BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition - D-Dub Software
BoneTown has always encouraged alternate play styles so you can free up a hand for that all-important one-handed gaming. But in all seriousness, BoneTown now supports not only XBox controllers, but also Playstation, Logitech, and any other controller you can use on Steam.
If you already use an XBox controller (which we've supported since the beginning), and are wondering what this has to do with you? Plenty. First of all, you now have more control over your XBox controller in the game, From individualizing each thumb stick's sensitivity, to changing buttons with ease, XBox controllers just got a lot more powerful in BoneTown.
The other thing that is important for XBox controller users is if you have Forced Off the Controller Option for BoneTown, you need to set it back to Global Setting. If you need help doing that, take a look at our FAQ here.
We hope you guys enjoy the new controller stuff and as always, keep checking back for more updates for BoneTown.
Hey Tamers, happy Monday (I know, you can't make a Monday sound like a good thing right?)

Ultra Rare Berries are now much more effective for those past the first credits
Here's the full patch list:

Tomorrow I'll be playing the game and testing various menus and adding sound effects for a bit more audio feedback like you guys have been requesting. I have a few more days before I have to head back to my day job and I plan to make use of them :)
Just something I gotta say...
Over the past week I have seen SO MANY (and increasingly) expert tamers helping out newcomers that are trying to learn how to find obscure legendaries, or really min-max the breeding system, grind for brilliants, etc.
Seeing all of that is truly heartwarming and I want to thank all of you for being such incredible people and helping each other out. Know that I'll be looking for every opportunity to add to and improve Monster Crown to make it the best game possible for the amazing players I've been so lucky to have join our community.

This is minor patch adds some extra checks to prevent a certain exception error from happening if Windows doesn't have enough permissions to create the Hall of Heroes folder or its creation fails for any reason.
Tis’ the season for being sick, so work was going slower than usual. At some point, we had more team members sick than not! Still, we have made some significant progress in both backend systems and visual design.
Backend
We have been working on what we are calling a “visual block editor” for monsters’ behaviours. It enables the design team to add new monsters quickly and experiment with their AI without bothering programmers. The funny thing is, the editor is actually neither “visual” nor “block”. It uses our engine’s object tree allowing for complex behaviours to be nested in a relatively easy way on the fly when playing the game. Here is how it looks:
This is what passes for a convenient visual block editor around here!
Gameplay
In the gameplay department, we have been working on basic card mechanics like drawing, playing, and discarding cards. Fundamental stuff that has to be done right so we could build upon it.
Design
Design work continues on mock-ups for windows and screens. It’s a lot of work to put all the windows together in-game but we are making steady progress. Going for maximum clarity and compactness here. Here you can see a Rewards Window mockup already in-game:
Work is also progressing in designing locations for various events. Here we are designing the locations and already sketching and visually prototyping them, working in parallel to speed up the production. Here is a sample of our work in progress:

Before we started Yes, Brother, our idea was to create a sequel to explore not only Alberto’s and Isaac’s adventure, but also introduce them to a new place (no spoilers!). We believe this would be a rich experience since we want to expand the game universe, so we created Bara Giants to connect it to Yes, Brother. Our goal was to create a 3rd game in which Alberto, Isaac, and William (Isaac’s brother from Bara Giants) meet each other and end their adventure together.
However, Bara Giants brought us a new audience (macrophilia community) and we’ve decided to end the Yes, Brother adventure in this game. In the near future, we’ll launch 3 major updates that will change relevant things from Yes, Brother story, and today we would like to introduce you to 2 of them.
The 1st one is Bara Giants which will receive an update on the Halloween sale and William’s story will not end the way it ends.
The 2nd one is Yes, Brother which will receive a visual update for all pixel art assets (tilesets and characters). As you saw on Bara Giants, we’ve been making our own tilesets, so Yes, Brother will have the same aesthetic of Bara Giants.
Check out some photos about the visual update.
There will be a MAJOR update for Yes, Brother in which a lot of things will be added, but we’ll post about this when we have more things ready.
The visual update will happen on the Halloween Sale (on October 28th) and because of that, the game price will be increased by 1 dollar totalizing $3,99. If you have already purchased the game, you will not pay anything else for it, you will just have to download it again. (Sale files will be lost or will not work properly.)
We hope you all enjoy these changes and don’t forget to follow our Steam page to get the latest news.
New games will be announced soon!

Don’t forget to follow our Steam page because new games will be announced soon.
Small update this week, since we were doing funding applications last week.
-Added button for switching between different camera styles //We still need to refactor the way the aiming and movement works for this, but it's fun to try out!
-Goal text flashes red when a team reaches 8 goals or higher.
-Rocks have a new material on them, that gives them a little more detail on edges.
