Dear Explorers! We are bringing you our brand new Halloween Patch! Happy Halloween!
New Gameplay: A Fantastic Beast and Where to Find It
Skeleton Horse
It is a skeleton war horse burning with the flames of hell. Legend has it that the skeleton horse is the mount of the knight of hell, and is the most reliable partner of the knight. It can fly to the sky and dive into the sea like walking on the ground, and the energy from hell also gives it the power of eternal life.
Left click - Normal attack
Right click- Sacrifice: unleashes the flames of hell to inflict continuous damage to enemies within a certain range (damage value correlates to the HP of the enemy, while damage upper limit correlates to the percentage of melee damage of the skeleton horse)
'C' button - path of flame, activates its own hell energy, increases its own movement speed by 50% and melee damage by 30%. Moving will leave a hell flame in place, enemies near the hell flame will take continuous damage (1-50 dmg/0.5 sec)
Fire creatures are immune to the above skills
Magical Crystal Berry: The food favored by skeleton horses that replenish their hell energy. It can be crafted at magic workbench with a dark Magic Stone and a magic berry.
Where to find it?

Welcome to the new season of Atlas: “Sea of Wonders”. We are happy to announce several new additions to Atlas this season, some of which you may consider “Monumental.” With this patch, we are introducing a new early game experience, new endgame gameplay loop, new map with distinct regions, new ships, gear and weapons, and a long awaited fan request… Let’s take a look at what we have for you!
Note: The update will be accompanied by a full server wipe to accommodate for these map and gameplay changes.
New Content
New player experience Freeports We have updated the freeport areas to be more visually appealing. Some of the pirate edwin introductory lines have been removed to improve clarity while starting the game.
Skill Tree We would like players to have to diversify their crew member's skills to have a well maintained and working company. We have reworked the skill tree where you can unlock every skill discipline from the survival tree. Think about the skills you want to have as pathfinders will no longer be able to unlock every skill.
New Max Level Cap: 110
New Base Max Level (before discoveries): 77
All skill disciplines have been reworked
Removed the song and dance skill discipline
Changed firearms discipline to ranged combat
Map Changes
Atlas has expanded! Visit new areas based on geographical locations
Regions Available
Rookie Cove - An area for all pathfinders to cruise the seas in peace. A cove for all to gather their bearings and test their newfound abilities until they are comfortable to progress full sail ahead!
Central Waters - The largest area in the game and host to a healthy mix of tropical/temperate islands, but also an ancient evil told in Atlantean myths. Can you find all the power stones and defeat the greatest challenge?
South America - A region home to tropical/equatorial areas. However, there seems to be faint chanting amongst this region. Will you be able to find the source of this hidden power?
Africa - A region home to the hottest desert Islands around. Crocodiles, venomous snakes and lots and lots of sand call this region home.
Antarctica - The harshest sub-zero climates, icebergs, penguins, and illusive yeti's populate the islands around here.
North Pole - The north pole is similar to Antarctica, but to the north. Same freezing weather but perhaps the treasures here are the defining difference.
Atlas Menu Map The Atlas Menu has been modified to fit the new regions available. The following tabs are available for you to look at.
Overworld - The first map drafted by early cartographers. A general outline of the world is available.
Rookie Cove - The home to the starting, self-titled region
Central Ocean - You will find the map to the Central Waters region here
Mediterranean Sea - The blazing hot desert islands of Africa region is here
Central Maw - Uncharted waters, but rumor has it that the Kraken's lair is here
South Atlantic Ocean - Tropical Oasis of the South America Region are found here
Arctic Ocean - The extreme colds of the North Pole Region are located here
Southern Ocean - The freezing depths of the Antarctica Region are here
Portals
Atlantean technology has arisen from the dark depths of abysses unknown. With it however, it looks like traveling from region to region has become a whole lot quicker, but perhaps even more dangerous.
Pathfinder Portals - The privateers before you have taken it upon themselves to start studying the portals as well as providing safe passage through these portals. Located within Rookie Cove and Central Waters, these portals will transport you between these regions!
Perpetual Portals - It seems the Atlanteans created a sort of oceanic highway. A free, reliable way of travel between regions. They have arisen from the depths and are available for all to travel through and explore!
Damaged Portals - In the thousands of years Atlanteans have gone missing, not all of the portals have been kept in functional shape or have been left unfinished. These portals need some extra gem power to travel through. Be warned these do not stay open forever!
