This update features Marketplace, 3/4 player support for Free Play, GUI improvements, bug fixes and more!
What's new in Toribash 5.53
In-game Market Game market uses the same foundation as Marketplace on Toribash website- this means you can trade items with other players, get stuff for a lower price than in game store and potentially even buy exclusive items you wouldn't be able to purchase otherwise!
Aside from basic trading, new market also allows you to quickly see your general stats in order to fully enjoy your PROFIT and set up shops with custom names with descriptions for a more personal feel!
Boot up any mod, open gamerules menu (CTRL + G), change num players to 3 or 4 and boom, it just works! Huge thanks to Crollex and Accelerator for making male and female versions of new characters' head textures that look absolutely amazing.
Other updates
Account tab has been removed from main menu's navigation bar and is now accessible by clicking "Account" tab in top right bar
Added customizable GUI scaling (accessible from Graphics tab in Settings)
New patch uploading right now - it does not have much - we tried to fix blocker bug where dialogue just stops from progressing for some users. Unfortunalty yesterday solution didn't work, so I returned game enginge to previous version. Also I fixed some things and added checker for dialogues - they will check if there answers appear as they should and will send notification if they don't. That way I will gather more info to fix this bug and how much people experience it.
Also adding 10 more people to playtest.
Update download size maybe big once again, sorry. As far as I know there won't be such big changes anymore BUT using new compression method I reduced game size from around 9 GB to 3,5 GB and on release it can weight even less.
We published another game update based on your feedback. This will bring your game to version 1.1.1053.
Changelog: 1. A new puzzle has been added - The Roller Coaster Loop! 2. Fixed a bug that allowed placing billboards in the air even though they were highlighted in red. 3. The default rotation of billboards has been corrected so that when selected, the screen is facing the camera. 4. Fixed issue preventing the player from completing tutorials on screen aspect ratios different than 16:9. 5. Added the possibility to turn off the deletion mode with the mouse button responsible for rotating objects. 6. Improved scoring bar graphics. 7. Fixed a bug preventing puzzle selection after player canceled placement with ESC in the tutorial. 8. Fixed an issue where scrolling through available puzzles would sometimes not work. 9. Fixed an issue where the player could inadvertently build an item when closing the popup in the second tutorial. 10. Trams now move faster when going from a higher level to a lower level, but also slower when going uphill.
We hope you're alright! So today, we have a very special announcement for you! We know you've been wondering when the next update is planned to release! Don't worry, we have great news for you ;)
New release timeline for the next updates
For the Glenwald Update, we put all our efforts into releasing one BIG update. This was certainly cool for some players, but we realized that other players wanted more updates more regularly.
Although we won’t be able to give you updates that are as big as Glenwald Calling every month (we like to sleep at night ^^), we’ve decided, with our awesome publisher The Arcade Crew, that from now on, we’ll release updates more often! Instead of releasing a major update every 3-4 months, we'll release smaller updates and each of them will have one big focus.
For the next one, the "End of the year update" will be divided into 3 updates!
New "mini roadmap" for Winter 2021
Our first batch of "smaller updates" will be released this winter, up to early 2022. If everything goes as planned, there will be 3 updates to go and each of them will focus on ONE big feature of the game
Without further ado, here's the roadmap for the 3 next updates. We can't give you specific release dates yet, but the first one will be released very soon, and the last one will be released in Early 2022 :)
So, for the end of 2021/early 2022, we'll have 3 smaller updates.
The first update will focus on the enemies
The second update will focus on the perks
The third update will focus on the maps
This changes our initial roadmap so here's athe new and updated one detailing what's coming up this Winter
So yeah, the next update should be released very soon ;)
We hope you’ll keep on enjoying The Last Spell! Please feel free to join our Discord server and give your feedback to our Feature Upvote page!
