Outbreak Island - Raywantstoplay
Hello detectives!

We continue to work on Outbreak Island, and today we want to tell you a little bit about the game’s open world.

As we have already mentioned, you will be surviving on Erlsen Island. The area of the island is about 16 square kilometers. We have chosen this size to avoid large boring spaces. However, we also hope that you will not get crowded on the island and enjoy both beautiful views and long journeys.



Speaking of travel. You can move in the open world not only on foot but also by car. But we will tell you more about this in the next development diaries!




The weather in Outbreak Island will constantly change. Rain, fog, cloud cover or sunny day will help or hinder your survival as a detective.

The time of day changes as well since we're talking about the changes! Imagine sitting in your camp at night with your tent by the fire, traps set around for safety, and a tripod-mounted camera allowing you to follow what's going on from the comfort of your seat. Scary, but atmospheric and even cozy!



Nature in the game is also quite diverse. For example, there are wolves, deer, and even bears on the island. You can hunt them or become a prey yourself.




Don't forget about the Transformed Ones. The former inhabitants of the island have gone mad from a mysterious experiment and now roam the island. They are aggressive, dangerous and know no fatigue. But you can blind them with a camera or fight back with a gun in your hands. Do you have enough ammunition though?

Hi everyone,

here is another regular update, the changes:
SRPGStudio updated,
add arranged script option (work in progress: first 7 chapters only),
rework ch 30 completely,
change Siegfried double sword for a royal sword in part 1 (same as Athena sword),
add noble sword for Abel (effective against horseback and armored units) and
noble sword + in cheat shop,
add more enemy vocation variety with armored and horseback units,
recheck and updated all the tuto screen,
add manual in the extra/battle preparation where you can review any tutorial,
add Rena Saiya and SapphireSoft illustrations in the extra gallery,
add Aria advice for the extra map,
corrected Gawain Dragon Knight vocation,
corrected Dragon Knight long range motion,
rename Medium Aura and Medium Fighter abilities to Aura and Fighter,
rename High Aura ability to dark Aura and changed the icon,
critical rate number colored in the battle forecast (red = 0, blue >=30, green = 100).

Notes: This version has been only playtested in normal and walkmode.

Changes (most of them may need to test):
  • Fix enemy ignore 2nd player after restart level (after 2nd player dead)
  • Integer issues: change comma to dotted for numeric (need to test)
  • Steam overlay hide mouse on some pause screen
  • Corner of PC consoles inside lobby hq area are now got collider
  • Reduce jammer and fire screen effect opacity
  • Re-configure loot box area that make player exploit the weapons.
  • Save game before exiting to main menu
  • Select level menu "confirmation" button are now disable first.
  • Icon "?" for story on main menu changes to "book" icon
  • "X" buttons inside story page are now disable
  • Major: Remove player can join / invite during 1P play. This to prevent bug on 2nd player lobby with floating objectives
  • Added advertiser

    Still Known Issues: Lost collider / No Hit / No Interaction after a while play.
