We continue to explore new features for the upcoming season! Today we will talk about the long-awaited relic single-shot shotgun, as well as about 2 new parts which will be available as the season’s rewards. Let’s go!
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all.
Relic single-shot shotgun
We have already mentioned this weapon a few times as part of our Q&A sessions and livestreams, and now it’s time to get a closer look at it. The shotgun will appear in the game with the launch of the new season, but it won’t be a part of the season’s rewards scale. You will be able to craft it like all other “relics” in the game — on the Engineers’ “Secret workshop” workbench.
We are not ready to share its parameters yet, as the work on refining and improving the shotgun is still in progress. But we can already tell you about its perk!
If half or more of the pellets from the first shot hit the target, the next shot will be a combined shot. This means that the enemy will be hit first with a shot that heats up the parts, and then with a shot that does the main damage.
Special frontal machine gun
This new frontal machine gun closes the gap in the line of frontal machine guns and is a continuation of the “ST-M23 Defender” and the predecessor of the “M-29 Protector”.
Compared to the previously mentioned “Protector”, the machine gun has increased durability (and therefore greater mass) and also has a perk.
The perk is identical to the one of “Protector”, but it will have a lesser bonus value.
Epic module that increases the damage resistance for attached parts
With the new season, a new mechanics will appear in Crossout. With its help, special welding points (“pins”) will be added on a number of parts. Parts attached to at least one of these points will receive bonuses. Let’s take a look at how this is going to work using a specific example with a module from the upcoming season.
You can see the special welding points of this module on its corners. Any part attached to at least one of such points will receive increased resistance to all types of damage. This way, depending on the placement of the module on your assembly, you can extend the lifetime of your structural parts, weapons, cabin, etc.
Of course, you can’t increase the resistance indefinitely: only one such module can be mounted on a car.

We had a small update planned for Halloween. We missed our deadline by exactly one day, but we thought we'd still upload it and allow you all to celebrate the Spooky Holiday once again.
This update adds a brand new secret epilogue to the game! In order to see it, you need to complete the game on any difficulty and save both non-player characters. Going forward, this variation of the ending is the canon version and will lead into Derange 2. It also connects the game to the One Night series, Dark Gaia's previous horror franchise.
We've also tinkered with the Steam achievements. Any instances of them not triggering should now be fixed.
We have just released a patch to fix issues in the latest update. Notably, character resetting between multiplayer campaign rounds and issues with job assignment have been addressed. See the full list of changes below and please be sure to update your game to be able to host and join servers!

Changes: - Remove spawnpoint-based job assignment logic. Previously, the number of job-specific spawnpoints in the sub affected how many players the server would try to assign to a given job, which would often lead to players not getting the job they wanted to. - Made the captain job optional (i.e. if no-one has captain in their preferences, no-one gets forced to play as one). - Improvements to the Korean localization. - Added rewards to side objective missions (hunting grounds, beacon). - Reduce Pyromaniac's burning damage increase from 40% to 25%.

Strategy with A Variety of Warriors Lineup
There are five types of warriors in this game: Spear-wielder(restricts the Rider), Shield-holder(restricts the Spear-wielder), Rider(restricts the Shield-holder), Archer and Advisor can restrict each other and it adopts the Star chart skills: the Polis, the Alkaid, Dubhe and Polaris, which can divide the unique attribute skills of each warrior, such as Burning, Stunning, freezing and imprison. So many variety of warrior line-ups for your choosing, it's time to show your in-depth strategy.
Diplomatic Siege and Domestic Reign
This game adopts realistic maps and uses county sections to show the land of cities and counties. Every time you conquered a city, you will not only be able to "scavenge" tons of gold, food, and military supplies, but also be able to increase your rank and titles.
The domestic affairs of the country and the state are a good example of the emperor's ruling strategy. If go with the conservative governance, you can resist foreign invasion, be self-sufficient and your people live and work in peace and contentment; If go with aggressive expansion, you can continue to conquer the surrounding cities, expand your territory, force messengers to pay tribute, and prosper the whole country. Whether to go with conservative or aggressive strategy, it depends entirely on your philosophy of governance!