Cost:
Magic Marrow: 50
Gold Coin: 250
Central Portal - Seemingly, this seems to be the first type of portal ever created! However, it seems to have been keeping something away rather than allowing others in. Located in the Central Waters Region only, it seems to need power stones to open. Will you be the first to see what's on the other side?

Final Note
Again, we would like to emphasize that ATLAS is still in Early Access, meaning many things can and will likely continue to drastically change - even in the middle of development. Anything discussed is only up to date as of the moment it is posted. Features and changes that ultimately make it to the next patch, as well as timing, may be different from what was previously discussed.
As always, we appreciate the suggestions and feedback from the community. Please keep them coming! Thank you for all of your support! :)
Happy Sailing, - ATLAS Crew
For the latest dispatch on #playATLAS keep yer one good eye trained on this here information
This version brings the standard issue update to the latest version of the Unity Engine, as well as a new music track: Voile, the Magic Library from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
The biggest addition, however, is the new Rumia mode! It's an expert mode in which block faces are blacked out, you get no block previews, and you start with rows of blocks already on the board. There's also a cool new bomb. Enjoy!
There's another music track I'll probably add in due time but for now, give Rumia mode a try and let me know what you think!
Halloween is almost upon us, and we've got some themed words to celebrate. Check out the new Halloween category (last category in the list)--it's already unlocked and ready to play!
We've also included some tweaks to make Level 5 difficulty puzzles much less frustrating. If you were having trouble finishing categories before, give this update a shot and let us know what you think!
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
Bug fixes to Steam Datagram Relay (SDR) support. This is currently in limited testing. We will have more info about this when it rolls out more broadly.
Happy Halloween in the coming days, to celebrate I have made a small update all Halloween themed. This update adds some temporary changes and some extra objects to the game. Hop into the game to see them yourself before they're gone! [Game will go back to normal on the 4th of November]
New World Update 1.0.4 will release for the Central Europe, US East, South America, and AP Southeast regions at 10PM PT (5AM UTC) on October 27. US West will begin downtime at 11PM PT (6AM UTC) on October 27.
Greetings, Adventurers!
Update 1.0.4 is primarily focused on fixing the top issues our players have been hitting in recent weeks, especially those impacting wars. Notable fixes include resolving the AoE magic effect War exploit, the issue preventing players from being able to appropriately increase their Faction token cap, and beginning work on addressing issues causing invulnerability. We’d like to thank you for your patience as our team continues to work on resolving the issues, and for your reports on our official forums. You can find a full list of changes and fixes below, but first, we’d like to share our plan for rolling out Outpost Rush and server transfers in a safe method.
Outpost Rush and Server Transfers Rollout Plan
After the downtime required to deploy the 1.0.4 update, we will re-enable Outpost Rush and server transfers at the times listed below.
Server Transfers
US West will be enabled at 2AM PT (9AM UTC) when downtime from 1.0.4 is complete. After we monitor Server Transfers in US West to ensure no new issues are encountered, we will re-enable it for the remaining regions at 2PM PT (9PM UTC). No server restarts are required.
Outpost Rush
South America: 2AM PT (9AM UTC) when downtime from 1.0.4 is complete.
After we monitor Outpost Rush in South America to ensure no new issues are encountered, we will enable it for the following regions at the times below.
US West: 10AM PT (5PM UTC)
US East: 12PM PT (7PM UTC)
AP Southeast: 2PM PT (9PM UTC)
Central Europe: 7PM PT (2AM UTC, 10/29)
Our goal is to adhere to the schedule above, but may need to adjust the timing depending on any issues (or lack thereof). We’ll keep you updated on our forums and through in-game messaging for any incoming downtime. Thank you to our players in US West and South America for helping us ensure these features are ready for the worldwide rollout, and thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience.
General Changes
Removed the Everfall starting beach to funnel new players through the other 3 locations to increase the probability of new players and friends being able to start together.
The first house discount reduces the purchase price, but does not reduce taxes. However, the UI indicated to players that their taxes would be reduced, and it was only after purchasing the house and needing to pay taxes that they discovered they had to pay full price. We will compensate any player who purchased a house before the UI fix went out with 2,000 coins.
Slightly improved performance within Wars.
