As we said on previous updates we are happy to announce a big update for Smithy Wars!
On this new update you'll be able to solve puzzles to unlock chests, evade traps, build walls and outposts for your base!
Loot is procedurally generated! So players that don't know how to enchant will be able to get pre-enchanted loot. Its not as optimized as a custom made item as some players min-maxed (Eyeing that pendant!)

Welcome to Halloweentown! I never saw the movie so I can't make any references .. I'm not sure where I'm going with this. Let's change the topic. NEW GUILD! Let's look at all of the new things in this update:
Witch Guild!
New guild to join with 3 unique relics and a broom to fly around on
Enemies can now be a witch in the tournament
New achievement for joining
Adventure Mode
Mana is now gained each match (don't have to wait until end of day)
Guilds can be visited at any time of day
Playable characters now reward two mana for defeating them (day 3 and onwards)
Main Menu
New "Past Runs" menu to see all of the times you .. well, failed.
Quality of Life
Changed quests that were too basic to simple indicators
Now showing actual quest progress (eg. "1 out of 3 more enemies to defeat")
Quests now tell you if they were completed at end-of-match screen
Starting the quest line for the Witch guild gives you a starter broom that flies around rather slow. Defeat an enemy while riding it to gain entry to the guild. At this point you get a much faster broom. Two of the relics affect your broom riding and the third is a new ability:
Tiana, Power of the Frog - Gain a spell which temporarily transforms your opponent into a frog.
Cauldron Shield - Gives you a shield that blocks all projectiles for two seconds upon mounting your broom.
Necklace of Surprise - Doubles the damage of your first secondary move after mounting your broom.

Our Halloween modpack has been overhauled by Gainos and Lone Pine for maximum spooks. You'll find ghosts and witches roaming the land, a variety of new ambient sounds to send a chill down your spine, and even some surprises for you to discover! Keep an eye on the newspaper, and be prepared for your citizens to request a resting place for the dearly departed...
If you are subscribed to (or had downloaded and unpacked) our previous Halloween modpack, be sure to either delete it or rename it to prevent issues. You can manually manage modpacks by navigating to your ./steamapps/common/NewCity/modpacks/ folder.
Fixed a bug with the auto-room tool where rooms could not be created unless an entrance was selected.
Fixed a bug where focusing the window before the application had fully initialized could throw an error complaining about an uninitialized keyboard device.
Reduced the modifier for the camera panning with the middle mouse button. It might still be a bit fast.
In other news, I am preparing some fun new plants and props for you to build with! I've also been compiling my notes on features I'd like to add and preparing for the coming months. Really excited to build more Battle Map Studio!
Got another patch for two bugs that came up with the new LNL in the wild. Should fix people not being able to connect in some cases (this is actually regression due to our custom fork of LNL having a fix for this, but the official one not having one) and crashes in some cases due to unrealible packets being too big.
Compatible with previous, but update is recommended to avoid issues!
Bugfixes:
- Fixed wrong version of LiteNetLib.dll file in the headless build preventing the headless from booting (reported by @Raith | Programmer and @Shadow Panther [RU/EN, UTC+3]) - Fixed headless not being able to start without login credentials - Fixed regression causing users to randomly disconnect due to receiving WSAENETRESET network error (generally this is harmless) (reported by @ohzee through QC channel, @AshtonSparx and @Ba'Gamnan91, GH #3252) - Fixed crash when unreliable messages exceed the maximum packet size (reported by @TheBasementNerd (she/her), HammyHams and @Shifty | Quality Control Lead, GH #3251) -- E.g. with freshly joined users in combination with audio streaming in the world) -- Note that the bugfix for this is currently not ideal and can potentially cause some drops and unecessary extra network usage, but the occurence should be generally low to cause problems in practice. Let us know if you notice new issues with audio streams (e.g. them lagging behind a lot or dropping severely)
