As the devs polish and finish up the main story of the game, and we slowly approach the announced earlier playtests; we would like to introduce you to something that will allow you to create your own presidency! The bills introduced in the previous devblog and the little hint about your own creations are just a little snippet of the game’s full potential, which can be realised with your creativity and imagination!
Along with the game’s full release, we will be giving you access to a beta version of a story editor, so you can write your own bills and implement your own projects! You will be able to edit the majority of the game’s aspects, going even as far as creating from grounds up your own campaign.
The unfortunate news is that the editor will require at least a brief familiarity with Unity as it will be a set of editing tools. For those without the necessary knowledge, we will release tutorials, helping with learning the story editor and its functionalities.
Depending on the interest and feedback from the community, we will develop the editor further and try to make it as accessible as possible, even considering reworking the editor into an easy-to-use website!

The Mad Scientist Marni’s creation, Innocence Mk XII, has appeared in Marni’s Spooky Playground! It’s time to crush this robot’s innocence in a no-holds-barred game of rock, paper, scissors!
Event 1. Transform and Roll Out!
Event Period - October 27, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance – November 10, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance
Event Details ① Log in during the event to receive the items below from the Challenge (Y) menu.
* The event Challenge resets daily at midnight (00:00) and can be completed once a day per Family. * Make sure to receive the Challenge rewards every day as the rewards do not stack in the Challenge (Y) menu! * The Transformation Scrolls can only be used near the location (North Abandoned Quarry) where the Innocence Mk XII appears.
② The Transformation Scrolls have a skill that allows you to attack the special Halloween boss, Innocence Mk XII. - Check out the How to Defeat the Innocence Mk XIII in Event 3 for more details about the Transformation Scrolls.
Event 2. Questing for Innocence
Event Period - October 28, 2021 (Thu) 00:00 – November 10, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance
Event Details - During the event, accept the quest below from the NPC Rubin. (You can also view the quest from the Quest (O) - New tab!)
* You must have completed the “[Event] Head Stuck in the Clouds” Halloween quest to be able to accept this quest. * This quest is a weekly quest that can be completed once a week. (Resets every Thursday at 00:00)

▲ The [Event][Manor] Pumpkin Prophet/Posh Pumpkin are Manor-exclusive items.
* Make sure not to lose the [Event][Manor] Pumpkin Prophet/Posh Pumpkin, because you’ll be able to use them once the Manor update is released!

Event 3. Defeating Innocence Mk XII!
Event Period - October 27, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance - November 10, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance
Event Details ① The special Halloween boss, Innocence Mk XII, will appear during the event.
* Note: The Innocence Mk XII will not appear on the Season-Arsha, Arsha and Olvia servers.
* Once the event boss appears, PvP will be disabled until the boss is defeated. However, be aware that PvP will be possible on the roads.
* The HP of the event boss is shared across all servers, and if the event boss is not defeated within 30 minutes after it appears, the boss will despawn.
How to Defeat Innocence Mk XII
① Before you can defeat Innocence Mk XII, you’ll first need to use the MOD Oog Mk III/VIII Transformation Scroll or MOD Mago Mk V Transformation Scroll and interact (R) with the summoned unit to control it.
- The Transformation Scroll’s summons have a skill that can be used to attack the Innocence Mk XIII.