Slightly improved the performance of the Life Staff with changes to the passive abilities Mending Touch and Blissful Touch.
In update 1.0.3 we corrected a bug causing companies to lose income from owning multiple territories or from failed War declarations. With this update we are reimbursing lost coin revenue. The Company treasury will be reimbursed for all lost coin revenue resulting from the issue. The revenue returned will not exceed the treasury cap. If a Company has been completely abandoned, they will not recover lost coin.
We increased the Faction token cap by 50% for each Faction tier. We made this change so that players can earn extra tokens even if they've hit the reputation cap and want to save up while working to advance to the next Faction rank. Here are the new values: Tier 1: 5,000 tokens, increased to 7,500 Tier 2: 10,000 tokens, increased to 15,000 Tier 3: 15,000 tokens, increased to 22,500 Tier 4: 25,000 tokens, increased to 37,500 Tier 5: 50,000 tokens, increased to 75,000
General Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Faction token caps were not increasing after players had completed the rank-up quests for their faction.
Fixed a rare issue causing world time to skip ahead or behind, which would subsequently cause a variety of issues across the world.
Fixed an issue causing players to lose houses they owned in Cutlass Keys.
Fixed several rare server crash issues.
Fixed an issue with the suspension/ban notification showing incorrect times.
Fixed an issue where players could use their world transfer token while they still had active trading post contracts, causing additional issues when the transfer resolved.
Fixed an issue causing some AI to not spawn in the world as intended.
Fixed an issue where Mrykgard Corrupted portals in Shattered Mountain were distributing higher tier gear than intended, and respawning faster than intended.
Fixed an issue where enemies in Myrkgard Corrupted portal events were dropping loot.
Fixed an issue causing an unintended animation when interacting with the bubbling cauldron housing item, and an issue causing the ladle object to not appear in the player’s hand while interacting.
Fixed an issue with Starmetal and Orichalcum ore veins where large ore veins were rewarding small amounts of ore and small ore veins were rewarding larger amounts of ore.
Fixed an issue where the War lottery timer would not pause correctly during the War lockout period.
Fixed the render distance of the Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin lights.
Fixed an issue causing the GM chat tag to show on non-GM players.
Fixed an issue causing armor textures to flicker.
Fixed an issue in the Starstone Barrows Expedition where the arcane protection was not protecting players from certain lasers.
Fixed an issue where certain enemies in the Amrine Excavation were invulnerable.
Fixed an issue where the Ice Pylon could stay on an infinite cooldown.
Fixed an issue where players could obtain rings that had two perks sharing an exclusive perk label, and shouldn't exist on the same ring.
Fixed an issue causing the projectile visual to be absent from Ice Gauntlet and Ice Pylon attacks.
Fixed an issue where players would be unable to complete a variety of game actions after fast traveling.
Speculative Fixes
The fixes listed below are tentative fixes and mitigations. Our goal is to get these changes out and see if issues persist, so we can continue to work on them and address in a future update if necessary.
Fixed a War exploit where players could use area of effect (AoE) magic effects to capture rally points without taking damage. This should be improved by the War performance and Life Staff performance updates, but we will continue to monitor to see if issues persist.
We have fixed several known causes of players being invulnerable. This issue is a top priority for our team, and we are continuing to track down fixes for additional causes of this issue.
We have speculatively fixed the issue where players could get stuck after leaving Outpost Rush. This was a rare issue and our team was not able to reproduce it. We will continue to monitor during the rollout.
Thank you for your support! We’ll see you in Aeternum.

Boo! Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya. I'm just SO excited to tell you about all the new stuff we added to Everybody Wham Wham for Halloween!!
This time of year is special for the 4 of us at Bonte Avond because 1) we made our very first game jam game back around Halloween 2019 and 2) Halloween is basically the best day ever. I mean carving pumpkins, ghost stories by the campfire, cackling like a crazy witch -- what's not to love?
So we knew we wanted to do a fun update, but this one is extra special because this is the first time we've involved our community in designing new items! We gave them a lil template and told them to let their spooky imaginations run wild. Here's a couple examples made by Fawkes and Michelle:
We then took their designs and made them into vector art! Check out their cauldron hat and skeleton arm:
There's a whole bunch more items to find from lots more creative people (check the credits below). We'll definitely be doing more community-driven updates in the future, so if you want to take part join us in our Discord!
