we are going to continue to dig into spawning issues to help further smooth out the experience.



The November 2021 Update brings quality of life updates, along with balance updates for Campaign and Swarm PvP! 

Developers’ note - We’ve listened to your feedback and implemented some highly requested quality of life updates. Follow along with our Trello board (https://trello.com/b/sXUnAzpW/community-back-4-blood) to track upcoming new features, balance changes, and major bug fixes. Note that our Trello Board, and this list of fixes, are not exhaustive.

  • All Cleaners are now immediately available to use. Players are no longer required to finish the The Devil's Return - The Crossing campaign chapter to unlock Doc, Karlee, Hoffman, and Jim

  • Completing any campaign chapter now unlocks all previous chapters

  • In-Game Voice Chat can now be disabled in the Audio Options

  • Added mute icon to HUD for players with voice chat off or who have been muted

  • First Time User Experience now sends players directly to Fort Hope

  • Additional post-round statistics added for Swarm PvP 

  • Added a "Mute All" button to the scoreboard in Swarm PvP

  • First aid cabinets now show a preview of how much health they heal

  • Players now recover health while inside Fort Hope

    • This change does not affect players in the shooting range

  • Added the /all message command allowing players to send messages to the Global Chat Channel
Campaign Updates

  • General

    • Weapons no longer revert to their default loadout when continuing a run in Training (previously named "Solo Campaign")

    • Bots now use defibrillators more effectively

    • Improved character behavior when dropping and picking up items in certain locations

    • Flashbang now affects Common Ridden that are climbing on hit

    • Ogres are no longer outlined for Karlee after burrowing underground

    • Chapter Specific Updates

      • Blue Dog Hollow: Bad Seeds - Destroying the nest in Nightmare difficulty now spawns an endless horde

    • Mean Drunk - Melee Damage adjusted to 60% from 75%

    • Money Grubbers - Now grants 3 bonus copper per stack (from 5) and a max bonus of 75 (from 100)

    • Spikey Bits - Melee Damage adjusted to 20% from 25%

    • True Grit - Heal increased to 10 from 8
  • Balance Updates

    • Quick player-input movements are now smoother

    • Rebalanced Supply Point rewards for all campaign chapters in all difficulties

    • Adjusted Supply Points earned for completing the Speed Run objective

    • Readjusted Abomination health values on Nightmare difficulty

    • Players who are grabbed by a Crusher are now immune to friendly fire damage while grabbed and for 1.5 seconds after being released

    • Fixed a bug that caused player’s camera to snap if they moved very slowly using a controller
Muxy  - Twitch Extension

  • New Features

    • Name a Ridden feature enabled for broadcasters who have access to Bits

      • Players can spend Bits to have their name show up in the kill feed page on Twitch

      • Broadcasters can disable the feature or change the minimum Bits required to use the feature from their extension configuration

      • Bits spent by viewers benefit the broadcaster

      • Viewers' names will show up in the kill feed when their special Mutation is killed

      • Viewers who use Bits to name a Ridden will be queued between levels and runs

    • Mutation upgrade levels are now displayed for broadcaster when on Ridden team in Swarm PvP

  • Bug Fixes

    • Fixed localization of Difficulty and Map name in extension

    • Fixed up card display bug on two cards that used key binds as part of their text

    • Fixed several issues where Fort Hope would not show “Waiting for game to start” Status

    • Windows Store builds now properly display the option to link extension to game client

    • Fixed some display bugs for cards with a lot of accompanying text

Carp Fishing Simulator - Dangerous Derk Interactive
All venues are now "remastered" and have more foliage and in some cases higher resolution terrains. This is a work in progress and more uniqueness will be added.

You can turn up or down the level of grass and extra trees from within the options menu. You may need to lower these levels if your PC is struggling.