② After transforming, use LMB/RMB to attack the Innocence Mk XII. - You cannot attack the boss with a normal character’s skills. - The Innocence Mk XII’s attacks will still hurt normal characters and mounts, so watch out!
③ The Innocence Mk XII will randomly deploy one of three attack patterns. - If you successfully disrupt the Innocence Mk XII, the boss will lose power and fall down. (This is your time to attack!) - If you fail to disrupt the Innocence Mk XII, the boss will unleash a merciless, large-scale skill. (Transformations will automatically end if you run out of stamina from taking damage, but you can still obtain loot as a normal character, so don’t worry!)
Pattern One - Rock, Paper, Scissors
In the Rock, Paper, Scissors attack pattern, the message “Warning. Warning.” will appear and the Innocence Mk XII will begin to prepare for Rock, Paper, Scissors. You’ll need to match the timing and use your transformed unit’s Rock, Paper, Scissors skill to beat the Innocence Mk XII!
[Majority of the Adventurers on the Server Beat the Innocence Mk XII at Rock, Paper, Scissors]: Disruption successful! The Innocence Mk XII will lose power and fall down.
[Majority of the Adventurers on the Server Lose to the Innocence Mk XII at Rock, Paper, Scissors]: Disruption unsuccessful! The Innocence Mk XII will use a devastating large-scale skill.
Pattern Two – Innocence Mk XI
In this attack pattern, the Innocence Mk XII will summon eight Innocence Mk XI to help it. In order to successfully disrupt the event boss, you’ll need to get close to an Innocence Mk XI and beat it in the Rock, Paper, Scissors.
[Beat the Innocence Mk XI at Rock, Paper, Scissors]: The Innocence Mk XI can now be defeated.
[Draw or Lose to the Innocence Mk XI at Rock, Paper, Scissors]: You’ll be attacked by the Innocence Mk XI.
If several Adventurers challenge the Innocence Mk XI at rock, paper, scissors, victory will only be decided if a majority of Adventurers win. Watch out if the majority loses or draws as the boss will unleash an attack!
The end goal is to defeat at least six of the eight Innocence MK XI! [Defeat Six or More Innocence Mk XI]: Disruption successful! The Innocence Mk XII will lose power and fall down.
[Fail to Defeat Six or More Innocence Mk XI] Disruption unsuccessful! The Innocence Mk XII will use a devastating large-scale skill.
Pattern Three - Three-way Rock, Paper, or Scissors
In the third attack pattern, three different colors will indicate areas as either rock, paper, or scissors.
You’ll need to move to the area that you can beat with your transformation scroll’s skills and use the right skill (Q/E) to win. Keep in mind that the skills each transformation scroll has are different, so pay close attention to which area is which!
[Win at Rock, Paper, Scissors]: Disruption successful! You’ll be attacked and healed at the same time, so you won’t receive damage.
[Lose at Rock, Paper, Scissors] Disruption unsuccessful! You’ll be attacked and receive damage.
② Defeat the Innocence Mk 12 for a chance to obtain the following loot. * The [Event] Innocence Mk XII Part can be sold to NPC Vendors for 100,000 silver.
③ Bring the [Event] Innocence Mk XII Parts to the NPC Lylina in Calpheon to exchange them for the following interior items.

Hello there retro gaming fans and / or laundromat enthusiasts (we know there's a few of you out there!) It's been a couple of weeks now since we closed off the doors of King Wash for some renovations after letting you loose in there during the steam NEXT festival - we trust you had a good time and didn't do anything silly like attempt to open an arcade there or anything like that...
It was fascinating watching everyone get to grips with the finer art of linen care, and the feedback received has reinforced some update decisions, and spurred on others!
Don't take our word for it though - here's Dre from Nosebleed with a lovely update for you, the first in a series of regular info drops that will keep your eyes engaged until Arcade Paradise is back in your hands early next year!
Welcome to King Wash
Hello arcade owners! It’s Dre from Nosebleed here and first of all we want to thank everyone who downloaded the Arcade Paradise Demo and provided feedback on your thoughts. We were overwhelmed with the fantastic feedback and how much you guys got stuck into it, whether it be for the nostalgia kick, how pleasantly surprised people found the individual arcade games or even people who got more invested in the laundry side of the game finding it very relaxing to do.
When the demo launched, the build was already 2 months old and has had significant updates since which we’d like to share to alleviate any worries you may have about the game as part of this developer update.
Accessibility Updates
We want to make sure that everyone who plays Arcade Paradise is comfortable so we’ll be introducing accessibility options so you can customize your game. Adjustable field of view has been highly requested and is something we are looking into. The game was designed to have this specific FOV in order to interact with the arcade cabinets and laundry however we now see that some people wanted more freedom with this. Options we have already implemented include adjustable text speed, a reticule to make it easier to point and aim to interact with things, camera sensitivity options and an option to remap keys/controls.
Self Improvement
Beyond this (and some of the more crazy bugs we'll obviously be fixing) there are a few bits of gameplay that I'd like to highlight. We have a whole array of cool player upgrades coming, that will make your life easier and allow you to play the game the way you want. Stuff like a digital safe you can just drop cash into, a gold watch which doesn't have bleepy alerts and even a self help book which teaches you how to manipulate space and time... so you can spend more time playing games!

