I'm thrilled to present version 2 of my game Hide Seek Survive! If you had problems with the original don't you worry because I actually started from scratch and rebuilt the game from the ground up. The game is now played on a completely different map, and all of the characters perform significantly differently than the first version.
In terms of performance this version is well beyond the first. The file size is only 4.8 GB and I average 120 FPS on my 2060 NVIDIA Laptop Card. I'm very proud of this new version of the game and worked really, really hard to get this out in time for Halloween so I hope you enjoy!

So I figured a video format would save me some typing. So here you go! VA is past the first clean and polish and will be completely mastered by Demo release. We are waiting on the two Main Character VA to finish the final Section.
As you can see, backgrounds got more polish and will probably be further refined when we start working on UI.
Yes Szycrotic is in the demo. Maybe not THIS outfit! XD This outfit is going to be in the Twitch and Hentai Routes for Asterella Star, hence the censor tape.
As you can see from the top videos. We have started refining and testing the live 2D models IN GAME.
Lots still to refine, as we change a few expressions and animations to better suit the narrative and the direction we want to take.
All the black silhouettes will have custom animations. The ones you see in the videos are simply placeholders for the real ones. These will be for the generic NPC's that will be scattered throughout the world and story. The scale is pretty big. To save budget, we are forced to do that. Which brings us to the next piece.
Surprise Cameos!
Now this is new! It was something we wanted to do but didn't want things to clash while in game. However, I think as a community game, we can afford to add some cool extra Vtubers into the mix.
Most of them will be using their own models, and will voice, and interact directly with the development team to lock down their little cameos. Using their own models allows us budget space to be able to populate the story with more focused NPC's, and bring a bit more fun to it!
Unity: Save States is almost complete. UI is after. I already have been working on some ideas. We want everything from UI to Characters, to background to be 60fps and above to be a smooth and enjoyable experience. After UI is figured out, implementing the H Scene around that should be easy. Only thing I see being tricky is setting up the interaction touch zones and locking down the final system for that.
VA: Still a few lines to get done at the very end of the demo. First real polish pass has started on balancing and mastering. It will continue to be polished as we move towards the demo release.
Translations:
Coming along great! They are moving faster than I expected tbh. There is still work integrating the translations into the game, but that is at the end of the demo development process. We are building with it in mind.
Live 2D: Owlidy, https://twitter.com/Owlidy , Our Rigger, has been hard at work. Asterella Star is final. And Szy is almost done. Rigging on the custom npcs plus the H Scene are continuing.
This all is work past the demo. The key to remember is the Unity work will be about 95 percent complete when the demo is released. So, with that in mind, I would really appreciate your patience as we refine and nail down the backbone of this game.

This is the first time we try to develop a game that combined minigames and collectibles. Play the minigames with your friends and families to get the Gacha Tokens, throw them in the Gacha Machine, and get OVER 300 pieces of collectibles: CGs/Cosplay Album/Video/OST, and more!
※The game is in Early Access. We plan to eventually increase minigames to 12 ones and collectibles 1000+.

We know that many of you are concerned with the recent development of Mirror 2.
We'd like to thank you for your support! We've been reading every review that you posted since day 1 Mirror was released. We value your input and feedback on this game very seriously.
Early-stage into the development of Mirror 2, we immediately felt how challenging it is to switch from 2D to 3D technical-wise. It's so much more than we initially expected. We're kinda like toddlers trying to learn how to run like Usain Bolt.
But we carried on, we've found the power to push us through the difficulties a long time ago - We just want to make a fun game, it's simple as that. All the pain, sweat, and hardship are just a part of the journey. We're still in the process of leveling up, we're still trying to clear the obstacles, we're learning new stuff every day. So we have to apologize, that Mirror 2 needs more time to polish before we can show it to you all.
But the good news is, although having many obstacles, we've done something right and some part of the game already looks pretty good. It's not as pretty as we'd like it to be, but still, we managed to make a formal trailer, so you can have a basic understanding of how the game is going to be like. We hope you can see our passion and love for the game. And we'd like to hear what you would like to say about our progress so far.

1. We have made some changes to our combat system in this new demo version: after killing the enemies, it’s possible to acquire new combat moves that could be edited to your combat sequence. Now you could actually build your own attack sequence! Besides, attack moves also got a level system. 2. Equipment won’t directly increase your basic attack power now. Attack power will be increased entirely through iterative attack moves. Some special facilities will be added to the game in future updates that can directly upgrade levels of the attack moves (this update might be happening during this particular testing period). 3. The game content you could experience this time is almost the same as the previous tests - you can play for 7 in-game days and encounter the first boss (Marshal).