Work Smarter, Not Harder
We have fixed numerous bugs already... and we’re not talking about the ones you find in the arcade cabs! We know some of you like to have a clean shop so now customers will no longer litter in areas that are impossible to reach, the front doors have had a new fitting so throwing your garbage out of King Wash won’t have the door knocking against you and the laundry system is being reworked so there is a cut off point for customers bringing in dirty clothes. That means they won’t be allowed to bring any new baskets late into the night whilst you’re busy playing arcade games so you can make sure there is no outstanding laundry left overnight.
People found a hilarious bug where a third arm might appear. Although the game is set a couple of years before controllers were designed for 3 hands, this has now been fixed! With all the bug fixes, we hope you have a smoother experience running King Wash.
(Not actually in the game as it released about 3 years after when Arcade Paradise is set)
Lastly, adjustments are being made to the world so it is going to be more filled and brimming with life. We’re not quite ready to share this yet but keep an eye out in the coming months when we’re ready to show more so make sure to Wishlist and follow on Steam!

It's been a journey as a solo developer, but it is not over! There will be a lot of quality improvements over the month of November, as well as looking out for any technical issues that may be present.
There will be a video update regarding the proper launch requirements for Witches Vs. Demons on the Oculus Quest 1/2.
I will detail it below in written format ahead of the video though:
A. Launch Oculus Link B. Launch Steam on Desktop C. Launch Steam VR from Oculus Link through your Desktop D. Allow SteamVR to load and open within Oculus Link, then click on Witches Vs. Demons play button within the SteamVR application
Once you are inside the title you can either press the Oculus Left Menu Button to open the Main Menu, you can navigate the menu options in a few ways, but the primary interaction will be done from using the Keyboard Keys while within VR, then Pressing Enter on the selected option.
This will be updated to a 3D widget space for VR before the final launch, but for accessibility purposes and to allow players to experience Witches Vs. Demons this was the chosen interaction method for VR currently.
I will keep a keen eye out for Feedback regarding Witches Vs. Demons, if any issues are experienced please feel free to directly reach out with the issue and potential reproduction steps if applicable.
There will be a lot of updates coming over the next few weeks, I will start utilizing the announcement section more often for updates throughout this period!

A small update. The development keeps going, just not as fast as we wanted it to be. We do always keep in mind that people are waiting for the news and we will make it as soon as it will be possible. P.S. if there was no development, I would say so. I don't see the point of lying about it, as our intention is to fix the game, not to ruin it more.
Today's development status will be a little different from previous ones... We didn't give candies to the kids from the neighborhood who came to our office, and they pranked us! They uploaded Halloween related malware to our project and we didn’t manage to deal with it yet. Anyway, we decided to present you a 19th Development Status and our work as always, every two weeks.
German Campaign
We’ve prepared a draft for a German Campaign made of 6 missions. Each mission is on a different map and has got different characteristics that make it special and unique.
So far the missions are set in this order:
Small Village - Learn basic mechanics of the game
Village with river - Learn complex mechanics of the game
Forest - Close distance combat
Steps - Long distance combat
Village with train station - Tactical Battle
Village with fortifications - Tactical Battle
Each mission is going to have a set of scripts that control the pace and the difficulty of the mission. The scripts include:

Animation motion-capture
This week we’ve configured and began to record character animations using Rokoko motion capture technology. It consists of a special costume with sensors over whole body including head and fingers. We went to a shooting range to record shooting animations. With motion Capture we've tried to obtain animations like: Moving with Weapons/ Changing position from stance to crouch to prone/ Shooting / reloading weapon / Position for holding specific weapons.
